I have been satisfied with the gutter filters so far. No major rain has occurred, and of course being summer, no leaf debris has fallen onto the gutters. It will be the test of the gutter filters when these two event happen. Visual inspection looks good. The installers were polite, and cleaned up after the job was finished. The part of the service I would give only 1/2 of a star is the rep that came to our house to give us a price for the installation of the gutter filters. Alex K. was pushy, deceptive and nearly dishonest. First thing he did was give a price of over $10,000. Then suddenly he was able to reduce it to over $5000. Then when the final price quote of $2,237 was suggested he acted like he was giving us a real deal. Next he said that he had some left over material from another job that he could use if we wanted another color from white. BIG lie!. The installers have all the product and it was in boxes that they use as needed. He also implied that life time guarantee was more than just that the gutters would not clog. Well any person who could see the gutter filter would know that the gutter would not clog, but the top of the filter could clog. DUHHH. That is not guaranteed. The last item I was disappointed in was his unethical dealing with the fact that he left off our shed gutters in the final write up. This was discussed at the time of his price. I specifically mentioned the shed gutters to him and he added them to the total feet of gutter to be installed. We added it to the write up, emailed it back and he accepted it. NOW, when the installers came to our home, they had the old contract and it was missing the shed add on. The installers called the service and were told to include the shed. When this happened he was upset and tried to bargain with us saying he could now add the shed for $340. We did not agree with this and his boss said they would add the shed gutters as included in the agreed original price Then Alex complained to us that "this is cutting into my profit" NOT good customer service. He was in my opinion a dishonest person trying to take advantage of an older person. He should be in with the scam callers or used car sales person.

Had them installed a few weeks ago and we have had heavy and light rainstorms since. For the most part they work well but there is one spot where debris builds up and doesn’t come off. Water runs over the debris onto the ground. I had to brush off the debris to get it to flow into the gutter in that area again. They will give you a very high price to start. Don’t accept it. Don’t pay any more than $10/ft. Even that is too high but they may not go any lower. The sales pitch is pretty aggressive. If the cost is too high for you just tell the sales rep you are going to keep looking at alternatives.

The work was done quickly, cheaply, and adequately. However, they made a mess of my back yard —there’s a huge patch where they killed the grass in my back yard, they left an inch-thick pile of sludge all over my glass-top patio table, and I have found over 20 brackets, wood screws, and shards of metal all around my yard, one of which cut my dog's foot. I wish they had taken a little bit of time to clean up properly. Oh, and they wrote down my credit card number wrong and tried to blame me for it, even though I called to tell them about the error. They threatened me over the phone while I was trying to give them the corrected information! We took advantage of desperation pricing over the winter, but I’m not sure it was entirely worth it.

It's worth noting that while they sell you on avoiding ice dams, the warranty specifically excludes those. I've seen considerable icicles on my gutters, so I'm not convinced these guards do much to prevent ice dams. My other issue was with pricing and scheduling. They first quote a crazy high price and then slowly reduce it-in my case it came down by over 70% ($17k to $4.6k) but only if I signed immediately. Then I was told to be home the very next day for the installation. So I stayed home from work but they never came or called. When I called at the end of the day they said they'd be out the next morning. So I stayed home again but again no one showed. Finally on the third try they showed and got the install done that day.

Have only had one hard rain since installation but there seems to be a problem with very excessive runoff in one spot by the garage door that precludes walking on that part of the deck. Also the installation of the white part is inconsistent so that it is visibly uneven when looking from the street. Not putting anyone on report but the installer was apparently hurried to finish the job. Possibly more later.

The installment was efficient but on the TV advertisement the promoter said installers will inspect, level and adjust gutters with the installation. The tech was working solo and trying to finish quicky as it started raining. This week I was on my deck at the back of the house watching a water drizzling from the middle section of my gutter. It may need adjusted with a level. Overall, the system is great!

While they work great letting water in and keeping debris OUT of the gutters, they do not keep debris OFF the gutter which means where the small debris collects on top of the mesh, water does not go INTO the gutter but rather OVER the gutter. So while the claim of never having to clean out the gutters may hold true, I still have to climb a ladder to blow off or hose off the gutter mesh cover anyway

I feel they weren’t thorough in explaining the whole system & what were some of the drawbacks. They raved about the good features. However they sure didn’t explain that you still have to clean your gutter guards from debris. I was told I would never have to go on a ladder to clean them. That isn’t the case. I have to clean off the tops of the guards. Other wise debris clogs up the screens of the gutter guards. My front porch has water streaming down from the gutter during a thunderstorm.

I have no doubt that leaf filter will keep stuff out of the gutters. Little did I know that it even keeps water out in the winter. Snow falls and lands on the system and blocks any melt from entering gutters until the snow melts from gutter guard. After the system was installed and we had first snow and I called C/S about the water runoff and ice cycle buildup along gutters edge. I was told to install heat tape to roof and gutters.

The gutters were not sealed properly and continue to leak. Had a hard time getting any one back and new leaks are appearing. The salesperson ghosted me after getting the contract. Very expensive. Gutter waste was put in plastic bags so I had to empty them into paper bags to have it picked up. Gross job.

I had the leaf filter put in so I didn’t have to go up the ladder to clean out the eve trough. In my area we get what I call oak string seeds in the spring. I will have to go up the ladder to clean them off the leaf filter screen. Starting to wonder if they were worth the money.

The clean-up was not what I would have expected. The installer when cleaning out the gutters prior to installing the leaf-guards, just dropped and left a good about of the leaves on the roof which ultimately either reminded on the roof or washed down on the walk way.

