MI apparently no longer honors warranty for replacement windows that were installed by builder in 2004 - never had a problem with replacement until this year. Cannot reach MI via phone number which only wants to give medical alert information; tried by email to no avail. Construction required 18 MI windows at a considerable expense - 5 were large arched windows. Do not use this company if you expect the warranty to be honored.

Ordered a whole house of windows, 18 total, less than 2 years ago through west shore. Absolutely the worst product!! Upon delivery 3 windows were bad- would not stay up due to the inner workings of the windows. Upon install 2 more windows were found to be bad by not staying up/open. And now 1.5years later we go to open an extra bedrooms window and it has THE SAME PROBLEM. I would NOT recommend this manufacturer to anyone. This has been the biggest headache- calls, appts, having to be off work to let west shore fix this manufacturers mess ups. Extremely disappointed in these windows.

1st set of 25 windows ordered through Window Nation installed in December, Most were damaged WN said they use MI and have to reorder 25 new windows (2nd time), for a replacement install of new windows and most of them are damaged as well or have bubbles in the paint. Rep from MI and WN came out a week ago, I had to reach out to them to get the resolution for this 2nd mess. I thought we would be high priority since we are now going on round 3 and they would be in contact constantly. To stay updated or have an immediate date of next step. We were.supposed to have a resolution sent for approval by myself and wife, beyond what is needed again. I am missing my family vacation/reunion because I have exhausted all my vacation time for this mess. We are at 6 months now and I have 2 wait again on windows thatbwere damaged and 2 they didn't even ship! Very unhappy and frustrated. Currently I will not recommend MI to anyone. I will not settle for touch ups either! 40k for windows and we are fixing forn the 3rd time. 6 months.....now looks like another couple months. Nothing like a year window project

MI Windows took over Milgard Windows and what a difference, Unlike Milgard the service at MI is awful, I waited 5 weeks to get a status on when one of my windows would be fixed. The reason I finally got a reply was because I filed a complaint with the BBB. The women at Customer service were so rude, you would have thought that the cost of the repair came out of their pockets. Unfortunately, I will probably have to deal with them in the future given that I got my windows(which are under warranty) from Milgard and MI purchased Milgard. I'm not worried because I will contact BBB again if it comes to that.

After almost 5 months of waiting our screen door was finally delivered in one piece or so we thought. The company sent the screen twice through the same company which arrived damaged both times. Than finally they had a member from MI "hand" deliver it to our home. Well he was in such a rush to get it off his truck I guess that he scratched the metal. Instead of waiting another month we decided to just let it be.

Built new house. All windows were MI. One leaked during storms. Called the supplier they said call MI. Dozens of phone calls, response was always send more pictures. Would never send a person to see my bad window. Terrible support after the sale.

75% of our 2014 windows have failed due to moisture in between the glass. Our whole neighborhood has this issue. Mi will not warranty because I am not the original owner.
