I only had a couple things on my credit I've been working on myself. When I signed up I explained everything and told them I would give them 60 days to see something. They were up front, and did their best and in the end only charged me for the work from the first month. It wasn't what I wanted, but I thought I would share that they were a standup company.

Great service. After you get started it's smooth sailing. I had a little hiccup in my service just because I missed their beginning emails. I would say just make sure you add them to your safe sender or contacts list...that's what they did with me and I had no problem then! Great service though.

I put them to the test since I had pretty much zero credit history and what little i did have was bad. After I started I spoke with a really sharp person with the credit people who explained everything about credit to me (a 45min call). I started about 5 months ago and my credit is 10x better than it was then. They did a great job all around.

I have been using The Credit People for about 6 months. So far they have repaired or deleted 7 of 15 negatives from my Equifax report. The success has not been as great for my TransUnion or Experian reports but repairs happen at different times for different reports. I'm very confident that the next 6 months will put me right where I need to be!

In reviewing your account, we do see a negative account has come off all three reports (you mentioned there hasn't been anything done but that is a good thing and does help your reports). This can be viewed on your online dashboard which we offer 24/7 access to or you can simply contact our Customer Support and we can review that with you over the phone or via chat. We know the credit system is frustrating and unfair to consumers, so we do everything we can to fight against the bureaus and creditors to get any positive progress possible. While we can't guarantee what will come off your reports since it's not entirely within our control what is reported on your credit and does also depend on what is legally accurate or not, we are actively working on your account and doing everything we can for you to get more positive progress. Our most recent disputes were sent out just 12 days ago so there is recent activity on your account and we have been regularly working on your account since you signed up with us.

Hi Walter, We do appreciate your feedback, and we are sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience. Our cancellation policy is you can continue for as long as you'd like or cancel at any time. Therefore, when you request to cancel, your account is canceled that day. Sadly, a month for credit repair is not enough time to see results. There is a lot that goes into the dispute process in regards to us drafting dispute letters specific to your accounts, the bureaus then investigating those accounts with your creditors, they then update your reports with those results, and we can then start to see some positive progress at that time. So usually you would start to see some progress in about 60 days. If you ever change your mind and would like to continue the process, we would be happy to have you back and work on clearing up your reports and increasing your scores. We hope you're doing well!

It took 3 days to finally hear back from The Credit People, but I'm now finally signed up. If y.ou're over 90, you cannot sign up on line because the birth date year only goes back to 1927. If you're born before then, you have to speak to a customer service rep...which can take a few days before you hear back. Hopefully the credit repair service goes faster than it takes to sign up if you're over 90.
