We recently had our garage door serviced by Halls Garage Doors. I started to notice slack within our cables, not allowing the door to close tightly and evenly. I will admit I first thought about adjusting the cables myself. However after further thought, I realized I may do more harm than good. The point being , had i attempted to adjust the cables, I would have gone past the right amount of tension . So without further delay I reached out to Halls Garage Doors. I spoke to someone in there office who was extremely friendly and helpful. I explained my situation and a appointment was made promptly. The technician who showed up was named Noah .I will admit at first I was caught off guard by how young he was and him being the service tech. However as stated Noah showed up on time ,answered all my questions with confidence and with clarity. He explained what had to be done ,and went right to work at fixing my door cables and adjusting them to the proper tension levels. Noah clearly was trained well by Halls and wasn't satisfied until I was satisfied with the end result. He explained again all that had to be done and made sure again the end result was to my satisfaction. So a humble thank you to Noah and to Halls Garage Doors, for fixing the issue and servicing our garage doors promptly and correctly. Noah was respectful of our property and home and acted and behaved in a professional manner, that represented Halls Garage Doors well. Again his age may be younger than expected, but equally capable of performing the task and repairs required at the day of the service call. Therefore i will indeed recommend and use Halls Garage Doors in future service to our garage door. This has been my humble and honest review based on my recent service call in February 2026. When I accidently closed my garage door on my car, my garage door was, to say the least, damaged. It was bent in a number of places and would not function properly. I called Hall's Garage Doors and made an appointment, fearing that my bank balance was about to take a major hit. What a wonderful surprise awaited me. Justin came out, looked over the damage, made a repair plan and executed it flawlessly. The quality of this man's work is absolutely the best, his work ethic was first-rate and his communication was perfectly understandable and actionable. The cost was more than reasonable...actually much less than I thought. It is not posssible to overstate my appreciation for Justin and Hall's Garage Doors for having a five-star employee. Thank-you Justin!

Hall’s Garage Doors is absolutely the best! From the first time I contacted them, they were very friendly, professional, prompt, and willing to help with my very old (46 years) wooden garage door. They came ready to repair it and gave me a fair price. After some thought, I decided maybe we needed a new one. They ordered one for us and patched up the old one so we could use it until the new one arrived. They even accommodated me when I changed my mind and wanted windows in it! So we now have a beautiful new door which works perfectly and we are 100% satisfied! By the way, all the guys they sent out were top notch. They certainly knew their “stuff” and were able to work around some tight spaces. Each one was courteous and friendly. I highly recommend Hall’s Garage Doors!

After about 10 years, our once new garage-doors began to have problems. It was at that time that we contacted Hall’s garage doors to make those repairs including replacing a burned out motor and replacing thespring mechanism to raise and lower the garage doors. The repairs were done quickly, expertly, and at a very reasonable price. We were very satisfied with their work and would gladly use them again if needed.

We have used Hall's on two different occasions. First when a door spring broke, and again to tune-up a second door. On the second door I was braced for a bigger diagnosis but all it needed was an adjustment and grease. They were on time and professional on both occasions.

Halls replaced a broken overhead spring making the opener struggle to open the door at a newly arriving relative. Hall’s sent out an experienced young tech that came equipped with all the right parts like he was clairvoyant. Replaced, adjusted and tested the door before leaving. Well done! I’ve also sought parts for my doors and after stopping at their office they provided the right parts to solve my problems.

Hi Megan, your company did a great job and we are very pleased with the garage doors. I know a company here In Patrick County that installs garage structures and I will reach out to them. My recommendation to you is to contact other garage structure installers. There are a lot in NC that install in VA. We chose not to go with their standard roll up doors. They might like door options. At the time, we had purchased a property just outside Christiansburg City limits and the original garage doors were in need of replacement. Halls was one of three companies we contacted. Their estimator was prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. Their showroom had everything necessary to aid in the decision process and was conveniently located. Upon arrival at the site, Their installation team was prompt. Considerate of the surrounding portion of the property. Completed the project as described and they left the area as clean as they found it. There was a follow up to the site as there was a small adjustment needed and there were no questions asked. Their field representative showed up as scheduled and addressed the issue. In the future, if I were to need their services, I would not hesitate nor look anywhere else. I have been in the trades for my entire life and work in QA/QC and would definitely recommend Halls for garage door installation or service.

My 87yo Mothers car was trapped in her garage because the garage opener failed....I was at work 300 miles away when she called in a panic. I Talked to my uncle that lived in the area and he recomended Halls Garage Doors.I called them and explained the situation.With in hours the door was repaired with a new opener.Sooooo,shortly after my Mom went to open the door.wouldnt open as she couldnt figure it out.I called Halls back and they sent the tech out right away to explain to my elderly Mom how to work everything again. You just cannot get service like that anywhere.I just bought a home thet Halls installed 6 garage doors on and work perfectly.,Stan

First of all, the people are real friendly and knowledgeable. Second, they solved my problem very quickly. My garage door opener stopped working, they were able to come over the same day and determined that it was shot. We quickly determined it was under warranty and so they ordered a new upgraded version. It arrived in about three days and they delivered to my home and swapped it out for free. Wonderful service and great people.

In 2016 the garage door that the builder installed in 2007 was not running smoothly or quietly. I called Hall's and they were able to replace the door with the mandated style for our association. A year later, my neighbor crashed into the door. After some other necessary re-construction was completed, Brandon from Hall's replaced the bottom and intermediate sections like new. Last year, I opted for a newer model garage door opener. Hall's came out to do that and took time show me a lot of features that I might be interested in. Professional and polite interaction.
