Our family got the Amazon card a few years ago and it has been amazing! Especially when COVID hit, we did a lot of online shopping. To get rewards for our everyday purchases was awesome! And to know it was backed by VISA was helpful too! We haven’t had any issues which is great. We still use this card monthly for our family needs.

The Amazon Store Card is very useful. I discovered a surprising use when I had gift cards with small amounts on them. Visa or MasterCard gift cards with small amounts or even just change can be added to Amazon. No more wasting gift cards.

With Amazon, you get charged when the item ships versus when you pay so sometimes there is an unknown charge but with the credit card, it is much easier to track my charges.

VERY high interest rates. I tried to use a different card for Amazon purchases, but when I use the Amazon car, merchandise always arrives more quickly. My advice is to pay the balance off every month. Otherwise, you could pay 25% interest or more!

Some hiccups with some vendors/sellers going thru Amazon. No longer getting stuff quickly. Several times items were returned to seller without ever being delivered to us in the first place. Some returns were credited to a gift card rather than back to our Amazon card.

I signed up with a prime card so i get my packages the next day and so i don't pay to ship. LATELY, they do not send packages the next day and they now say certain companies don't participate with prime. I am not sure if that is prime cards' fault. But I will say Amazon's. Prime card stopped the charges from going through have also had a problem with people trying to use my Prime card illegally through Amazon. But I will say Prime card did stop it from going through. Also took all charges off that I did not make. Like I said I am not sure if its prime cards fault or Amazon. Amazon is not so cheap anymore either,

This is the Christmas card. We love the convenience and rewards, and we also have the Chase. We try not to carry a balance but they're not the worst. Pre-internet, store cards were prevalent as well. Just don't bite off more than you can chew, because interest exists.

Love this card. It is easy to use and the cash-back is wonderful. It would be nice if the cash-back offers were all automatic. They require a "click" so you have to pay attention to notices. The benefits of this card are numerous. If you are on the fence - you should get this card, it is a favorite of mine.

I signed up for this card to instantly save $200 off on a new ceiling fan. That was great. However, without asking me, Amazon instantly removed my default credit card and installed their Prime card as default payment method. I didn’t appreciate that at all. Chase bank is who runs the Amazon Prime card and when there are issues, you wind up dealing with both Chase Bank and Amazon as well. It can get complicated.

Yes, cash back is great. They also have no interest payment options for certain items. Still 25% interest is insane. I don't use it much and when I do I pay it off quick. It can come in handy and put a little cash in your hand if you are smart. Still, as with every credit card, be careful, it is real easy to lose control and end up with a crazy payment.

I have had this account for quite a while. It has it's perks, but nothing to write home about... I do appreciate every once in a while I will see that I have enough accrued to apply to my next purchase. It's attached to my Amazon account, so I don't have to worry about inputting payment info or anything when I want to purchase from Amazon.

It is a very convenient card to have handy, but after a while, the interests become a bit high if principal is not paid completely. On the other hand, it offers the convenience of Amazon Prime, which accelerates the shipping process. It is just that the amount paid for the membership is a bit high.
