I use Credit Karma to keep an unofficial eye on my credit score. Having this service available has allowed me to better manage and improve my credit score on my own. I have also applied for two credit cards through CK and it is very accurate on your approval odds for the cards it recommends. I love how it helps you to compare different cards and how they might best benefit or hurt you in one place. You can also use CK to contest things on your credit records and they keep you updated throughout the whole process if you dispute through them.

I really like Credit Karma. I have even used them for submitting taxes online the last couple years, because it's FREE! The four stars instead of five is for the following: I tried to set up a savings account with them, but it never would link to our bank properly, even though I followed all their instructions. I contacted customer service, and they never were able to resolve it. I guess Credit Karma is good for just a couple things: checking your credit, and taxes (did I mention it's FREE!)

I get alert emails informing me of anything that affects my credit. When I want a quick look at my balances on my accounts, they're listed and I don't have to login to each account. They give a fairly reliable credit score. I wish they would go back to being able to refresh each account to get the balance as of that day.
