The Good

  • Effective One-Piece Design
  • Lifetime Clog-Free Guarantee
  • Transferable Lifetime Warranty
  • LeafGuard Gutter Financing Options
  • Professional Installation

Effective One-Piece Design

The Leafguard gutter system is a proprietary, one-piece design that provides protection against leaves, pests, sediment, and water more effectively than other gutter systems on the market. The system is guaranteed not to clog for as long as you own your home, or Leafguard will clean your gutters for free.

Leafguard features a one-piece design made from aluminum and features larger downspouts than competing gutter systems. Quality materials and design allow the Leafguard system to handle 32 inches of rainwater per hour, which is exceptional rain resistance when compared with competitors. The system also includes added support that ensures its protection against harsh weather conditions, including snow and wind.

The Leafguard team will custom-fit your gutter system to the specifications of your home. Leafguard will not damage your roof during installation as it is mounted away from roof shingles.

 Lifetime Clog-Free Guarantee

Leafguard is confident in its product and has a lifetime guarantee that your gutter system won’t ever clog. However, if your Leafguard gutter system does clog, the company will clean your gutters for free.

Transferable Lifetime Warranty

All Leafguard gutter systems include a transferable lifetime finish warranty, protecting your Leafguard system against cosmetic damage, such as paint blistering, chipping, or peeling, as well as structural damage of any kind.

This warranty only covers defects arising from manufacturing or faulty installation — defects or damage caused by normal wear are not covered by the Leafguard Lifetime Finish Warranty.

LeafGuard Gutter Financing Options

Leafguard acknowledges that home maintenance is important, but it can also come with a large price tag. The company offers financing options to help make gutter protection a more affordable reality.

Leafguard is partnered with Synchrony Bank and offers a variety of plans with a reduced APR ranging from 5.99 to 9.99 percent. All plans feature fixed monthly payments.

Professional Installation

When you purchase a Leafguard gutter system, you will receive high-quality workmanship and customer service. Your system will be custom fit to your home and is covered under the Leafguard Lifetime Finish Warranty.

Your gutter installation will begin with a free estimate, including an assessment of your current gutter system, a demonstration of how LeafGuard works, and a written estimate of product and installation costs.

Leafguard installations are typically completed in one day. The installation team will disassemble and dispose of your old gutters, and your new Leafguard gutter system will be custom-formed on-site.

The Bad

  • LeafGuard Gutter Pricing
  • Not Available Nationwide

LeafGuard Gutter Pricing

Leafguard doesn’t provide specific product prices on its website. If you are interested in Leafguard, you can schedule a free estimate. However, Leafguard only offers an at-home estimate, meaning that a Leafguard installer will come to your home and assess your gutters. While this can provide a more reliable estimate, you may prefer a quick online or phone estimate, which the company doesn’t provide.

Gutter installation can cost anywhere from $800 to $2,000, and in some cases upwards of $5,000. The cost of your Leafguard gutter system will depend on various factors, such as linear footage of the gutter on your home, which will vary based on the size of your home.

Not Available Nationwide

Leafguard is only available in 43 states. LeafGuard is NOT available in the following 7 states:

  • Alaska
  • Arizona
  • Hawaii
  • Montana
  • Nevada
  • North Dakota
  • West Virginia

If you reside in any of the states listed above, LeafGuard is not an available gutter solution for you.

The Bottom Line

Leafguard is a proprietary one-piece gutter system that is designed to shed debris and never clog, saving you from having to get on your roof to regularly clean your gutters. Since its inception in 1993, Leafguard has continued to be an innovative product backed by a professional installation process that is covered by a lifetime warranty.

If you’re looking for a gutter system that requires little to no maintenance, and that can be installed within one day, Leafguard could be a good choice for you. LeafGuard even promises that your system will never clog, and if it does at any point, the company will come to clean your gutters for free.

