The call center is no help. You're lucky if they even understand you, and vice versa. If you ask for a supervisor, you just get stuck on eternal hold. If you send an email, you just get an automated response saying they received it. NO follow-up, EVER. The online chat is like talking to a defective robot that doesn't even read your messages. And the next business day after I had the nerve to complain, my phone stopped working. They claim that's a coincidence, but there's nothing they can do and I have no choice but to buy a new phone. They are OFF THE CHARTS SLEAZY.

I qualified for the free phone and "unlimited" data plan from qlink wireless because I participate in a low income government program. I also received the $10.01 tablet, actually the tablet is not bad, both of them of course are the cheapest thing they'll send you but what can you expect for free? Just make sure your phone is unlocked if you want to use the sim in your own device instead and it's no problem. The only issue I had was the fact that qlink lies about you having unlimited data, the way this works is I thought since I had unlimited data that I could use all I wanted but this is an out and out lie by qlink, after 3 or 5 gb it slowed down and things started not to load, this got worse until I reached 27gb and they disconnected me totally, when I called customer service I was then told that if my usage was "excessive" I would be disconnected until the first day of the month which I indeed was. Luckily it was on the final week when they cut me off before the first of the month, I was not able to go to job sites or pay my bills or do anything. The representative would not state what they call excessive usage. I filed a formal complaint with the FCC about the deceptive wording by qlink wireless but I'm not holding my breath to hear anything.

Ridiculous. How can Qlink Wireless receive a rating of 7.0 when there are only 5 STARS? That would 128.57% Impossible to get more than 100%. The FCC won a large financial verdict against them for stealing people's ACP $ 30 a month credit. People were using it for their whole home unlimited internet bills of $80 per month. Qlink stole those Emergency Broadband Benefits for years. Do not believe those positive reviews. I signed up for a free phone and a free monthly phone service. I received NO PHONE and LOST my ACP of $30.00 per month. I could have paid for a cell from anyone with that money. I purchased a $300+ phone from Motorola. My home Internet Benefit is what I wanted and needed. Qlink Wireless are crooks. Look at their website. Page after page of their website tries to fool you into clicking which will give the ACP benefit to them. When you don't click, they steal it anyway. Go to fcc.gov. See the lawsuit won against them.

I signed on with Qlink and was told my TCL phone would work with the sim card that they sent me. I put it in my phone and tried to activate it with a service representative on my girlfriend's phone and it it would not work on Qlinks network. I also had to take my phone apart to put it in and I shouldn't of had to do that. They claimed my old carrier had it locked out which was totally wrong because I called them several times and even had my phone inspected by a cell phone repair person and it was definitely unlocked. Qlink new I couldn't purchase a phone and tricked me into thinking their sim card would work knowing I would end up buying a phone from them to use their service. They are liable of deceptive business practices and were not honest with me on the sim card working in my phone. Now I have no phone service at all, and I'm shopping companies again. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!

Voice and text works. They throttle data and deny it. Customer service is extremely poor and technically incapable and just read off notes taped next to the phone to eliminate responsibility and accepting faulty network. My Issues with slow and at times dead connection never went to technical support and always was blamed on traffic, not so as I hit over 1.2 gig of data of my allowed 4 gig, and behold, connection is so bad that can't even connect to check email (gmail), cloud files (drop box) and many sites don't even load with connection errors popping and SSL issues as Qlink network is so slow that cannot process the handshake to establish connection. Yet, they keep announcing Qlink offers unlimited data. Sure, but one cannot claim unlimited water supply when after a certain time water is restricted to a few drops per minute and claim water is still running. Hard to believe the rating here is so high while at many other review sites and even at BBB, Qlink hardly makes it as even near an acceptable entity. Beware of questionable reviews

Worst phones EVER. I wanted a number transfer. The small print says 5 days after reviewing phone to transfer my number or I'd be charged for the phone. Q link transferred my number immediately leaving me with no phone for a week. Then then sent me a broken defective for and the tablets low quality and super outdated. Can't even use it for my kindergarten schooling. Then they refused to release my number back to my old provider and gave my original carriers such a nightmare I had to give up a number I've had over 5 yrs bc this awful company

I have never been so frustrated, nor had my time wasted in this manner. The simple easy approach to hanging your number over is a scam and I've wasted in the double more than 8 hours of my time. And the best and worst thing is how it kept repeating while on hold for hours how very it was to switch your number. My carrier unlocked my phone and provived a transfer code and sent me a few goodbye emails and texts but q-link kept saying there was a problem with my zip code when the activating directions say nothing about a zip code soi go to my current carrier and q-link and they both have matching zip codes for me. So I go to chat online with someone and they said I needed to call the customer service number so...tell me what they are there for?to waste your time of selling them the problem only to be redirected again so I call the number and they say my wait time is 80 minutes....yeah I said that right. I have now been on hold 2 hours and 30mimutes and they still say I have 78 minute hold time so I'm there world 1 minute equals one hour and they keep repeating how easy this is supposed to be I'm done.. finding another company. I was supposed to have my number switched over by midnight tonight and after 3 days total and no results my service ends at midnight with no switch over. So I with pay for my service plan again which I don't have or I wouldn't be writing this review in the first place or lose my number. How messed up is that when it's there error and my time nothing but wasted too frustrated to continue in arkansas ...

