We recently applied for an auto loan through Mountain America. However, the service, terms and interest rate was easily beat by other credit unions we applied through. We have had an auto loan with Mountain America in the past so went to them first, because of the positive experience it had been but were disappointed this time with their inability to provide comparable service.

They have really good rates but if you don’t set up an automatic payment then it’s hard to work with them to get it payed. They don’t have good online services.

ive tried several times to get loans from them and have been denied. not sure why when other places have approved me. however this year they gave me a loan

Good bank, but not a bank. I believe that a Credit Union should serve their group and not try and be a bank or else they need to pay taxes.
