The Good

  • Shaw Card
  • Indoor-Outdoor Carpet Selection

Shaw Card

The Shaw Card is a credit card offered by Shaw Floors. With the Shaw Card, Shaw Floors hopes it will help you have the purchasing power to get the floors you really want, finance without tying up other credit cards, have convenient monthly payments, dedicate a credit line to your floors, and avoid having an annual fee. Shaw Floors wants to work with you to ensure you get the floors you want.

Indoor-Outdoor Carpet Selection

Shaw Floors has an extensive line of indoor outdoor carpeting, which not all flooring companies offer. Indoor-outdoor carpet is a way to make outdoor settings more comfortable and stylish, but it is also meant to withstand the elements. Shaw has a many different options to choose from, so you don’t have to settle for an indoor-outdoor carpet that you don’t want just because it is not as easy to find.

The Bad

  • Locations Undisclosed
  • 25-Year Warranty

Locations Undisclosed

Shaw Floors does not disclose on their website where their products are sold, so it can be difficult to find the flooring if you are not familiar with what your local stores keep in stock. Shaw Floors does say they cover all 50 states, so the only problem you will have is finding a local store that carries their products.

25-Year Warranty

On average, Shaw Floors only offers a 25-year warranty, which is lower compared to other companies that offer lifetime warranties. If you are installing carpet in a house, be sure to consider how long you will be in the house and how long you want your carpet to last.

The Bottom Line

Shaw Floors is a company that has unique features including the Shaw Card and the indoor outdoor carpet. If you are looking for a company that has a different approach to flooring and don’t mind the lower warranty, then Shaw Floors is a good way to go if it is sold in one of your local flooring stores.

We installed Shaw Flooring in a portion of our basement about 10 years ago. The actual installation was a bit difficult, (click in system) but once the floor was in place it has held up and still looks wonderful.

Last Summer my husband and I tore out all of our carpet and put in a Shaw floor on our whole main level. We have loved how beautiful it looks and how it has held up. It's durable, easy to clean and looks beautiful.
