Mad Mimi boasts an intuitive and streamlined interface, and users and reviewers agree. Most find the dashboard easy to understand and operate. Mad Mimi allows you to only display the tools you use to keep the dashboard uncluttered. Mad Mimi's biggest selling points are their price and customer service-starting at just $10 a month for paid plans. Mad Mimi offers 24/7 email support and live chat during business hours. Their live chat representatives aren't hired from an outside company. You actually chat with business owners and developers who are both passionate and helpful.

The Bad

Since Mad Mimi focuses on streamlined looks and function, they do lose some advanced functionality that you may find with other competitors. Although the developers have improved the autoresponder tools and continue to make improvements, the functionality is still somewhat limited compared with other email marketing companies. The same goes for some of the reports. The free account isn't limited to a certain amount of time, but it does only allow you to have 100 subscribers. It also doesn't give you all of the support and tools that you get from a paid account. Free account does not include:

Mad Mimi offers customer support via email and chat only. There is no customer service number to call, although they recommend emailing to schedule a time for a phone call.

The Bottom Line

Mad Mimi is one of the cheapest options out there and still offers plenty of features. This is a solution that will appeal to those who like things streamlined-both in looks in and in function. And starting at $10 per month, Mad Mimi also provides solutions for smaller companies or even personal businesses in addition to big businesses. Using Google Analytics, Mad Mimi keeps you informed on how successful your email campaigns are and lets you know whether the money you spent on their product was worth it. And if it wasn't, they'll offer you a full refund making it pretty low-risk to give Mad Mimi a try and see if it works for your needs.
