Point Security Reviews

I recently signed up for Point Security after considering several other companies. They were by far the cheapest up front with no charge for equipment, installation, or activation. Every other company I spoke to wanted to charge anywhere from $175-$1,000+ for the exact same equipment (1 doorbell camera, 1 motion sensor, 3 door sensors, and 5 window sensors). They also have the least expensive monitoring I have found. When I asked other security companies about matching rates the closest I could get was when I was told that they could, but it would go back up to the standard rate after a certain amount of time because they said that Point Security's rate must be a promotional rate and that it too would increase over time. It isn't, and it won't. During the whole process of trying to decide which company to go with, I made several calls to Brian (in sales) at Point Security and he was always pleasant and never had a problem answering any questions that I had. By the end of it all, I was confident that I was making the best decision possible by choosing Point Security to protect my home.

Tried to schedule an appointment to transfer services to no avail. Presumably, this company wanted me to repurchase system or break contract after having it just over 2 years. Whatever the reason, it is extremely rude to not even return a call. It is no wonder they are so far down on the list. Please look else where before choosing this company.
