When we sold our last home of 34 years 6 years ago, there were some renovations that our Real Estate agent suggested to us to improve , and bring some of the rooms and flooring up to date. One of those was replacing our kitchen floor which was quite large. Over the years, we had replaced it three times with different types of tiles, or other flooring. However it was now time to really upgrade. We decided to go with Armstrong Flooring. We shopped around other tile companies, and ended up purchasing our beautiful Tile flooring thru Lowes in the city we reside in. Their representative came out and measured our space and within a week we had a beautiful Armstrong featured tile throughout our kitchen. WOW 🤩 it looked great and really complimented our new kitchen cabinets that we had just put in. Our buyers for the house really liked the floor and commented to me it would have been something and the style she herself would have picked out which made me feel good. Armstrong Floors has a floor for every income, so don’t be afraid to check them out. We sure are glad we did.

I have installed about 1000 sq ft of Bruce Hardwood, a subsidiary of Armstrong. With any natural product, you are bound to get variations, so allow for 10% waste. With this in mind, variations are fine, but poor milling is another. Ranging from non-square end cuts, tapered slats and tongues, these sections are unusable, unless you recut them yourself. This definitely slows down the installation time. Overall, Bruce is a good product is readily available.

My wife and I picked out tile flooring for our bedroom. I wanted to install myself and the salesman was very helpful in advising me of all I needed to do the job. We found a great 24 X 24 inch tile that looks great and it was very affordable.

The Armstrong flooring tiles I put in the kitchen, utility room and bathroom of my present home have worn fine and have pretty much stayed put in the kitchen (with minor issues by the sink and refrigerator), but many have separated/moved in the other two rooms, especially in the bathroom, where two of them have come up at one corner of each and broken. To fix these issues, it will take a good cleaning, putting the tiles back down w/flooring adhesive, and (I believe) to keep them in place, about four brass brads/sm. nails will have to be hammered into the full tiles.

Purchased laminate flooring 20 years ago for a very fair price. It is scratch proof but does swell up at the seams when moisture is involved.
