It all depends on the agent you get. I had an agent when I was so much younger and he was wonderful. Always checked in on us. Always made sure that we had everything we needed. Lately, I've been through two agents that seem to be useless. However, the third one was the charm. Shop around for your agent.

I would have to say that you get what you pay for. They are one of the highest priced insurance companies out there. But, I never had any problems with claims whatsoever. Very prompt, convenient, and reliable. I hate that I can no longer afford them. I used SF for well over 30 years. But, when money got tight, I had to switch.

I've been a multiline account holder of State Farm products for almost 30 years. In that time I have had only one claim for my homeowners policy and once i turned it in that was the end of it. I have had my car insurance, car financed and other products through them. I have had to change agents because of deaths. But overall I'm pleased.

I havent had them for long and have not had any claims but I use state farm for my auto insurance too and it was easy to bundle the two online. Their systems seem to be a little outdated and dont communicate well internally but are super kind and well trained. Always willing to help and go above and beyond for customer service.

Very good product services. but not the best value for some if expense is a concern like it was for me initially. Over the years quality and integrity became most evident as my family needs grew, and expense became less of a factor. When we contacted them to ask why (since we had never had a claim) they kept passing us to different agents. All we were told is it’s because of the economy. I understand that rates do increase somewhat but not almost double in two years.. They have rotten customer service. We did some research and found a much cheaper company

I was a customer of State Farm for nearly 10 years. At the start, they were a great insurance company. That was until I had to file a claim. I had a house that ended up with water damage. They paid part of the claim and then dropped me. I ended up having to use a high risk insurance company because of this. It took several years for that claim to fall off so that I could get a reasonable rate again. I didn't choose to have a water leak, and it isn't my fault that State Farm couldn't take care of their customer.
