Warranty Plan Options

Elite Auto Protect offers auto owners three levels of warranty coverage protection plans: Basic, Plus, and Elite.   
The cost for each of these plans varies, and free quotes are available.  

  • Basic Plan — The Basic Plan is designed for vehicles with higher mileage and owners can purchase this coverage for cars that have up to 150,000 miles and 10 years old or newer. Its terms include coverage for costly repairs of the automobile’s engine, transmission, cooling and electrical system. 
  • Plus Service Plan — For cars outside of the requirements of the Elite plan, the Plus service plan is a great option. It covers pricey vehicle repairs including the heating and cooling systems, transmission, engine, steering, 4x4, AWD, steering system, fuel system, and ignition system.  
  • Elite Service Coverage — The Elite Auto Protect Elite Plan is this company’s bread and butter. It offers the most comprehensive automobile protection. It is designed for newer and lower mileage vehicles. The Elite plan offers vehicle coverage for an additional five years and 100,000 miles. This warranty plan includes repair coverage for ABS brakes, seals and gaskets, turbo and supercharge autos, and vehicle electronics.  

Vehicles do not need to be inspected to qualify for this warranty service as long as the vehicle is running fine on the day the warranty plan is purchased. Each warranty with Elite Auto Protect includes 24-hour roadside assistance, which covers towing, jumpstarts, fuel delivery, and lockout services.

Customer Service 

Elite Auto Protect has customer service representatives available 24/7. It also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on plans. Online reviewers appreciate the ease of being able to reach a live company representative at any time. 

Rental Car Benefits

Elite Auto Protect offers rental car service for all repairs that require five or more hours of labor. This is not standard and a great perk for those shopping for auto warranties.

The ordeal still wasn't great to go through and customer service could be improved. Every one i spoke with was pleasant enough but communication could be far better. Reaching a customer service rep shouldn't be such a challenge, and there could be more follow through. If you say there will be a follow up on such and such day there should be a follow up of some sort. If there are policies at play regarding the refund that should be communicated. At this point I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemies. Got some tires replaced and was told that if I send in a receipt I can get $100 back. Did that back around mid-August. I followed up in September and from the sound of it no one even noticed that I sent in the receipt. I was told a “paynote” would be sent out. Never got it. Then I was told a check would be sent. Never got it. Now I am back to this “paynote” method again and still nothing. It’s the end of October now. It’s not even about money at this point it’s the principle. Every time I talk to customer service, I’m given a date or time that I will either receive my payment or a call and it goes by with no one reaching out. Mind you its been 3 months at this point. If you call them it’s rare to get an answer. If you leave a voicemail it’s rare to get a call back. Based on other reviews this is no different for shops. Last time I called I was sent to voicemail.

Extremely bad communication and would not respond to service center to discuss what was or was not covered. Took two weeks to get one of their mechanics out to review recommended fixes and then did not approve majority of fixes. Took a month to get my car back and only reason I got it back was because I paid what they said they would cover because they never responded to service center. So I paid their portion and then it took me 2 1/2 weeks to get ahold of them to get paid for what I paid that they were supposed to cover. Terrible communication and customer service. And beware of the plan, they will tell you no deductible but that’s because they make you pay half the labor on a covered job, which in some cases can be $1000 if it’s a major part, like a transmission or engine. Worst warranty company I’ve ever dealt with, would never recommend them unless money and time isn’t an issue.

I WORK FOR A DEALER AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET PAYMENT FROM THIS "SO CALLED COMPANY" FOR 3 MONTHS. I HAVE CALLED OVER AND OVER AND NO ONE WILL CALL BACK. YOU JUST GET THEIR ANSWERING SERVICE WITH PROMISES OF A CALL BACK. YOU CAN EVEN ASK TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND STILL THEY AREN'T ABLE TO TRANSFER YOU OR GIVE YOU ANY DIRECT PHONE NUMBER TO ANYONE. I FINALLY HAD SOMEONE FROM THE ANSWERING SERVICE TELL ME A CHECK WAS CUT ON 9/2 AND EVEN WENT AS FAR AS GIVING ME A CHECK # AND ALL!! IT STILL HASN'T SHOWN UP. I bought the warranty from them in 2023 and each time I've inquired about coverage it was denied saying that if it's not specifically spelled out in the contract it is not covered. This time the repair was for an evaporator core replacement. I had the dealership contact them as that part was spelled out in the contract. When the service manager was finally able to get through to them to get approval he was told they would send an adjuster out within 24-48 hours. After more than a week they denied the claim saying there was a Technical Service Bulletin on that issue. I called and spoke to someone to inquire what my rights of appeal were and was told there weren't any. The service manager from the dealership called me to say they couldn't find a service bulletin for this issue and he called Elite to get a copy of it. They emailed him a TSB, but it was for a different vehicle. I listened as he called back and the same guy who smugly told me i had no appeals recourse told him he was not qualified to answer his questions and someone would have to call back. Since then, I've called every day, left messages, and haven't gotten any return call. it's obvious that they are now ignoring me. I'm in Georgia and it gets pretty hot here in the summer. I'm now faced with the prospect of going through a sweltering summer because this company was fine about taking my money but turned ghost when it came time to honor their commitment that I paid for. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANYONE PAY THESE SCAMMERS MONEY!! I intend to explore every avenue to get my money back from them