You thought I was dumb and would leave a 5 star review. When you click on 4 stars, you are brought to this site. If you click on 5 stars, you are taken to a site called sitejabber dot com to leave a review. If you click on stars 1, 2 and 3 you are taken to a SurveyMonkey survey that nobody gets to see except QLink Wireless. I know this because earlier I was going to leave a 5 star review, but had to tend to other things so I closed the page. After receiving 4 more emails, 2 of which woke me up; I clicked on 3 stars and thought "WTF? That isn't the page I was on before." For waking me up in the middle of the night and being shady at soliciting reviews, now you get 1 star here and on the other site. I hate shady companies and that is shady af. Service is great, company shady. I have read reviews elsewhere stating they block you on Facebook for criticizing them or asking questions. I do Google Reviews too, and since you guys just emailed me AGAIN while writing this review at 5:23am and again at 5:25am I will be leaving the same review over there.

If I could would give them negative stars. Worst customer service ever. Twice in a year and half and they have just deleted my number with active service. Was on phone during job interview and phone just goes dead. Took three days to get ahold of an actual person only to get hung up on! Finally after about a week was told by one rep that it was deleted from system by rep that hung up on me. After my call was disconnected. That was last year. So had to get a new number and the number the deleted I had for four years and ported it from boost. Then two days ago they deleted my number because I was going to port it to a different carrier. Reason being no service inside my house now. Been in same place for 30 years however couple months ago my service just stopped working. Same phone turns out their trying to force people to upgrade to new phones and new network. When i first switched about closer to two years ago it took about a month to actually get phone service to work. And never did get my free phone or tablet. They lie and they are fraudulent and deceitful and could care less about their customers! If u like having active service and dependable company. This isn't the one. They are incompetent and just overall horrible! Now I have to get another new number and all the work and personal stufff that has to be switched not to mention all the calls I have missed and the customers I have lost. Can't even get into my bank accounts PayPal because of the security measures! Can't verify identity without my phone service!

This is the crappiest of services I wish i coud give more negative stars than the human mind could actually process bc this is the biggest joke to ever be produced. Got just the sim card first, my phone was compatible, and IT NEVER WORKED!!! I Went like a month with not having the ability to use a phone. Whether i was home (in the sticks) or in less popular areas of town, higher populated areas, inside or out side of Walmart, 10 minites from home or 2 hours from home I NEVER HAD SIGNAL and it took a month to finally be able to contact customer service who at first told me nothing was wrong... Then i was told that towers for my area were down and the problem could last between 3 weeks to months and theres nothing to be done. Then they said they would do a network reset and it worked for a few days then back to nada. So this time i just sign up for the phone and tablet deal with the bring your own number. I get them and at first im relived bc im getting excellent service, then begins the new horror show. HAS NO BATTERY LIFE!!! I turned the phone off, let it charge fully for 2 days(forgot about it,,) and when i turned it on IT DRAINED 37% BATTERY LIFE JUST FROM STARTING UP!! The battery won't even last a full hour with me not using it at all... Sitting there starting at 100% and not being used, phone locked., No apps opened or used in background, nothing.. wont last an hour. Again reached out through emails and no one will reapond to any of the 5000 support emails i send. Get in touch with someone who basically says it's not their problem its hp serrano hot peppera issue. Get ahold of those people and all they can do is send a new battery. It\s been 2 or so months and nothing. Phone won't even turn on. Started using the tablet and first few days are great. Going a month and every day gets worse. Battery life is pure trash, the lag/drag/delay is horrendous, i dont get notifications, majority of my apps flat out will not work at all. I dont even have games bc i dont care for them and don't need them, i barely have any apps and even went through and deleted apps that were already on the tablet, i constantly clear cookies,/cache and still works like crap and getting worse. I know i should be grateful bc its free, but its like starving to absolute death, on deaths door step bc youre so hungry and some one offers you an abundance of free food only for you to realize its a crap SANDWHICH BUFFEE. Just how grateful can i be for this crap sandwich phone service. Customer service is a joke. The entire program is a joke. This is a government program, you mean to tell me that this is your best? I bet if they had to actually use this they would fix it real fast. Why bother though? They aren't getting stranded in the middle of no were until 4 am with 2 little girls bc their car broke down and ALL THEY HAVE IS A crap SANDWHICH PHONE SERVICE THAT WON'T HELP. Thanks for being absolute trash and putting me through heck in a poorly wooven hand basket made of poop. You guys just throw the cheapest crappiest worthless piece of junk to us and expect us to jump with glee snd show every punce of gratitude we have.? So sad. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves

If I could rate this GOVERNMENT cellular company no stars or rate it in the negatives I would. This company is so money greedy to its ashamed and shouldn't have any accountability of service. Their top up plans are overated, over charged, and outrageous plus they charge for every single assistant provided. I have been harassed by numerous calls & text and when I asked if I could get my number changed they insisted that I pay $5. There is no grace, exception, or exemption within their policies for customers that very much need assistance neither are there any services rendered for 0 customer satisfactory service & support. Even their review question ask if your a paying customer. SMH All this company want is your money when their supposed to be providers for the low income community. With these type of procedures it won't be long before all their competitors take all their business. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND GOING ELSE WHERE BEFORE CONSIDERING THEIR BUSINESS.

