It's great for young people but may not be as easy for someone who is a little older. It is a little complicated installing certain products. I had it a little off and it was not a very good experience. Customer service is pretty responsive and pleasant to deal with. They don’t push as much as other companies.

FrontPoint could be a lot more customer oriented. A lot of times you can’t get a good answer from customer service. Sometimes their equipment failed and they kind of don’t know what to do other than to say get new equipment. The monitor lasted two years and it went out and when I asked for them to replace it, they told me to go out buy a battery pack and fix it myself.

Customer service is really good. I think they have a good mixture of home automation and home security. I have some trouble with door contacts, they don’t behave well and they don’t function all the time. The little stickies don’t work will, I wish they were a little bit more solid.

I like that I can manage it from wherever I am. Some of the sensors sometimes start acting up so that is a little bit of a pain but I think they are little short staffed as sometime I can not get a hold of them and have to wait for the phone call.

There were some times where the front door alarm was faulty but I would be able to turn it off from inside the house. This usually happens around the same time in the early in the morning. They are usually very helpful whenever I had to have a discussion with them. Priced better than ADT.

They are receptive when you need to call. You have a few problems with it every now and then and they need to be readjusted. Sometimes the doorbell camera doesn't pick up the motion detector so we have to call and get it reset again. I like the ease in which you could activate the system. Just push the button and it activates it.

In the beginning, my experience wasn't what I thought it would be. They didn't sent the correct item at first and then when I called them, I had to basically call two times to get the right item mailed to me and then when I did, they didn't set up the referral, they ended up charging me. The system that they have sticky stuff isn't really sticky so I had to use crazy glue myself to fix some.

Experience has been good. Their written complaint option within the Frontpoint app is unresponsive, calling with complaints/problems is much better. Use of the App to arm and disarm is very user friendly. Adding sensors to the system is very easy through the App or by calling them on the phone. I feel the cost is a little higher than need be.

They usually answer and get your problem fixed fairly quickly. Problems, you're gonna call them...alot. Between faulty sensors, mobile apps that report as an error, and delayed door chime call outs that'll scare the pants off you when no one has used the backdoor in over 20 minutes ago when you brought the dog in and locked the door and armed the alarm for bed and then BACKDOOR CLOSED!!! Rings out while you're laying down.

Installation is easy, however, customer service is not great. For example, I put in a call two weeks ago for help with installation of a new keypad. When on hold for Customer Service, you are given the option to leave your number for a callback & then you select a time. My callback was supposed to come 30 minutes later, but it came a week and a half later when I wasn't home to upgrade the unit. My biggest complaint is that when subscribing, you are given the impression that you will have full use of the FrontPoint app, however, it expires after something like 30 days at which time if you want to continue using it, you have to pay $10 more per month. That was never told to me when I signed the contract. It's ridiculous that to have use of the app, I would need to pay the same amount per month I was paying to CPI & they actually talk to you when an alarm goes off. Sorry that I signed a 3 year contract.

Front point was recommended by a friend and nobody is perfect but they seem to be doing pretty good. They are pretty good about helping me with everything I need to do. It was easy to set up. I have had multiple problems with the equipment but they're taking care of it.
