Hello, my name is, uh, Derek. I'm in Washington DC and I have the pleasure of actually being referred to Leaf Fitters through a friend. And, um, I called a account account rep. They came over like, maybe two days later, um, went, was very thorough with the process and all that. They would, you know, do the, get those, um, new gutters and, um, on my home. And, uh, he explained that also that there's a lifetime warranty, which is very, very good in case anything goes wrong, uh, something's falling apart or what have you just give them a call and they'll come out and fix the repairs. Also, uh, the fact that if I ever sell my home, um, that warranty will go to the, um, new homeowners, uh, which is a very good sales point if I ever decide to sell my home. I also like the fact that, um, when the, um, installment crew came over, they were very professional. Um, it, it was done in one day. Um, they left pamphlets for me to read over. Uh, I love the fact that we had a rainfall a few nights ago and I love the fact that no worries of clogged leaves or, um, debris in, in my gutters anymore. And I think it's the best thing that I've done for my home.

The product is good, but the sales person was deceptive, telling us we’d no longer need gutter warmers, and that we’d have no icicles that could cause an ice jam. We had 4+ foot icicles. When we called, we were told that our contract specifies that Leaf Filter is not liable for ice jams and doesn’t prevent them. AND we were told it would cost us $100 to have someone come to look it over and fix it.

Put them in after leaves were down, have to be resealed when the weather is warm cause first seal didn't stick and now I get icicles hanging from the gutters. How in heck am I supposed to know how they perform? You have kept asking me and now you say it's my last chance to give my opinion. Here Tis!

The main concern for me is the sudden interest the FL red-headed woodpeckers have taken in testing the rebound capabilities of our (& other's) gutters ... Am still worried about leaf & berry build-up on the "top" of the LeafFilter channels ...

I have no doubt that leaf filter will keep stuff out of the gutters. Little did I know that it even keeps water out in the winter. Snow falls and lands on the system and blocks any melt from entering gutters until the snow melts from gutter guard. After the system was installed and we had first snow and I called C/S about the water runoff and ice cycle buildup along gutters edge. I was told to install heat tape to roof and gutters.

Everything was great. From first meeting with Mario who explained the entire procedure to me so that I understood all that would be done. Once the worker came he went over it again and immediately started working. We kept saying would they clean the gutters, they said yes, which we learned meant the insides and we meant the outsides as well. Also, they could not seal them because of cold weather so we are a little worried about that. Otherwise we are very happy.

I very much liked my conversations with customer service reps regarding concerns about the contact then later about rain coming down around a downspout. Turns out the downspout was clogged which the installers had clearly missed! I'm concerned other downspouts may have been missed as well so I will have to check for that next rain. Installers should not only clean gutters but downspouts too. The lifetime warranty gives me confidence any issue will be addressed as this one was so I am still recommending your company to friends and neighbors. Please don't let me down. Thank you
