The company is very expensive and their SkyBell doorbell would not capture people dropping off or picking up packages. I got a ring camera to see when people came by because the SkyBell was not working. I called constantly and they complained it was my internet (they did replace my SkyBell but it did not help) and have me disconnect and reconnect my doorbell. My ring camera is connected to the same internet and is farther away from the router and has not missed a beat. It would take hours, waiting on the phone then to get it set up, just to have a good signal for about a day or two. They were quick to give me a free month but I wanted out of my contract as to me they did not uphold their end of the bargain (complete security for my home) and they would not let me. They claimed they are still able to provide some of the features.

I had a low battery indication on one motion detector. Tech support told me to replace the battery on the detector. (I did not know that once this happens the whole system becomes inoperable). It took me over an hour to take apart the motion detector to replace the battery. I got so frustrated, I thought about switching to other security companies that have better equipment. Half the tech support are almost no help at all. The fact that a motion detector having a weak battery will make the whole system inoperable and useless is mind boggling.

This company is terrible. Had them 6 years and watched the service decline to the point of nonexistent try calling them and it is a 2 hour wait to talk to someone. Had an alarm go off in our home and they called us and got disconnected and they never called back, luckily it was a false or we could be dead. Watch there cancellation policy when you sell your home they push transferring on you and then don't tell you out right you will pay for it until the new owner transfers the service...they got a few months out of us on that fine print and would not even budget. STAY AWAY!

They don’t run many promotions for their existing customers to upgrade their equipment and that would be nice but they are the only ones that have good enough cell coverage for my area and overall it is pretty decent. I like that it is do it yourself and you can pick and choose from several options what fits you best.

For the most part the equipment seems to be working fine. I have had some issues, mostly with it going off when we are not at home, but mostly it works fine. Frontpoint is very responsive and call the check in and send someone if there is no response. The app is good. The price is competitive compared to other companies.

My experience has been a nightmare. Cheap, flimsy equipment. So many false alarms when I had the system disarmed. Customer service wanted to blame everything on the monitor service. I have two other systems with other companies that I am very satisfied with. Stay away from Frontpoint!!!

Your equipment is glitchy. Your service is unhelpful. I get a robot call asking if everything is alright. Police don't take your calls seriously. During one break in your motion sensors didn't go off because it turns out they are infra red sensors not motion. The thieves simply covered up their skin. They had all the time in the world to search around for valuable. .

System is installed manually with over the phone assistance only, no technician sent out for service if system malfunctions or to ensure system is installed properly, 3 year contract is the worst, paying just to have the system. Oh let's not forget service for false alarm charge of 150 every time police are dispatched. The worst security alarm system every. I will not be renewing my contract.

When I signed up I had concerns about the system working with our poor internet service. I was told it would not be an issue, but that has proven to be the case frequently. Also realized they charge you monthly to use their app and a touchscreen screen with similar capabilities cost extra.
