Guardian Protection Cost

Like most professionally installed solutions, a Guardian Protection security system requires little upfront costs and offers free equipment. All it takes is a one-time installation fee ($99) with prices varying depending on the home security systems package.

Monthly monitoring prices start at $29.99* and cellular monitoring and remote access packages start at $45.99 per month. A control panel, motion detectors, door sensors, window sensors, and professional monitoring center services are standard, but video surveillance from security cameras is only available on more advanced packages.

About a week ago I called and the person just didn't seem to be very interested in the problem I was having. It was night time and there was no one available who could tell me why the fire thing was going off and she told me they could probably get to me next week. I toldher that is not going to work for me. I pay something every month, I would like somebody to get here once I had a problem and less than two weeks. That was followed up by two men coming over here and going through my house with me and telling me what the problem was and they were very good. You're prompt in response.

I wish they could do motion sensors. I have a detached garage and had motion sensors with ADT. When I changed to Guardian I was told they could not do motion sensors. Now I worry about someone breaking into my garage. I like that the price is guaranteed for the length of my contract. I also like how fast they respond via phone call to an alarm. Also that I have the option to bypass anything that has a alarm on it.

I was told that my same monitored services would be covered by Guardian, at no additional cost. However, my fire and carbon monoxide monitoring did not get picked up. I have been waiting for a couple of weeks for someone to get back with me.

Good. I have had good experiences when I have had any communication with Guardian. However, I was upset that Guardian continued to charge the previous homeowner for a few months after I had taken over her contract.

Given what we he hoped to get in a new system, we are satisfied. Guardian Protection has been very good. We did feel somewhat unfamiliar with some of the ins and outs of the system, like not knowing there was a limit of 400 video clips or how to know how many we had; how adjusting and saving the motion sensor changes on my phone did not in fact reset the changes. But when I called to ask questions the respires ratified were incredibly helpful walking me through the necessity of going to the website on the computer to adjust changes.

Customer service reps are very professional and courteous. But I have had three techs out here in the three weeks I've had this system and they can't resolve the motion detector problem.

Very very poor. Nothing but problems. They sold me a system not suited for me because of my dog. Problem occurred immediately and was poorly addressed. Still waiting for a credit I was supposed to get more than 2 weeks ago

They were able to install the system using my existing hardwired systems. They seem to always respond all though my request to send information info my insurance company was not followed through.

It was a little bit cheaper than ADT. It works. They can talk me through things on the phone I don't have to have service people come out. It would be nice if they'd supply the batteries because it seems like my batteries are always going out.

We've had a couple of issues. Customer support has been pretty good, they've been easy to get in touch with. We had an issue with the app where we couldn't open and close our garage with the app but that was probably because we changed internet providers. That took awhile to resolve. We live in a townhome, if somebody knocks on the door and your one the third floor you can look out the front door on your phone. If the alarm is triggered you get a call right away.

I've had them for years. I've always been very happy with them. I like that I can control it from my phone. Every time I've had to call they've been very helpful. I've had to call them at times when the alarm went off accidentally and they were very nice about it.

I like the unit on the wall. It's smaller than the unit that I had before so I'm pleased with that, compact. When I've contacted them they took care of the situation right away. I was pleased with what they did.