While Leafguard guarantees quality and no clogs, gutter installation can be expensive. For this reason, Leafguard does offer financing options if you’re looking for flexibility in your home maintenance investment.

in my opinion, LeafGuard is the absolute best company to use when you need new gutters. They are perhaps more expensive in the beginning, but they are trustworthy & they stand behind their guarantee 100%. When our gutters were installed, mistakes were made that just were not acceptable to me. The company listened to my complaint & within days, sent out a crew of two to replace the entire gutter, free of charge. These new fellas did an amazing job & the gutter is perfect! No complaints with this company & remember...having to pay a little more for something, is always worth it in the long run, if something goes wrong. LeafGuard has my heartfelt thanks for an amazing job, an amazing product & an amazing guarantee!

Appreciated professional approach. Project manager came out to review salesman's estimate prior to installation. Company made all arrangements for electricity shut off, necessary building materials and on site construction of the gutters. Construction crew came on time, finished early, cleaned up the property of all material, hauled away old materials and did a final walk through explaining the routine annual maintenance to keep the system in tip top shape. Final cost was decreased because not all building materials were necessary. We got an immediate decrease in the bill. The work crew was professional.

though it IS expensive, I think I will appreciate the Leafguard system. It looks great, so far I am pleased...But as of today's first rain, I have yet to determine how well it performs during downpours... The one-day removal of old and installation of new Gutters went smooth, even with an unforeseen equipment hick-up, which was quickly resolved. I appreciate the way the facia was covered/wrapped with metal, which looks great! From the first contact at their office/plant with LeafGuard GM Jake C, to the NO-PRESSURE bid (appreciated & very important to me!) from Seth (though maybe LG Headquarters could make price determination a bit easier), to the work crew, Jose & Balthasar & their PM Angel R, who followed up after install, the whole experience was pleasant. Everyone was helpful, polite, neat and very mindful of plants and property, even though my house is not a McMillion$ Mansion! So far, unless something unforeseen happens, I can only wholeheartedly recommend LeafGuard! As the saying goes: "You get what you pay for!" Thank you all at LeafGuard!

Gutters look great and install was very professional. Installers addressed all my concerns. Have not had sufficient time to determine gutter performance yet as I have not had a chance to see them in action. Of note is that I did not have an opportunity to do a good walkaround inspection of the total install due to the fact the install ran well past sundown. I think the install was a bigger job than the salesman figured. My only negative comment is that the sales approach is akin to buying a car with the salesman having to clear pricing with his manager. In my opinion, they would be better going straight to the bottom line pricing and to gauge the customer's knowledge of the product. It is not always necessary to run through the "Powerpoint" presentation as it is off-putting to customers who do their research. Other than that, the experience was not terrible. After the sale, the install was great, but took longer than anticipated

It has been a very rainy spring and I am very happy with the quality and performance of the product. I had no prior gutters, live on an aggressive grade, and needed to protect my crawl space from accumulating water. Great up front customer service and explanation of the product and what to expect for installation. The quote was the most expensive I received from several companies. Somehow the rep was able to "find" discounts until I was comfortable with the final numbers even though it was still at the high end of my budget. LeafGuard was installed the next day. There seemed to be disconnect between the sales team and install team, but everything was cleared up after a phone call. My only true concern is a slip in customer service after the install. I've reached out to my rep with some questions about the financing agreed on and some system adjustments, and have received no reply. Despite that, I am pleased with the decision to go with LeafGuard so far.

The crew were skilled professionals , worked well as a team , respected the house as they removed and placed facia boards and gutter , the red /wine colored gutters and downspouts matched my Tudor house beautifully , crew came back as promised to tweak/ adjust when I called them back. Member of the same team came and knew what to do. I appreciate the after sale support , I was worried at first since a bit pricing , but to hear and see the water move flawlessly thru the gutters and away from the house in harmony During the rain , puts my mind at ease that we made the right choice . Thx Dc

The one and only reason this is not a complete five star review is that to date I still have not received the down spout run off pieces though I have asked for them multiple times. I have exchanged my desire for receiving these items to both my sales representative and the regional supervisor who both assured me they would make sure I received them. I believe I paid for these items and though I only am requesting two of these items for ro two back downspouts I still have had nothing delivered or heard any update in over three weeks. To me this is not the proper way to treat people no matter what the circumstance. Beyond that the installers did a wonderful job and the quality of the products I have are wonderful. I am glad to have LeafGuard on my home but felt I should let leadership know that some small details are falling through the cracks.