Trustpilot reviews Trustpilot Thanks! Your review counts. You reviewed Q Link Wireless Darrin Dennis Vavricka 0 reviews US Rated 1 out of 5 stars QLink's Unlimited lies… QLink cellular service boasts "Unlimited talk, text and data for free." This is of course, if you qualify. So how do they make money?I used my own phone and kept my old # so I can't review that part but what I do know now is this: Unlimited data is a scam. I guess technically it's possible but you can't use more than 1GB per day. In fact if you get close to 1GB they will slow your bandwidth down to barely useable. Now if you're like me and don't have wifi then forget about this company. If you go over 1GB in a 24 hour period they will stop your access to data and the internet completely. That's right! Not slow it down, but shut it down! You can still use the phone and text but nothing else. They never tell their customers about this scam, so that way we call them looking for answers. A automated message will lead you around and around as you probably expect and then places you on hold for 30 minutes and up, if you get that far. If you decide to check your balance the message says you still have all of your "Unlimited data, talk and text" available. When you do reach a human, it's likely they are not local and the accent is difficult to understand. But with patience they will verify your identity, sometimes asking the same questions 3 times, before they tell you their hook. You have used to much data and you must purchase more. So how much have you used and how much fo you need? Well they don't know that answer or they won't tell you. So what happened to "Unlimited?" But don't worry because they have wonderful pricing and you can purchase bundles or just data alone for only $15 a gig. But tomorrow you'll have to buy another, then another and so on till your next billing cycle starts again. So if you use your "Unlimited data" they will and do, take it from you so you have to pay them ridiculous amounts to get through the month. Way over what your current phone bill is, I'll wager. Basically you could imagine having "Unlimited data" but only if you never use any!

Q Link is a good service for people that can't afford cell phone service plus all the bills that come in life but as far as it being good service in general it is not the phone works when it wants to or should I say the internet service works when it wants to the phone and text messages work when they want to most of the time that I look at my phone I'm having to see emergency calls only at the top of my screen my service as in my data will be out I always have an alert sent to me even after it's been refilled and it usually doesn't work unless I'm connected to a Wi-Fi somewhere when you called I try to get help you always get someone you have a hard time understanding and asked to speak to somebody else they refuse to send you anywhere else instead they stay on the phone and they will argue with you because no matter what you say or do they feel they are always right on everything I went for a week almost a week and a half actually without any kind of phone or Internet and called and called to try to get it resolved and nothing ever worked until finally one day a phone call I made I don't know what they found or what went on because I got no explanation or any kind of thing they are all I was told was your phone will be back on in 2 days. So based off anything I say anybody can take this or leave this but this is my honest and true opinion about q Link yes it's great for anybody that can't afford cell phone service due to the cost of living today bills miles to feed Etc cell phone is the last priority so this definitely helps with that said I leave this for anyone to judge for thierelves.

Was extremely happy with my service prior to when I was FORCED to change my phone number because I responded to an email I received saying that I needed to re-apply because my service was cancelled. Upon doing so, I received a new SIM card in the mail a few days after, and long story short, my phone number/SIM card had been deactivated and I was forced to take a NEW phone number! That was extremely frustrating because literally EVERYTHING associated with a phone number for my ENTIRE family was attached to that number! 😡😤🤬 It still upsets me and I STILL haven't been able to fix some things associated with that number because of it! When I called customer service, I was told that there wasn't anything they could do even though my service ended up being "transferred", it was from qlink to qlink, so I don't understand WHY I was forced to change my number! If it weren't for that issue, I would give qlink 5⭐'s. . .

Started to sign up for free govt phone and minutes. I didn't realize until I signed up and was directed to pick out a device that you have to BUY a device from q link to use the free service. This was a deliberate deception that I feel was intentionally set up to mislead people into believing they would get a free phone and minutes. It was DELIBERATELY set up to suck people in and then FORCE them to make a 30 odd dollar purchase from qlink to actually be able to use the free benefits. The REAL benefits are to qlink, as they pay NOTHING to give the free minutes. The govt reimburses them and qlink FORCES you to buy a phone from them to use the minutes. Horrible predatory practice intentionally set up to mislead customers into HAVING to purchase a phone from qlink so qlink can make a profit at the expense of vulnerable poor people. You CAN get a free phone and cellular service, LOOK ELSEWHERE. The ONLY reason qlink comes up FIRST on search engines is because they are making a PROFIT at your expense and are willing to pay advertising and get into your face to LIE to you about what they are doing so they can trick you into signing up with them and then FORCING you to make a purchase. FFFF qlink.

This company sucks. First they told me I was in their service area and turns out I wasnt. Then they sent me their SIM card. I explained to them when I signed up that I didn't get paid so it would take me a couple wks to get set up and they kept telling me I was gonna lose my gov. Benifits. Then their pr I've of devices went from free to 10.50 to 24.95 to 34.95. I ended u o havi n g to buy a $35 phone because I couldn't get they to their customer service. I never got the free phone or the tablet and when I got the phone I bought I found out that I did not get their service so I got stuck with a phone I couldn't use. I felt totally scammed and they never made it right.

"Unlimited data" is completely false advertising. What Qlink really means is that they consider unlimited data to mean 30 gigs a month and for some people only 10 gigs a month. There are no asterisks next to their claim to validate or explain this and nowhere even in the terms of service does it say this. The government (meaning all of us who pay taxes) pays for this service which means tax payers pay for it so that through EBB program they can have unlimited data for things like Zoom schooling, checking health charts, etc, etc. They do not even throttle down your speed, they cut data off completely and then want you to pay RIDICULOUS amounts like 30 bucks for 1 gig of data or the like. This is what's known as "bait and switch". The owner did only 8 months of jail time for getting in an argument with his grounds keeper and then running him over with his car, if that's any indication of who you are dealing with! Don't forget the raid on the Qlink wireless headquarters last year by multiple federal agencies for other scamming they do. Assurance, Safelink and other companies at least tell you up front that your unlimited data is in fact completely limited. I have a feeling this bestcompany website here is possibly shilling for them but I cannot say for sure. I will know if this review keeps disappearing. Notify BBB, FBI and anyone else that will listen!

