What a scam. I was moving into a new house and wanted the flooring complete before we moved in. The sales rep took pictures and included in the contract a fix on a slope in the floor writing it in. I was told I would be contacted by the installer to look at the scope of work in advance and if they couldn't repair the floor I would get a full refund of deposit. He also added this into the contract on his tablet. Installed shows for what I though was pre-inspection ready to do the install. He couldn't do the install because the work was beyond their scope. They never saw the photos, National never told them about the subfloor slope otherwise they would have declined the job. National has 1 customer rep that was rude, claimed she was the only customer care rep and there was no management that spoke over me. They never sent a final contract and refused to do so claiming the contract was No refunds at that point. Almost 2 years and they still refuse to honor the terms of the contact and refuse to issue a refund to go somewhere else to have the work done. Because I couldn't get a copy of the contract at the point of sale, I was told by a lawyer I was out of luck pursuing a refund in court. The unsavory sales rep - never returned calls - ghosted us for months. If I could rank lower than 1, I would

Stay clear of National Floors Direct. The quote they provide will most likely be the lowest, but the reason they can do that is because they contract out the floor installation to the cheapest installers that cut corners. I had every room in my condo done by them in October 2018. I started to notice the floor buckling in April/May of 2019. I called their so-called Customer Service Dept. I was instructed to take pictures of the problem and send via email to them. I was also reminded that they only guarantee their installation for 3 months. Because my floor was installed in October it was fine throughout the winter months then I started to see the problems in the Spring when the floor EXPANDS. The installers did not leave ample room for the expansion of the floor therefore causing the floor to buckle. The floor is not even one years old and THEY wouldn’t even send someone out to inspect. They promised to return my phone calls but never did. Save yourself the aggravation and stay AWAY from National Floors Direct.