The best gutters on this he market! I would highly recommend! I have two roof lines that come together and the water was unbelievable during storms. Plus I was getting water in my garage. Best investment in my home and I don’t cringe every time it storms! Their gutters are made better than anything else that I looked at. It was considerably more expensive but it’s an investment! Your home should be that important to you!

So far I’m loving my new LeafGuard gutter system. It is louder when it rains than before, but that’s just a minor thing that I noticed. The installation crew was professional and thorough when they cleaned up. There were two areas where they had to make adjustments due to odd angles. They pointed those out, let me know what to watch for, and to contact LeafGuard if I notice issues.

I have very little to complain about at this point. The sales rep and installers were all professionals and the work was done very quickly with no discernible corner cutting that I can see. The real test will come when the heavy rains truly start but so far the gutters are handling everything very well. My only real complaint was that the sales rep didn't have the metal color samples that we could see when we signed so we had to take a chance on that

Leaf Guard just finished installing our new gutters with aluminum covers on all of the facia boards. Great crew Brian R., Isaiah, and Giovanni, did an amazing job. We have 5 different roof lines on our two story house. They removed our old gutters, cleaned up everything , and gave us a tour inspection when finished. They were very courteous and professional, very hard working. I would definitely recommend Leaf Guard. A top notch company from the salesman, managers and this crew.

The salesperson was so knowledgeable and explained everything so well. That is what sold me on buying the product. The job was completed in only five days, that was warp speed, considering I had to have some roof repair work done in order before completion. Yes they were very pricey, but hey, in this day and age, you get what you pay for and the warranty was also a major plus!

They drew my attention to her roof's condition as well, above and beyond, and great appreciated. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience from beginning to end. I've been recommending them to my friends and neighbors!

The product is very good and was installed quickly by very good craftsmen. The downsides are the gutters are very expensive but I expect them to outlast me so it was worth it. The worst downside is I would never ever use the financing plan again. The company Leafguard uses is a very poor financial company (Synchrony) with a BBB review rating of one star. They delay recording payments so they can charge late fees and then charge interest in the late fees. This is a loan shark type company. This has been my biggest disappointment with the gutter installation as I am working to transfer the loan to a legitimate financial company.

When I was talking to them I mentioned I wanted to have the house painted. It wasn't until the new guttering was installed that they told me that I needed to be careful when the painting was done so that I didn't invalidate the warrenty. It would have been nice to know ahead of time.

For how it's initially performing, not near the value for the cost. The install went well. The crew was professional and focused. What stands out initally: 1. The new 50' section installed on my back yard deck roof: a. Was butted up next to a large, mature oak. When the wind blew the tree pushed against the end of the gutter. It screeched and pushed on the gutter. Over time it would have damaged the gutter and the constant rubbing noise kept me awake at night. Rain water is leaking behind the gutter where it is attached to the facade. I've shaved the tree trunk back and will have to caulk the leaks. The downspout catches fill with runoff debris. Hoping this subsides over time. Too much debris is getting into gutter system.

Very expensive, but very effective. We wish we'd installed LeafGuard gutters previously, as the damage to our wooden siding from water cascading over our previous gutters (despite periodic cleaning, new screens, etc) will also be quite costly to repair.

Leafguard replaced our old gutters with its unique technology. We liked the process from the sales to installation. Very clear explanation of the product and the installation process, reasonable price, timely execution exactly as explained, the site was left clean, old gutters were taken with the team. First storm revealed several issues, the team came immediately on the first call and made the adjustments. It’s not a cheap product but if you can afford it I really recommend it.