I requested a cancellation of my warranty and refund in three days of purchase. They deny I made the request and will not refund my payment. Scott and Shawn were the 2 men I spoke with numerous times. Scott said my dealership would repair any problems I needed and when I called my dealership they had never heard of them or worked with Elite. I called and canceled that moment and they sent me all kinds of reasons not to cancel. If a company lies to you right out of the gate there is major problems. Do not deal with Elite Auto Protect I continue to call, message and request communication and nothing is getting through or being attended to.

I. Filed a claim on or about 2/14 of 25 with Elite. My vehicle was at a General motors repair shop. The service department Diagnosed my problem as a transmission Failure and misfire , which involve two coil packs. Elite sent the dealership to coil packs and insisted I have the transmission removed and disassembled at my cost of $1,100.00 hundred dollars to determine the problem. The Diagnosis was a bad torque converter and that was going to be the only part they would replace. They would not pay for new seals gaskets oil and reasonable and installing of the transmission. The out the door cost to me was $7061.23 dollars " The dealer would not warrant any repair unless I replaced it with a rebuilt transmission from their shop." Before reimbursing me elite required a copy paid invoice. They agreed to pay me $600.00 of witch I'm still waiting "05/14/25 current date of writing " waiting on. I have talked to Shawn and 2 other agents at the elite office many times asking about why I haven't received my check. Most of the time the phone was not answed I had to leave a message. I also had the policy in effect for 2 years with no claims to the cost of $3,992.00. Please read the fine print I Didn't !!

DO NOT USE THIS Company!!!! My apologies to anyone who have used this company as a result of me not posting my experience with them sooner. The only reason I gave a 1 star is because anything less will not afford me an opportunity to warn you to stay clear of this company. Everyones comments that I read about this company are similar or the same experience I had with them. My experience started with a very nice accommodating Scott to take my money for the plan. One day later I call to cancel after read the reviews. No more nice Mr nice guy from Scott. He tried everything to get me to reconsider, I was not having any of it. I paid $3,325 in January 2024. I requested the cancelation. It took until late May before I recieved a full refund at $500 every two weeks. A clear form of punishment for cancelation. Shaun was very selective in his response to emails, text messages, and phone calls, and eventually stop responding altogether. After multiple correspondence via text and emails with Scott calling him out for the company's lack of professionalism, inaction, to resolve customer's complaints in a reasonable time, he ask me not to contact him again as he would consider it harassment. However, before that he pleaded with me not to write a negative review as it would only hurt him. He stated other have been fire as a result of their poor performance. He further stated that I was a sad sick little person with no life to do something like this after he tried to help me get my money back. I let his comments go u challenged; because I am a retired military officer with over 30 years of military service. Additionally, I worked another 11 years for the federal government. So, with over 40 years of Federal service twice retired, there was no need to respond to his comments. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS Company!!!!!

Oh boy do not trust this company did not uphold there contract obligations purchase an 3/36 Elite+ warranty I met my contract policy 30 days or 750 mile so after 13 days after the contract took effect my vehicle broke down took it to the shop they inspected it then called them to make a claim after a week and a half later there inspector shows up and states to the shop it's a pre-existing condition so won't cover repair no contact from them at all I called them to ask why that's where it went all down hill told them do you think I would of purchased this vehicle if it had a problem (Hell No) that's why I purchased a warranty or anybody does to protect if a vehicle brakes down once again they said pre-existing condition gee I just returned from an 800 mile road trip got home drove it another 395 miles then the PTU went out it drove like a champ no concerns at all on the trip luckily me and my family made it home safe without it braking down on the road. So 2 weeks later it's costing me $2,500.00 out of my pocket didn't get a car rental or that would of cost at least$1,000.00 I payed for the tow to the shop but in dealing with all the BS they did refund my tow charges so I was done with them I asked for my cost of the warranty back they said sure $517.00 which the warranty cost $1,299.00 I ask why well we had to send are inspector out that cost money and the tow charge hold it I payed so more or less they said you still have like 34 months and roughly 34,500 miles of coverage left for $517.00 that's pretty cheap coverage I ask them o.k if I have another brake down another week from now will it be covered will of course it will so I asked what difference does it make 13 days after my warranty went into effect or 18 days or 2 weeks well we have a inspection of your vehicle now so all covered up to the contract expired date or miles just don't make sense to me the vehicle was inspected by the dealership before it went on the lot everything checked out as no problems and had another dealership do some recalls on it and they inspected it as no concerns noted after I purchase it. I was in my contract obligations of 30 days or 750 miles they was not so more or less they just did not want to pay the claim. (I think they need to be honest up front and state to the customer that there vehicle should have a inspection before they issue a warranty I know other companies requires it before it's issued I had this take place about 7 years ago on a vehicle I wanted a warranty on passed the inspection and I got coverage.) Oh a note there ratings are 4+ but my understanding is they pay for them ratings that's why I went with them boy I got taken and fooled lets see what happens down the road.

