Sent a salesman to give estimate even though I was given a qoute previously. After agreeing on a median number between previous qoute and new one signed contract. First appointment, installer showed called from an unknown number and never came to door. Called company after 2 hours installer never showed at agreed upon time. Installer was back home 2 hours away. Reschedule and which went great with scheduler. Company sent another installer which turns out to be another contractor. Came to realization that they over upcharge by triple if not more and they don't install what they're named after, the Leaf Filter. Pretty much overpaid for regular set of gutters.

Only reason I gave 2 stars is because of Billy H. Billy was the salesman. After a week of gutters being installed they leaked called Billy he gave me the number of Josh the service manager no response, so I called Billy back he got right on it scheduled a call with the hot line, she also was very polite, amazingly Josh decided to call after they set a appointment. Josh sent a tech and he put a quick easy fix that did not work. Called Josh AGAIN no answer 2 weeks now. Called Billy he gave me the number of the hot line called once not sure why no answer will try again. Unless they do right by the warranty I feel like I got screwed. Alot of money

During review of the existing gutters and got a price for them, come to find out the price did not include the screen that goes over the gutter itself to keep any leaves tree branches from clogging the gutter system. When the technician came out to install the complete gutter system they did not include the covering over the gutter frame which based on the advertising you mislead shows them technician installing the protective. Even the brochure that I was given shows the complete gutter system which includes the gutter and the top covering. When I signed up to have the complete system installed the sales person showed me pictures of the system which included the top covering. This is like a bait and switch sales pitch. I am very dissappointed that I idid not get what the salesman sold me. He said I was correct with the advertising and never being told the protective covering was not part of the system!! IfI had to do it again I would play more to the sales and what the sales man tells me instead of going on what is advertized on TV on the Internet and the phone, Very dissappointed!

The valleys in my roof had to be cleaned already because all the "whirlybirds" from the maple trees clogged the gutters where they meet with the corner shields. I've already had to call LeafFilter back out to clean them! It's going to be the same thing in the fall when the leaves come down! I specifically pointed out all the trees, maples and pines. around the front and side of the house to yhe sales rep. I also explained that I'm almost 76 yrs. old and I no longer wanted to have to get up on a latter to clean out the gutters! Aside from that problem, some of the gutters extend 3, maybe 4, inches beyond the ends of the house! Why? I had screens over my old gutters so this system actually exacerbates the problem I had before the installation. As far as the gutters extending beyond the frame of the house, I have no idea what that is suppose to accomplish, but it is not vey appealing! At this rate they will need to clean the gutters every spring and fall! I really can't rate the company or the product based on the problems I have experienced thus far.

The product is good, but the sales person was deceptive, telling us we’d no longer need gutter warmers, and that we’d have no icicles that could cause an ice jam. We had 4+ foot icicles. When we called, we were told that our contract specifies that Leaf Filter is not liable for ice jams and doesn’t prevent them. AND we were told it would cost us $100 to have someone come to look it over and fix it.

Had leaf filter installed Oct 4th, the installer ask me if I had any leaks and I showed him 3 spots,he did nothing about the leaks. Since the initial installation your people have been back 2 more times. I called my representative who sold me your expensive product and he said he would have the miters replaced at no cost to me. The next day a man showed up and knew nothing about the miters. He just did more sealing. I am now waiting for rain to see if the problem still exists. For what I paid for this job you would think it would be a good result. Not pleased with Leaf Filter.

The estimated configuration that would work for the weavers’ shed ..does not work. There is a 4” wide spout of water that pours from the “closed” capped end whenever it rains. It filled a rain bucket that overflows and compromises the building foundation. It appears that there should be a down spout or prefiguring of the gutter angle .

It seems to be fine for leaves, but I already have pine needles getting stuck in the holes on the covering. It won't be long and that blockage is going to need to be dealt with. I was told that pine needles would NOT be a problem. They are.

Original date did not happen. Second day they failed to screw in downspouts and ruined a shingle. Week later they screwed in downspouts. Scheduled someone to come for water between house and gutter and missing shingle. Never showed or called. Then rescheduled for 3 weeks later.

We had a poor experinece with installation and are still waiting for there to be corrections made. The installers were in a huge rush to get the job done, even working into the dark. I should have put a stop to it and not paid until all was correct.

Multiple calls for service. Someone set appt to look at issue. Waited all day, no one came. Service department said someone came out 3 days earlier than expected when no one was home. No report....no call to cancel scheduled appt. Calls 3 times since and was told I would be contacted. Never happened.

Inappropriately expensive. 18 feet quoted at $1300, actually charged $600 after discussion. Subsequent installation of Gutterhawk perfectly good material, 4 feet longer than yours, for $237. No comparison.

The pine needles keep piling up in the same spot I complained about a couple of months ago and although the repair person was knowledgable and did try to remedy the problem, it soon clogged up again .I believe there is a design fault with the system that is causing repeated debris to accumulate every time the pine needles fall onto the roof.I currently have another service appointment for next month to clear the new clog.I am not pleased with the performance of this very expensive system. I would not recommend installing this system to anyone. LeafFilteer,should not promise (you never have to climb on your roof again).

Not happy with it. It was never installed properly I am finding out and I have a lot of issues with it. Now I must give them credit with the issues I been having that they send our service people to correct them and they make corrections but more issues keep popping up and I am getting ready to call them out again with finding more problems like still more leeks and parts of the the current gutter coming out of the down spouts.

I have a Leaf Filter job that just can't get done. I paid the money as the Leaf Filter contractor said they would do as they promised. But, while I was gone, they just picked up and left, job not finished. Can't get them to come. All I get is an 800 number out of Ohio. The Eugene office has no phone number. We are in Bend, OR, I suggest the Leaf Filter people (where ever they are?) take a second look at their contractor here in central Oregon. They don't fit the Leaf Filter name and reputation and I won't use them again.

Saw the commercials, called for estimate when they were doing a $100 visa gift card promotion. Install was quick, total cost was more than my estimate (but not by much). I am not very satisfied with this product, the wet leaves just end up staying on top of the screen and not blowing off (because they're wet and heavy). I wish I would have gone with a similar company (Leaf Guard) because their design seems like it would eliminate the problem I'm having.

Leaf Filter is definitely one of the top competitors when it comes to gutter protection. The project is an investment that can take some time to decide since the quotes are usually very high. Other companies, however, can range around the same. So, it would depend on the type of gutter guards to go with or no gutter guards with maintenance. Leaf Filter offered me lifetime warranty, which was a decision maker for me.

Told me that I definitely do not need new gutters but the week they were installed I had a leak and the 2nd technician said I need all new gutters! I got no help with the leak that was supposed to be prevented! Had to hire another company to fix the whole gutter system to not leak. They look ok but were not installed properly