My experience with LeafGuard was exceptional. They responded to my request for an estimate within a few days, even though I live on an island that involves a long ferry ride to get here. The young man who drew up plans and the estimate was thorough, precise and very pleasant to work with. Then just a few days later my new gutters were installed, again by skilled, hardworking and pleasant men. The gutters look fantastic and work wonderfully and keep out the many fir needles and madrone leaves that pelt my roof.

It has only rained really hard once (but it was like a flood from the sky) since we had the gutters installed, but they did an awesome job. Our previous gutters couldn't handle the deluge of rain that we often get. We have, however, had a lot of steady or light rain as well as significant wind events since the installation. We have a very wooded lot. With my prior gutter guards, after rain or a wind event, there would be pine needles and leaves sticking up all along the gutters. It constantly caused concern for us about potential damage to our home. With the LeafGuard, this was eliminated. We are very pleased. The gutters look wonderful. It's hard to believe that the LeafGuard gutters could make our house look more beautiful, but they do. It's a very polished, finished look. I heard about LeafGuard from my sister. She has had LeafGuard gutters since 2017, and she recommended them to me. She is very particular and a discriminating consumer. I called her the night before my initial appointment for an updated critical analysis because it had been some time since she first recommended LeafGuard, and her response was, "Love, love, love them!" It was a very good recommendation, and I wish I had had them installed when we renovated our house. All of the local folks we worked with at LeafGuard, were great to work with. Lastly, they do cost a lot, but this is a case where really do you get what you pay for. I spent quite a lot of money on ineffective gutters and guards that looked terrible and were not as effective. LeafGuard is worth the price.

When I did the research for the gutter system, I was misled into believing that Leaf Filter is the real deal and the rest are second rate companies. This is wrong. Perhaps Leaf Guard does not advertise enough and I am sure a lot of your potential customers invariably end up signing with the Leaf Filter. There is world of difference between Leaf Guard (the right one) and Leaf Filter (no good). I can say that with full authority as I had the Leaf Filter installed and I regretted it from day when it started to rain. Guys, Dont confuse Leaf Guard with Leaf Filter. * The way Leaf filter works is that a screen is placed on the existing gutters of the house to prevent the roof asphalt / debris from going into the horizontal gutters and downspouts. * After a bout of rain and sun, the debris is caked onto the Leaf Filter. True, no debris gets into the gutter and any rain causes the water to fall over the gutter edge (as the filter pores are blocked with the caked debris). * No matter what anyone says, the caked debris does not clear with any rain or wind and only have to climb up to scrub it off. This will repeat and you end up doing worse than without the Leaf Filters. * The guratntee from Leaf Filter is that gutters dont ever get blocked. They never say that that filter gets blocked. The water and debris subsequently fall on to the ground right next to the foundation. So my advise , dont go for Leaf Filter or any other company providing such solutions. On the Other hand, the Leaf Guard does what others cannot do either partly or wholly. If you want a system that will work and cause you no worry, then go for Leaf Guard. I blame the Leaf Guard for not advertising the pros and cons of other systems out there. I even saw on Reddit reviews where people had the Leaf Filter installed and yet they were calling it Leaf Guard and informing that it does not work with the same reasoning I mentioned above. The cost of the Leaf Guard is higher than any other but would one want a system that works and gives peace of mind or throw your investment away for a few dollars less? I have seen the Leaf Guard in work for over a month now with lot of rain here in PSNW and there has been no water fall into a pool on the ground (which was a routine with Leaf Filter..ughh!) I am saying this with authority as I have had both systems and Leaf Guard wins hands down. Dont be fooled by Leaf Filter or any other system in the market. With Leaf Guard, you get New gutters and downspouts which are much larger in size and match you house color without ever fading. Thank You Leaf Guard

The salesman stopped by at my request, and let me know all of the particulars, including the price. This house was built in 1956 and we've done a lot of what needed to be done long ago. Our standard gutters had screens, however the pine needles from our huge Pine Trees were clogging up the gutters regardless. So, I thought that LeafGuard might be the answer. The price was high, but the crew did some furring and facia board repairs while making our system drain properly and look good. I understand that this was no ordinary job, and the flashing and fitting of each piece made all the difference between LeafGuard and all the others. I believe in paying whatever is necessary to do the job right the first time. My neighbor commented on the look of the gutters. We have lots of big storms, and they seem to be doing the job with the downspouts all connected and the flashing protecting the roof and the house from any further rain damage.

