Honest consumer Concord, NC

Wells Fargo has been a good banking experience for the most part, but I have two suggestions: Bring back secure messaging through the app/website. Now they make you call their 800 number for anything you need to address. The secure messaging feature back when it was Wachovia was great! Please bring that back. Also, $35 for each time you overdraft is way too high! It's hard times right now. A little grace would be appreciated. Lower the fee please!

I've been a long time customer of Wells Fargo, but feel their service continues to slip. I recently needed assistance from my local branch, but they told me the branch manager was too busy to call me back that week. I understand they have higher priorities, but if one of my 20+ year customers needed some documentation I would atleast call them back. Disappointing because I've done a lot of business with Wells Fargo over the years.

My wife and I used Wells Fargo for a home business account but moved on after they charged fees for everything single service they offered. They had decent service but they expected to be paid by you for using your money. Glad I left before they got into so much trouble with the Fed for opening up fraudulent bank accounts in customer's names in order to boost their quotas. Very dishonest!

Wells Fargo banking is convenient and easy to use. Their branches are in nearly every city, but their fraud protection needs improvement and they should implement some rewards for long term members.

until recently i had no issues with this company but recent changes in the way they handle retirement accounts has made it extremely difficult to do business and when you call have to work thru several people before i get to someone that knows what they are doing.

I haven't been impressed with Wells Fargo banking or how difficult it is now to accomplish any transactions in the bank, over the phone, or online. Hopefully i don't regret banking with them. Luckily this is my secondary account.

I was added to my husbands Wells Fargo bank account when we got married and I have not been too impressed. We are not world travelers and stick in the same area most of the time. A lot of their features seem like they would be great for big companies or people that travel a lot. Not so great for your everyday average Joe.

Have been very disappointed with their hidden fees I find on my statements recently. Been with them for 13 years and suddenly fee’s start popping up that never exited before. They apologize and say they will fix it every time I go in but really....after 4 years of monthly calls. I am switching banks.

Wells Fargo involved way too many fees for my liking. The staff I interacted with were always professional and helpful but they tried to sell me on their services every time I went in. Overall helpful staff, but too many hidden fees for me to stick with them.

I've had an account with Wells Fargo for a long time and I've liked their friendly staff and how easy it is to use their services. I feel like their rewards program isn't helping me very much, or at least as much as they claim they will.

I purchase our mortgage, so they are now our mortgage lender. I initially found them difficult to deal with, but I have since found ways to handle things online in a way that works. When I have been in to the branch, they are understaffed and slow, and not very professional. I have family members who have worked for Wells Fargo and left before the the legal issues came out in the news, but those problems with their management still affect how much I trust Wells Fargo in general.

Wells Fargo is alright. It sure doesn't make me feel the greatest with all of these scandals coming out regarding their company. I am only a member with them because they have locations in my hometown as well as current place of residence. No perks to offer you, and the service is below par. Prepare for hidden and secret fees. Terrible to work with and dishonest.

I went and opened up a bank account at Wells Fargo and I was very disappointed. I found out after the fact that I had to continue to put a certain amount of money into my savings account every month. I went and talked to the head guy at the bank and he waived my fees. So, I am thankful their staff was nice enough to work with me but I would never have an account there again. Too many hidden fees and regulations.

It's easy to find Wells Fargo banks across the world. They provide a variety of services that are easy to utilize and the customer support staff is great. I think that their interest rates aren't very competitive.

Many things I don't like the way they do. To be able th cash checks you have to have more than the amount of the checks in the account in order for them to cash your checks. Really?

Wells Fargo is my go to bank because I know I will always find one wherever I go but I dislike their hidden fees and I trust them less based on the lack of security the last few years. I think they are making strides to repair their brand though.