Customer service is very slow. Alright I had to update as of March 31st 2022. I guess I needed an updated new phone too. First of all got a new SIM card put in the old phone nothing. Took forever to get a hold of someone in customer service. When I got a hold of someone in customer service she was real rude to me. New SIM card did not. She rudely said you got to a new cell phone for at least $35. I tried couldn’t get a new cell phone because you have to send prove of how much you make a year, social security card , I’d card well I haven’t heard anything back from Q link and no new phone. I got a Gmail from qlink I need to get re reapproved for free phone service I’m like what ?! I’m sitting here with no cell phone service new SIM card that don’t and no updated cell phone! I’m pissed and I send proof numerous times to qlink just too have free phone service. I can’t be hanging and waiting without a phone I had to go elsewhere buy a 60 dollar phone. $20 monthly plan. Qlink doesn’t help their customers and customer service is horrible. Thanks for cutting me off and leaving me hanging. Qlink never ever again:(😡😡😡😡😳

Wow..seriously.. I have been on the phone at least 4 times with people today. I applied because I needed the service, which I had no problem. Within 48 hours I received the SIM card. Now, they asked for information to confirm that my phone was compatible before sending. So, I put the SIM card in and it says "invalid SIM card", so I call the 888 number, but wait... I couldn't call from the phone, because it stated " cellular network not working "... I put my old SIM card back in and call, they go through this whole sales speil, they won't listen, I already have signed up, already approved, they sent me a SIM card, that says it's invalid.. Go through all the talk again about what is happening.. Then they tell me to call the 305#.. Seriously?? As I stated, I called like4 times, " their recorded, check it out ".. 4 times listening to rude people Not Listening!! Each time they said same things, have to listen to their speil.. I asked for a supervisor, was hung up on.. So, still no help..still can't use the SIM card..and they could care less.. I just want to have phone, without issues..

The worst decision I ever made it’s been a complete disaster I was without a phone for a month and a half because I partially fill out the qlink info to switch to there Mickey Mouse “company” but never completed it because it wouldn’t allow me to switch my adress. I emailed called left msgs saying hey I don’t want your service I can’t change my adress don’t send me a SIM card. I never could get a response so I never submitted the changing of service. I found out straight talk a tremendous company had the same assistance program and it was quick easy and on my way everything perfect then all sudden my phone won’t work. Qlink ported my number anyway and sent the SIM card to wrong adress. They are a disaster I saw their name and best company next to each other so I had to let everyone know that is not the case

All the negative reviews are bc 1. It took months to get the tablet. I paid $20 for their basic obama type phone min storage and internet on that phone you can forget it. Then the tablet finally comes. And not even kidding ive tried to get it just on basically running and signed into google 2 weeks now. It literally type a letter to a word no lie 1-2 mina if it doesnt respond and ask to close the app or wait which takes another 10 -15 mins to start over or wait. Theres no sense. In even making junk like that. The money wasted in millions of them as well as mailing. Etc etc. This is insanity and waste or peoples time and money. Derelicts!

Few days after my application was approved, they notified me that there was an error in the information that I provided them. I fix it, but they continued insisting on the error. After fixing it about four times I noticed that the error was not my fault—someone else or the application system itself was changing my info. To solve that problem the last representative that attended me asked me permission to cancel my account, for me to reapply without mistakes—when the mistakes were not done by me. In that process they got from me my social security number and copies of my ID card, birth certificate, and Medicaid card. Now I wonder if it was all an identity theft scam.

This tablet does not work. Also, the sim card was not ordered with the phone so I will not have the normal 14 days to test it. Since I have to decide without the Sim card and the phone doesn't work without a sim card; it will have to be returned. The customer service is terrible. I called Q-link for help and the guy told me to Google it. He sounded irritated that I expected a 100.00 tablet to work well. I know for a fact that 30.00 tablets work far better than this one. Charging the government and the customer a combined 100.00 for this tablet is just fraud. I want to return everything and switch my service to a different company. I need to cancel the service and I need a full refund on the phone.

Qlink is by far THE WORST phone provider on the planet. My service cuts in and out all day. I miss calls, texts don't come through, texts don't go out, the internet is just about useless because it disconnects every 12 seconds. I have to put my phone in airplane mode to "kick start" the internet. Picture messages are not even gonna happen, don't ask. Their service is so frustrating I spend more time trying to get my worthless phone to connect than I do actually using it. I would not recommend them to anyone unless you're trying to get fired from your job, or have a lot of friends that you REALLY want to avoid contact with. When you really need the phone all you get is an X where the bars are supposed to be. Worst phone company ever. I've tried multiple phones, ordered new sim cards, it's their shoddy service and not on my end. I live IN TOWN. Yet have service like I'm in a iron bank vault 300 feet underground. Trust me, DON'T USE THEM. Furthermore, they get government funds to distribute preexisting services. They don't provide, so they are pretty much leaching off the government, stealing money. Shame on qlink!!! And customer service is absolutely nonexistent. The idiots they put you on the phone with know less about phones than they do about the English language. Just terrible, unreliable, dishonest. The free tablet deal is a scam as well, they send tpu a "free tablet" then send you a bill for it!!! Not even joking! I hate qlink!