The rep was very good at selling the services, however, when there was an issue with wood being replaced the team dropped any communication with us. There was a discrepancy in what we expected as a customer with our old rotted wood, and what was told to us about what would/would not qualify being fixed by their team. I spoke to a representative on the phone questioning our responsibility of finding a carpenter to fix the wood prior to the last gutter being placed on the front of our house and never heard back. So as of right now we have one portion of the house which still needs to be fixed prior to the gutter being placed. I am paying $650 a month which is way more than I thought I would be paying for this type of service. In addition the team which installed the gutters left the large nails from the old gutters laying all over the yard and I am still finding some of these in the ground. Overall, not impressed with the resolution and will still at some point need to call to have the last piece of the gutter installed after I find a carpenter that I can afford to replace the wood (which again discrepancy with what was sold and understood vs. what happened with the rotting wood.)

I would give 5 stars if they were a little cheaper. They are without doubt the best gutters around, 20 years and never cleaned had to clean one. We recently just had more put on and at a rough average of $100 a foot, they are expensive! But still worth it. The money is something you have to consider for sure, you can pay to have you gutters cleaned 3 times a year for probably as long as you own the house for the price of these. I still love them and will buy again.

The crew that installed our gutters were wonderful. They were well organized, worked very hard, cleaned up including the old gutters and did a fantastic job of installation. No more gutters plugging up and running over, thank you Leafgusrd.

I think the product quality is great, but a sales person should not be promising a design that installer cannot accomplish. Our installer tried to put a downspout in the middle of the run, where we specifically said we did not want one. The sales person told us it would work fine without a spout in the middle, but the installer discovered a low spot. We made him take the spout out because the water would have ended up in our basement, but now the low spot has no way to drain and just spills over the top of the gutter. I’m going to have to tear part of my roof apart to fix it. It’s not the installer’s fault, he told us this would happen, but ultimately, he could not deliver the product that the sales person promised.

The original installation crew was fast and professional and Rudy the team lead was courteous and accommodating on changes I wanted. Some issues were found later and the 2nd crew (Josh and Drew) were also courteous and professional while making modifications I requested. I had two houses done.

Eric & Darren were quality installers, they were on time, cleaned up and left the place looking great. The overall product is fantastic and both sales person and the manager were easy to deal with. I would recommend this product and company to everyone.

The gutters were installed in a timely manner. The men were polite and very professional. However, when we decided to pay by check, it has been nothing but trouble ever since. The bank which handles the credit for the gutters does not acknowledge the check we gave the installer the day of the installation. It has been a hassle ever since then. I hope our credit scores are not affected by this problem of miscommunication between LeafGuard and the bank.

Expensive! Salesman initially asked $18K to remove old gutters and install the new LeafGuard. I said no. Next he offered to get it done for $13K plus. I said no. He made a phone call and then offered to do the job for $11K. After discussing the work to be done further, when it would be accomplished, number of workers, time to complete work, cleanup after completion, etc., I accepted. Four men showed up on a poor weather day (cold and damp) and went straight to work. They were friendly and knew their jobs well. Completed all work and cleanup in approximately four hours. Though I am yet to see the new gutters performance in a hard rain they have been as advertised in the rather dry month since installation.

This was a really positive experience the whole way through. The demonstration by our sales guy on how the LeafGuard system works and it's benefits over other gutter systems was straight forward with interesting information. LeafGuard was able to have a crew at my house to put up the new gutters two days after we had agreed. The crew showed up on time, were extremely helpful, and very polite.
