Juli Maloney Henderson, NV

We were clients of American Family until our son was involved in a small accident that resulted in a scratch on the cars of both vehicles involved. We obtained photographs and testimony showing the accident was clearly the other party's fault, but our claims agent refused to follow up with witness statements. The decision of fault was determined immediately and payout was provided to the other party, providing a rental car and repairs for a scratch that could have been buffed out. We spoke to two different supervisors and got completely different responses. One agreed that the evidence from the photos was enough to show fault belonged to the other party the second supervisor, who was the supervisor of our claim agent, never responded. We only found out that the claim had been decided when we received our renewal and increase. It seemed interesting to us that the insurance company that is supposed to be looking out for us, their client, didn't investigate the claim. Could it be due to the fact that our son was a 16-year-old male and those payments could be easy to increase? One will never know.

Cancelled me with 15 days notice because my child would turn 15 during the next 6 month renewal period and get his learners permit. Had that cancellation screwing up my insurance rates for 10 years after.

Too expensive and they just pay out to people involved in accidents if they also have the same insurance! Don't even investigate your innocence