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been waiting almost a year for my new phone and tablet. The phone I currently have through them broke so I called in May 2021 and the rep told me my new phone and tablet will be mailed any day. Well it's November and I just called again only to be told that the promotion is over and I would not be receiving a phone. She said I have to now buy a phone. I asked why am I not receiving it because I have been waiting and got approved for promotion. She said there are a lot of people that won't be getting a phone now but that I would still be getting the tablet that's on backorder. I am so disappointed and will be seeing if I can go with another provider

I've was with Qlink wireless since 2014 until today 11/9/21. I got unlimited texts, 1g data and 1500 mins of phone service contracted under Sprint. Which really sucked unless you were standing under a Sprint tower there were No Bars but unlimited texts worked out for communicating with my daughter . 2018 the spam calls started an unbelievable amount of calls I would return the call and I would get" sorry you have reached a number that is not in service blah, blah, blah Got to the point where I barrowed a phone from a friend to use until I received a email in March that Qlink was sending me an upgraded phone w/sim card service contract with T-Mobile was on its way to me here it's November 2021 and they sent me a sim card no phone but I can purchase a phone What? Hell no .I counted today in the past 6 weeks I have added 281 spam calls to my black list of blocked numbers . I told them no way they can cancel my service then I read this article- "Q Link Wireless, a provider of low-cost mobile phone and data services to 2 million US-based customers, has been making sensitive account data available to anyone who knows a valid phone number on the carrier’s network, an analysis of the company’s account management app shows." story continues ... Well no wonder I got all those spam calls . I am no longer a customer of Qlink wireless . I would check out any other wireless company other than QLink whos customer service sucks and do not care about their customers!!!

Ignore that 1 star. In April 2021 I received email to confirm address to receive free phone and sim card for upgraded network. I did so and received order confirmation. Q link never fulfilled that order and it disappeared from my account after 3 months. July 2021, received another email again requesting address confirmation to receive free phone and sim card. I did so and received 2nd order confirmation and again Q Link did not fulfill order and order disappeared from my account. October 2021, received email notifying my that my phone will no longer work after Dec 15 and i need to again confirm my address. Only difference this time is that they expect me to buy a phone. I have been with Q Link for five years and never had a problem. However If Q link thinks that I am going to buy a phone after they twice defaulted on a contract (which is what an order confirmation is), and while under FCC, FBI investigation, they should instead start thinking lawsuits. Next step, FCC complaint and after that, new lifeline provider.

I was told I was to receive a upgraded 5g free in mail also broadband deal which consists of free tablet . I did all required and Q Link wireless continued to inform it's in mail. Or going to send off. For a whole entire year I waited. They has cut my service off phone I had and put on phone I was waiting to receive. So in process, I'm waiting without any phone at all. I am disabled and money has been very scarce. I has been still looking for employment using that phone. I lost communications with a lot of social and business. I was lost. They continued to tell me its cuz of "covid.". Now finally I call final time and I'm told the" gimmick " expired now I get no free phone no upgrade I have pay for one. And I was offered broadband tablet again. ITS A GOVERNMENT PHONE. IT'S FOR OUR ASSISTANCE!! Even when I was with tmobile they honor their word ,offers deals. It's wrong I'm angry and I have no phone. I'm sure the government donr honor this treatment. Come on now stop bullcrapping people. You never gave me my first upgrade. A Lie. You trying to rob people and receive your tax write off. Government codes. Signed angry mistreated hoodwinked bamboozled by Q Link phonless melissa. I demand little respect . This is no better than racism it's just dealing with economic . To get to point Q Link did me injustice. If not or purpose I apologize. Yet it seems everything done to me was purposely. I would not speak these things just to do it. It really bothered me. And Iwas offended. I felt I was treated like I was stupid and a piece of dust to wipe off of table. I gave all respect, if I felt I didn't, I apologized. Just acknowledge and correct your mistake, please. We all deserve respect. Especially in these times. I'm trying to get back to working. Just do me right.

I wish I had actually read these reviews before signing up with Qlink. I have had a lifeline phone in the past with another company and had great service, so when I received a random email from Qlink, I decided to take advantage again since I was eligible again. I signed up May 2021. I used my own phone. I paid $100 to have it unlocked through a private party. Then, when I got there sim, the service was very sketchy and my voicemail was not working at all. After several calls and tickets, it took about 2 months before I was able to get working voicemail. All customer service reps I dealt with had heavy thick foreign (non American) middle eastern accents. I could not understand a word they were saying, especially since I'm hard of hearing. I kept getting passed around trying to find someone that could talk slowly and clearly enough for me to understand. I have received at least 50 text messages and 50 emails totaling 100, about signing up with the EBB benefits to get a free tablet, which I did. That was over 90 days ago. They keep telling me it's being shipped, but it's never come. I ended up switching my ebb benefits to ATT and got a cheap $50 Walmart tablet. Lastly, the actual cell services is TERRIBLE, the worst I have ever had, even back in the 90s my service was better than this!!! Constant dropped calls, calls that won't even go through to ring, and I am told that people call and call, but I never get any missed calls. It's ridiculous, I had to prove to my mother that I wasn't ignoring her, that it was my phone, by having her call me while I stood right next to her!!! It's awful! In my opinion, this is a foreign based company attempting to take advantage of American Government money. All I know is I will be transferring my lifeline service to another provider.

Qlink is a terrorist company. I went back and forth between customer and technical services, for almost 4 months. The details are the same as many of the negative posts here so I won't bore you with all that. *******LISTEN TO ME QLINK CUSTOMERS******* CALL OR WRITE THE FCC AND FILE AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT. They have a very easy online form right on their website. Once the FCC contacted Qlink and subsequently replied to my complaint. I had my new phone within a week. The harassing and nonsensical emails stopped. A knowledgeable customer service agent calls ME with helpful and useful information and issue fixes that work. FCC

DO NOT USE QLINK!!! I have been waiting for 3 months to get my new phone and SIM card. I have my phone order confirmation email and confirmation number from March 24th it is now the end of June! Everyday that I have tried to contact qlink wishing these last 3 months about my order they all say the same thing “your order will be shipped in 1 or 2 days” and STILL nothing has arrived I contact them at least once a week why has my phone and SIM card not arrived yet. Do not use qlink it’s you will never get your order. You will get the same response with no resolution, it will never get shipped out they just tell you it will while you wait for months and keep having to contact and not get your order. Find a better trustworthy company that cares to actually ship out your items dealing with qlink you will have no phone and no service. The worst phone company experience I have EVER encountered. I do not understand why they are still in business the low rating on the reviews speaks for itself.