Product seems to work as intended. Issues were with installation several metal brackets and screws were found on the ground after installation crew left. In addition clean out from the gutters was left on the ground and some stained the painted siding.

After installation I had a flooding problem with overflow due to possible blocked down spout drain and lack of splash baffles at valleys in my roof. After four phone calls to the sales rep and to the 800 number we are scheduled to have someone inspect our job 5 weeks after installation. This is Not adequate customer service.

When it's cold out and the water melts on the roof and starts flowing of the roof hits the cold stainless screen it freezes and flows right of the roof like you don't even have gutters at all the only good thing is they won't fill with leaves and they will work in the summer

The problem I have had with your gutters is that debris from the roof catches on the screen top and sticks there. A LOT of it! The other problem is that on a gutter fed by a roof valley the water goes over the screen and gutter edge to create a water fall in the center of the step leading to the front door. This did not happen with the previous gutter and had to be corrected on the LeafFilter with an unsightly dam. If I had it to do over, I would not get any screen top gutter. The only solution I can think of with a heavy leaf load would be a snap on lid allowing easier cleaning that is required with a typical water flow around and in top.

Thinking of 3 stars out of five and the following verbiage: On the day of, immediately after installation on Dec. 2nd, I noticed several screws and debris around the house on the driveway, patio, shrub area, and walk path. A little messier of a job than expected. However, James responded immediately to address the situation, gathering the screws and cleaning up debris. Since the installation, leaves gathered on the roof resulting in overflowing at least one downspout and roof corners. Jame has opened a ticket on our behalf. However, with the off and on rains, it seems to be taking a while to get assigned. Today, I called the support center, myself, as a follow-up since it has been a week and a half and no date has been provided. James has provided us a date. He has been very helpful.

The installation process went very well. The product seems good but the final verdict remains to be cast with potential frequent rains so it's too early to judge. When the estimate was made of our gutter project I was told that the old gutters would be removed from the site, (A service that is built into the bid,) However, when I asked the installerif my old aluminum gutters were going to be recycled, he sheepishly replied that they would not be recycled. So I kept the pile and brought them to an aluminum recycling center. This seems an easy fix for LeafFilter to take the extra step and make sure that a resource like aluminum is not landfilled.

Liked the responsiveness of the sales team for the estimate. I think LeafFilter is way too expensive due to the following reasons. I was not told that the roof grit would block the stainless screen and cause a dam on my gutters. The first day of rain after my installation, I found water pouring over my gutters because of roof grit, evergreen needles and oak leaves blocking the inlet to the gutter. I won't be able to give a positive review of leaf filter for this reason.. Sadly, I was warned by some friends of the roof grit problem. For you to say you'll never have to climb a ladder is untrue. I had to climb a ladder just to clean off the grit.

A couple of days after the install, I called the customer service, I told them it that the rain was spilling over in the corner of the house, they said they didn't have the paperwork, they would have someone call me back. So, I waited, then I call the sales lady, she said would check it out and someone would get back to me. These people really Suck for Service

They offer dicounts but from what? They will not tell me what the range cot is per linear foot. So they could give an inflated quote and then apply the advertised discount. End result is no discount but act like there is one. They ended up charging me $24 per linear foot for second floor installation. Now I need them to clear debre from to diverters each years. They want to charge me for this. I refuse and they relent.

It does keep the leaves out of the gutters, but a film will grow on the screens preventing some of the water from getting into the gutters. Many sections of mine need to be replaced. they sent someone out to assess the filters and he said he was going to report and get them replaced. That was 2 months ago and I have heard nothing from them. With all the advertising they are doing, it would seem they are in need of work and should have the time to come fix my problem.

So far I am pleased with the service I have received from the support team. I am still concerned about the way the filters were installed on my existing gutters. Instead of replacing the roof hangers, the installers cut the mesh out around the original hangers. I questioned the installers and the support team about the integrity of the mesh once it had been cut out. Both claim that this is the way it is done and that it will not cause failure of the mesh. So far it appears to be working as it should. I will do an update in the Spring after the Winter thaw.

We have not been happy with Leaf Gutter, we had problems from the beginning, spoke to the salesman who was a great salesman, but no interest after the sale. The installer did not clean all down spouts, I have had major problems. Would never recommend.

I’m satisfied with my leaf filters. What I’m not satisfied with is their pricing scam. They started off quoting me a cost of $9,600. After their games, I got them for $2400 . It was like dealing with a used car salesman. I still don’t know if I got the best deal.

I really did not understand the whole process the getting gutter. I at five rat thought it was the whole package gutter and cover that were warrantied. SoX I got to looking at the material my gutter itself was made out of and it is very cheaply made. I am concerned about the quality but I did get a receipt on what I paid.

Like the simple process to order, schedule and install the guards. Less than happy with the installation process. We had a new roof installed and there are numerous nails that slipped down between the gutter during the installation process. A good QC process would have inspected and corrected the installers error.

LeafFilter seems to be working for us. However, the installers could/should have done a better job cleaning up the debris from the installation process. We have a sizable amount of metal parts and debris left on the ground. We gathered these items so we wouldn't destroy our lawnmower.....

The whole process was easy and professional. Storms and Winter weather will put things to the test. I do have a serious problem with the aesthetics of how Leaf Filter was installed on my garage. Visually, it bothers me every day I look at it.

We were told that we would never have to clean the gutters again. Know we have helicopter and other debris that has been there for weeks and is still there. If we contact Leaf Filter Gutter Protection, will they send someone over to clean them out at no cost to us?
