Envision Security features a lifetime warranty for its customers. This is a great benefit in case any equipment needs to be replaced over the life of your system. Other security companies offer a shorter warranty to no warranty at all or charge for service plans. Another plus to Envision is that it features a cellular system for monitoring. The benefit of having a cellular security system versus a wired landline connection is that you never lose monitoring services. Even if you lose power or if an intruder cuts your phone line, your home remains protected. This is one of the most reliable monitoring options on the market.

Envision is an authorized dealer for Monitronics. In September of 2014, Envision received a $3M loan that would allow the company to grow and expand. With that said, the monitoring and contracts are still managed by Monitronics, forcing customers to deal with the two companies depending on the issue. With Envision managing only the installation and service of its products, it is difficult for the company to manage the entire customer experience. The monitoring center is managed by Monitronics which isn't necessarily problematic but can be confusing for customers - knowing which company to contact and when. Because Envision only services three states, it is recommended to contact the company to ensure service is available in your area. Envision provides free moving certificates for its customers; but again, this is dependent upon living within the service area. If you foresee a big move in the near future, we recommend looking elsewhere as you may run into contractual issues by canceling early.

If you live in Arizona, California, or Colorado and are looking for security company with excellent customer service, then Envision Security should meet your needs. Envision's life-time warranty also makes it a competitive option among bigger brands. However, if you dislike working with a security dealer versus one with its own proprietary system and equipment, we suggest you look elsewhere.