Link Wireless is a SCAM to take the government money! Their internet service is nonexistent, it literally was loading between 147KB - 189KB when trying to open up the internet to find a phone number for a local business. It is impossible to reach their customer service, you will have to wait a minimum of 2 hrs on the line that’s if you get lucky, but more likely 3.5hrs, not even exaggerating either! Their phone service is awful also, I constantly get dropped calls and very difficult to talk to someone when their voice keeps cutting off, and they struggle to understand me before the call gets dropped, I’ve had it with this company, I don’t even know how they are allowed to continue to do business with just about every single customer being unsatisfied for one reason or another. They have been sending me emails and text messages about a free tablet they are giving out with some government broadband service/program and asking me to confirm my mailing address, and after doing so says wait for shipping tracking number which I never receive and the tablet is never delivered, instead I continue getting the same email/text asking me if I’m interested in a free tablet and to confirm my mailing address, every week or every other week since about February or March. Qlink Wireless needs to be investigated because clearly this is a money/profit motivated company with almost no concern or regard for its customers, or care to change anything. I’m leaving QLink, and just wanted to share my distaste with others to warn anyone considering choosing QLink as their free wireless phone provider, there are many other companies to choose from, and any one of them is a better choice!!

Q link is a complete joke. Dont waste your time. I have been trying to verify my info with national verifier for the past 2 weeks. But the link in my profile is not working. I chat with them online and they keep saying to do this and that over. News flash if it aint gonna work the first time than its not gonna work the 2nd, 3rd time and so on. And when you call I was on wait for a hour when they said it was only gonna be 10 mins. Than when finally someone answers and all they say is hi and never asks you why you are calling. Thats if you can understand their chinese english accents. They told me I had to cancel my service with Assurance Wireless to get approved with Q link so I did and I still havent gotten approved yet.

I'm giving QLink 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. THIS COMPANY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST! I needed a new phone as the old one stopped working. Naturally, I attempted to use the website to switch devices (this was at one point the most convenient way to make changes, and I'd done it before, so I figured it would be easy). I was able to 'successfully' verify that my new phone was compatible and order a new SIM card via the site. I expected them to stop service on my phone because they always do this when you're receiving a new SIM/device. I hate it but accepted it as just one of those things. Reading other reviews, I'm reminded of my initial rage seeing as this is RIDICULOUS. Still, I thought, It won't be long now. I can last a week without service. I'll have my new phone set up soon." WRONG!!! WRONG!!! WRONG!!! WRONG!!! A few days later, I received my SIM card. I ATTEMPTED to activate it using the guide sent with the card. The process did not work. About a week later I received an email instructing me to activate it or lose my benefit. I called in and went through the same process with the automated system and a live agent who was supposed to transfer me to a different department then hung up. IDIOT! The next call I made seemed to be answered by someone who was intoxicated or drugged. She literally could not talk (slurring her words) and passed out on the phone. I have attempted to call back multiple times over the past few weeks. I've been told by the automated system that my wait time was ten minutes, then one, then each time after, the call would be disconnected. I had already waited for three hours prior to this message on each call I made to them. Agents in the following calls are hanging up on us or simply need further training on how to use the system. I'm being sarcastic. They don't care and the government doesn't care either. I sent an email message detailing my ordeal and stated that if the card and/or phone does/will not work, it would be greatly appreciated and deemed more respectable and intelligent if someone would simply say so instead of being an unprofessional and lazy coward and hanging up the phone. So, thanks for NOTHING. These people are garbage!

BEWARE!!!! Q Link Wireless is NOT the only company that provides the Lifeline service there are other companies that also provide it...PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH AND WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT CHOOSE Q LINK THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND THEY ARE CROOKS !!!!!! This company has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I was with them for about 5 months First due to their incompetence I lost my phone number that I had for over 10 years...I ported my number then a few days later my phone was shut off with no notification they couldn't verify my benefits so instead of calling me they disconnected my phone I got it straightened out but ended up losing my number then several months later I decided to buy a phone from them because the phone I brought in was not working good then a couple of days later they shut my phone off AGAIN!!! This time I couldn't get in touch with customer service because the wait times were anywhere from 4-8 hours I was able to get hold of the online chat service and I was told that they disconnected my current phone to send the new one and they wouldn't do anything about it would have to wait for the new phone...that was 3 days!!! I am a fall risk and can't go without a phone that long I live alone and if I get hurt I need to be able to call for help so I did some research and found out that they are not the only company that provides this service so when I received the phone that I paid $119.95 for I just returned it to them unopened and went to a different provider.. TRUCONNECT ... I returned the phone on April 1st and I was still not able to speak with anyone at the customer service number but I found a different number in the sim card information that was sent so I called that number and was finally able to get in touch with someone for the first time in about 6 weeks ..they are claiming that they have not received the phone back and I have proof the phone was received on April 7th...they are refusing to refund my money even thought they have the phone I have contacted them 3 times and each time I get a new lie...THIS COMPANY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL I am only giving 1 star because 0 stars is not an option

QLink sent a 5G upgrade sim card for my Lifeline smart phone they sent me because I'm on SSI Disability. Once installed it states "Invalid SIM Card" on screen. I put the old card back in to be able to call. I called many times, got put on hold many hours (236 minutes once), finally the tech girl said they would update in a few days. They updated the phone to NOT work any more. Now, I have no service at all. This has got to be the most incompetent 'company' I have ever known. I filed a complaint with the FCC since our government pays these morons to provide service. Stay away from QLink. Run away.