I got the ELITE+ plan with this company back in April 2024. I had work done on my car to replace the radio that had gone out and it was a touch screen type that controlled my AC and GPS. First the company tried to low ball the dealer for the parts and refused to pay for the part they recommended and wanted to mail your own part to them to use? WTF? Then I never got reimbursed for the 4 days I had a rental car. Yes I did have this rental during the weekend but there are 2 days I should have gotten reimbursed for while my car was being worked on and got nothing. Then to top it all off I find out today that our company never paid for the radio work that was done in May! You claim that the check was mailed in June but if they keep calling your company looking for the payment, you should at the very least do a stop payment on that check, verify the mailing address and reissue that payment.

Updated Jan 30th, Shawn M didn't work my dealership, He didn't pay on a claim that we agreed upon. Won't answer the phone and won't return my calls... Based on my experience I say the is a total rip off I'll ask for a refund and cancel my policy and post the results Post date is 11/7. all documents were sent.. no response see image... update. The day after this review was posted I got call back saying that they would pay me that day, if I would agree to sigh a document and agree to remove this review. The other option was to wait until the end of quarter and I would get payed for my $519 claim.. End of quarter came and went... Called told them i would re-review them... they call back, was told a check was cut Jan. 5th.. Have not received the check so of course more calls and no answer .. all documents were provided as requested. You saw Shawn's replay to my original post...Claim was to be paid paperwork was sent. This will be you if you give this company any money.. anyone can quote the lowest price and why not , if you don't intend to pay claims. You can see this is not a simple misunderstanding. This is dodge, delay, deceive and don't pay.

If you are thinking of buying an extended warranty for your vehicle, look at the reviews this company has. They are the absolute worst, I made the ultimate mistake of taking out not one but two policies for both my vehicles. When I took my vehicle in for repair they told the mechanic that I had not ran my vehicle more than 1,000 miles therefore they could not cover the repairs. After numerous calls and emails (two days later) I finally was able to speak with someone. I sent them a picture of the odometer which showed that I had ran the vehicle over 3,200 miles, the representative promised to get back to me before the end of the day. They called me about 4 hours later and stated that they could not cover the repairs because they ‘believe’ it was a pre existing condition. So now it wasn’t the miles it was what they ‘believed’ was a pre existing condition. ?????. This company is a SCAM!!!! An absolute SCAM. Before you give any money to them I urge you to read the reviews. Run away from this company as fast as possible. I made the biggest mistake of NOT reading the reviews. Trust me, you will thank me. I Never write reviews but I just had to warn everyone about this shady business that is SCAMMING innocent consumers.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I'm currently trying to get a refund on my policy. It took them months to get the parts in and now over 4 months later the vendor still hasn't been paid and they do not answer calls or return emails so it's an absolute scam. You have to call from a different number otherwise they will see your caller ID and not answer and then when they do answer they tell you the check was just mailed out this week. I have done this three times now. I would not recommend. Please do not believe any of the perfect reviews that you see as you can clearly see that they were all from the same month which shows that they are fake more than likely

A shady company. I recommend against use. I was approached by them when I purchased a used vehicle. I asked for a copy of their contract to read the fine print. After reading the fine print thoroughly, I wrote ten questions for Shaun to answer in writing via email that I told him would become part of the contract file. Basically, if you write it, it better be true because it could be used against you later. He sat on them over a week stating he had had the flu. Thats OK. I resent them to him and he went dark never to be heard from again. I even sent him a couple more emails, but he never replied. This is what I would expect from a company making promises but then not living up to what they said they would. Their contract left them too many escape clauses that generated the questions I sent him. A reputable company would stand behind their word. This company ran. I have copied the email and list of questions below for anyone interested. Good morning Shaun, I have had the chance to read your contract. I took some notes as I did so in the form of questions as I did so. I like what I see here so far. I have attached the questions so you can provide some answers and we can go from there. The following questions, in no specific order, are ones that I had as I read through the extended warranty contract. They and your subsequent answers to them will be included supplementary to the contract in the permanent file for EliteAutoProtection in the event we enter a contract for extended service. 1. How long have you been doing business under this name? 2. How long does it take to get authorization for a repair and repair claim #? 3. How long does it take to pay for covered claims? 4. How many claims have you declined vs approved? 5. Have you or your company been named in a lawsuit regarding failure to perform under the terms of the contract? 6. Do you have a live 24/7 contact in case of a middle-of-night roadside assist request? 7. Have you or your company dropped or terminated an insured customer from being insured prior to the contracted date or mileage? 8. If so, for what reason(s)? 9. What is the definition of “Failed vs Worn” on Suspension repairs? 10. Are diagnostic charges covered by contract?
