Very unhappy with NDR have not heard anything from them for 2 months creditors ringing phone off the hook. I was very misled on how these bills were to be paid nothing has been paid for over 2 months yet keep taking $450.00 out of my account most of the money goes for their fees not much left to pay bills this company is a scam artist. I guess I will have to file a chapter 13 to get the creditors off my back. Would never ever tell anyone to go with this company. I will have to give them a bad rating at the BBB poor business practices.

Do not go with this company. They will extend your program as long as they can and as long as possible so that they can charge you as much fees as they can instead of trying to help fix your credit. 1. Their fee is 21% of the enrolled amount. For example 10K balance, even if they settle it for 80%, their fees is 2,100, so you’re not really saving 20% on the settlement, you’re actually paying 100 more if you just handled it yourself in the first place. Think about if your credit card debt is 100K, their fees alone will be $21,000. On top of the maintenance fee on your account which ends up to be about $25 a month. 2. They don’t start contacting any of your creditors until you have enough funds accumulated, and when they finally make an offer to your creditor, they will take most of it for their fees first. 3. Their Gitmead legal representation doesn’t really do much. A judgment was obtained against me and I didn’t even know about it. The only reason why I found out was because I was contacted by an attorney trying to represent me for a fee. This didn’t just happen once, it happened twice. 4. On one of my account, I called National Debt Relief that my creditor is planning on suing me and if they can prioritize that account. They never contacted that creditor. I ended up getting sued and eventually I had to borrow money from family and friends to take care of it on my own since they didn’t do anything about it. 5. Towards the end of my program, I have enough funds accumulated in my account. I called them on 04/26/21 to pay the remaining balance of my settlement. They told me that it takes 3 days to clear and that I had to pay the following month maintenance fees. On 05/03/21, I called them again to request a payoff, this time I’m told that I need to keep an additional $25 on my account in case the payoff is not approved. My payment schedule is 30th of every month on this account. Bottom line is, if you owe 5 or more credit cards and you go National Debt Relief, you are most likely to get sued, and since they don’t monitor your accounts, one day you’ll wake up that there’s a judgment against you. I originally had 7 accounts enrolled with them. I got sued on 5 of them. I eventually withdrew 4 accounts from National Debt Relief and settled the accounts myself. I was actually able to settle the 4 accounts for less than the settlement that National Debt Relief was able to get from my Creditors. Case and point, I had 2 Discover accounts. They got a settlement on one of the accounts for 40%. I was able to settle the other for 32.50%. On top of their 40% settlement, they charged me 21% of the enrolled amount for their fees. National Debt Relief makes it sound like they’ll be able to save you thousands. In the end, after all their fees, you’ll end up paying more than if you just called your creditors directly. Don’t be scared to pick up the call from collection agencies and creditors, you’re better off dealing with them directly than dealing with them through National Debt Relief.

Excellent. They settled my accounts quickly and efficiently. For at least 50% reduced amount but sometimes more than 50% reduction. Friendly and available when needed.

I've been using this for a little over a year now. My credit score hasn't improved at all. I set everything up before the pandemic and now I am drowning. I've tried to contact them about my situation changing but they haven't gotten back with me. I don't know if I would have went this route if I had to do it over again.

The last proposal I received was a very good offer. I knew I couldn't accept the offer, but the agent who was helping me, made things happen. He talked to his Supervisor and told me that the Supervisor made it happen. I was very happy .

I like the approach they use to help people get debts paid off. They take the time to explain processes and every step they are in during each process.

I worked with NDR for over 20 months and they were "unable" to settle a debt. Turns out they never responded to the creditors 3 offers. After I quit NDR and called the creditor I was able to work out a deal that was appropriate NDR did not return phone calls or emails. My other debt was settled within 4 months. They paid the creditor $l.00 a month and my charges for the $1.00 was higher than that. After 22 months I was no where near finishing this program even though I had been sending $488 in a month and was actually ahead in my payments. I had been told the program would take a total of 26 months My credit is ruined and NDR is a joke. I would recommend working on your own with your creditors. NDR's fees will always be subtracted from your account every month but they will not be working for you.

I love that they keep me informed both with email and text messages in a timely manner. Everyone I have spoken with has been extremely supportive and helpful.

Administraters are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, professional and really seem to care about their clients on a personal level, not just a file on someone’s desk

They did a great job settling my debt I saved a decent amount of money. PLEASE BEWARE! You will get charged a settlement fee of $4700 and it is written in your contract but that fee is part of what you will owe in total.

They have been great, no surprises as they tell you what to expect on the very first call. They provide you with all the info you will need to succeed.

During the time of quarantine, I had emailed my advisor and asked for assistance because I had 5 college age and 2 high school age students living with me. I never heard back or was contacted. I feel as if during this time, National Debt could have worked better with me.