Actually my phone was working fine until they forced me to upgrade to the 5G network now the phone does not work at all. I got the new SIM card and have spent so far 12 hours either on hold or talking to non-helpful people. Still does not work. Now the old SIM card does not work either. Currently on hold going into the 3 hour this time around as I type this. I am on Hospice and terminal. I need this phone fixed. They promised me a new tablet for upgrading. I better get it after all this crap. I may just order new phone and hope it comes with the 5 G. They say the 4 G will not work after April.

I don't even want to give a 1 star review, this company is paid by the United States government to provide service for low income individuals. So, with a signed contract with the government, they get paid an exorbitant amount of money to provide services to the people and they take that money and screw the people. Im supposedly on a no limit data plan and I only receive about 1M of data and the connection cuts off and resets. I was told by customer service that it's actually only 3G of high speed data and after that it is throttled. NOT ONE TIME HAVE I GOTTEN 3G OF CONTINUOUS HIGH SPEED DATA. I recently needed more data so I would not lose my connection, so I purchased the $60 UNLIMITED HIGH SPEED DATA BUNDLE, AND LOW AND BEHOLD, I'M GETTING THE SAME CRAP! Being on a very low fixed income, the loss of that $60 was a HUGE loss. We need to figure out how to turn these crooks into the agency that is paying these extortionists! This is unacceptable, maybe in Pakistan/India, or wherever this company is based out of its acceptable, but not here!

I have had this service around 3 years, then they wanted me to upgrade to 5G sim card. Well, okay, if they think I need to and can, why not? I get the card, and it says it's invalid even after going through all their "technical support on the phone which is not human or helpful for problems or questions", it would not update and it switched my number over to it even though I did not want that yet. I still got ZERO G and it still says it's an invalid card. I can't get any one to answer their phone to send a new sim card or to help switch me back to my old sim card and not sure if I messed it up to do that. The Facebook Qlink people should be fired for ghosting everyone that asks for help then ignoring them and deleting them like they do. It must be nice drawing a pay check off of impoverished sick elderly people and screw around with them too for fun like that. People are so mean and cruel these days and should not be in those types of positions to do that. NONE of their phones are capable of using 5G so BEWARE! You'd have to already have a 5G phone, and they are super expensive, and we wouldn't have the money for it, so this offer from them is a SCAM. It messed up on me; it probably will mess up on you too. Their lines are flooded with angry people with this problem, and that's why their record is slurring and stuttering and lagging so badly that it is nearly impossible at times to understand what it is trying to communicate.

QLink Wireless, provides LifeLine service to low-income Americans. I'd like to share what I went through so others may benefit from my experience. I would also like to note that QLink is changing its name to Hello Mobile. New name but assuredly the same horrific service. This entire matter started with a simple desire to move my QLink service from the very basic phone that QLink provides to my own phone. The following is what has transpired since I placed an order for a SIM card. On December 20, 2020, I called QLink customer service to inquire about QLink's BYOP (Bring Your Own Phone) program. Prior to calling, I confirmed that my BYOP phone was compatible with QLink's service. The QLink agent placed the order for the SIM card. On December 21, 2020, the order for the SIM card was processed and the service on my existing phone was terminated. QLink Customer Service NEVER advised that ordering the SIM would terminate my current service. I have lost valuable appointments because attempts to confirm those appointments were to my now terminated cellular number. As of January 8th, I still have not received the SIM card. Since QLink terminated my phone service, I had no way to contact Customer Service. As an alternative, I attempted to communicate with Customer Service via email. NONE of my emails received a response after several days. Even if I had a working cell phone, the wait time to speak with an agent is often in excess of 60 minutes. Desperate to have my phone service restored, I started to investigate QLink to try and find a phone number of someone that could help. I came across a number listed on a Facebook page for Quadrant Holdings. QLink is a subsidiary of Quadrant Holdings. Using the phone number listed, I was able to reach the Executive Assistant to Issa Asad. Mr. Asad is listed as the CEO of QLink. A woman by the name of Lucera (spelling?) answered the phone. She was kind enough to listen to my concerns. She acknowledged my concerns and agreed to investigate. One day later she called to follow up on my concerns to deliver some additional bad news. The SIM card sent wasn't even for my own phone. It was for the phone provided to me by QLink Wireless. Lucera informed me of another problem. The phone that I was told was compatible with QLink's Wireless network turned out to be incompatible with QLink's network. So in the end, all my efforts to move my QLink cellular service to my own phone were a complete waste of time. The only remedy that Lucera could offer was to send me a new QLink phone. After nearly two weeks without phone service, QLink made no effort to expedite the delivery of a replacement phone. Delivery of a new phone was estimated at 7-10 days. The lack of phone service has created many communication problems with health care providers. Why? Because QLink terminated my cellular service with any notification. On December 31, 2020 at 9:09 AM, I received a voicemail from Lucera at an alternative number I provided to QLink with a request to return her call. Of course, I had no way of returning the call using my own phone. The number Lucera provided was the main Customer Service number for QLink. When I called the number Lucera provided and asked to be transferred to her office, I was informed by the agent that he had no idea who she was and he no capability to transfer a phone call. Why would Lucera instruct me to return her call when in fact there was no way to reach her? Later that same same day at 1:06 PM, I received another voicemail from Lucera indicating that because I filed a complaint my service had been canceled. Most companies would take some measures to resolve the numerous failures I experienced. At the mere hint of a complaint, my service was canceled. Upon receipt of that notice, I attempted to move my LifeLine service to another company. My request was rejected because I was informed that I have LifeLine Service through QLink. Good riddance. QLink Wireless is an organization that is grossly incompetent. QLink has consistently failed at every step. The CEO has the audacity to boast about the pillars of excellence to which his companies strive to achieve. There is no excellence.... only incompetence. Issa A, the CEO of QLInks parent company, Quadrant Holdings makes a profit by engaging in predation on low-income Americans

QLink is junk...worthless...inferior network...Every month they slow down internet connection or just have crappy network all together. This has been going on for four consecutive months. They claim to provide 3 gig of free data but as soon as you hit around 0.6 gig, it is slowed down to a crawl. As a test, Browser download indicated 45 mb download would take 2 hours. Never try to apply for job or upload documents using QLink, never. Tech support is worthless, long wait and all is done turn it off...turn it on...take batter out...do a dance...once one of them was smart to reset something that took 24 hrs that did cure the issue but just once and every time I asked for it they refuse to admit it is their miserable setup and not the device. Stay away

Terrible Company! They do not provide consistent and true wireless service . The customer service is very bad when you call and try to get help. The representatives place you on hold for a long period of time and then you are transferred to a survey line to complete a survey. They do not provided you with free data service as they promise. You do not have coverage outside of your home. The coverage goes out once you move away from your home address. This service operates like a landline. DO NOT WASTE TIME SIGNING UP WITH Q-LINK. They are getting paid apparently by the government to offer free service and are taking advantage of vulnerable customers who are unemployed and can not afford a phone. CONTACT OTHER WIRELESS COMPANIES FOR BETTER SERVICE. I was suppose to get free service through lifeline since I am unemployed but Q-Link is not providing me with consistent service and I can not use my phone service with them when I leave my home as they promised I could. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!

Qlink provides a good service with its Lifeline program. However, Qlink has terrible customer service, they over charge for replacement phones, and they knowingly (allegedly) give false device specs on their website. I ordered a replacement phone and they moved my service to that phone and then proceeded not to send it to me. The whole story is more frustrating than that. For instance; when I received the phone, it was a refurbished model and not a new phone. I filed a dispute with my card company and a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. The result was I got to keep the phone I told them not to send after their severe ineptitude to attend the very simple situation; and I got my money back. My advice: don't ever buy a phone from the Qlink website and if you do, confirm that they don't move your service to the new phone until after it has been received.

NOT GOOD! Their left hand doesn't have a clue what their right hand is doing at that company. Fill out the application ,sent in all the required paperwork and wait, wait, and wait. Then your status says approved but nothing happens, so good luck trying to contact them by phone to see what 's wrong with the status of your account. If your lucky and can get through the automated complex answering system menu you may get lucky and finally get a operator which may not be of any help because you have a hard time understanding what they are saying in broken English. EMAILING THEM? Forget that! You keep getting a standard reply letter which tells you nothing. Bottom line the headaches to use their services is not worth it.

The Qlink furnished ZTE phone has a plastic touch screen and this should be avoided at all costs. Plastic touch screens can easily become inoperative when exposed to dirt and various solvents. My ZTE phone's touch screen completely malfunctioned and nothing could restore it. I was so upset that I took a hammer and smashed the phone to pieces! I went to AT & T and they explained that cheap phones have cheap plastic touch screens. High end phones like iPhone have glass touch screens and work so much better. Qlink wireless gave me about 10 GB for a hotspot. However, after every few hundred MBs, they stopped my service and requested that I add more data, even though I had several more GBs of data. They told me to reset my phone, but the problem never went away. When calling people, they often tell me that my voice fades in and out. This upsets me and the people I talk with. Customer service is lousy - I often can't speak to someone in customer service, and when I do, it's a foreigner that I can't really understand. Conclusion: QLINK WIRELESS BASICALLY STINKS!

My experience with Q link so far has been poor...i mean really bad. I dont even yet have the phone they provide because i recently applied, but it was impossible to get thru to customer service by phone. It took over an hour to muddle thru the application process. The web site just kept looping back to screens i had already completed...which is why i tried calling. Was unable to upload the documents required via the website. I am switching from Assurance Wireless because of dissatisfaction....which i used after dissatisfaction with Cintex. Seems all these Lifeline providers provide poor customer service and poor quality phone service. Another govt program being abused by corporate America!

After going around on the internet to find out what cellphones you accept., i buy one , call you so i can up grade, you tell me by email my phone is compatible and you have shipped a SIM card to my address for my new phone. great ! NOT !!!! ITS BEEN 8 DAYS ! oh BTW? you cut off my phone service the day after i applied for the upgrade !!! some life line !!! pft ! today the sim card was suppost to be delivered via UPS ???? I called them wondering where my package is ? the said they sent it to my local post office and i should get my sim card in 1-3 days !? i dont understand why you cut my service since i DONT have a sim card in hand yet?? also what really has me pissed to the hilt is trying to get in touch with a REAL, ACTUAL person , if that is even possible ! for this hassle and EXTRA cost , i could have stayed with boost for cheap. its gonna take me 2 years to recoup my investment in a new phone just to use your service.

Takes much too long to get assistance when you call customer service. No matter what time you call you're on hold for at least five minutes. A review should be the truth. Although my review may seem negative, it can be helpful to the company to address a problem.
