It is a fine service that is reasonably priced. I have used it for towing a half dozen times over the years and always been satisfied with the local contractor sent out to assist me. No other service offers nearly as good of an offer as I only trust my car with a certain mechanic and most force you to go to whoever happens to be nearby. Their customer service for membership, however, is pretty atrocious. After a membership mix up 12 years into my relationship with them, they said I must have been unable to afford a better policy then promised to get back to me by Tuesday about towing my car. Well, Tuesday came and went and it was not until the following Monday that my account was updated. This was very frustrating - especially as I was given a direct number but then they refused to respond to my VM after they missed their own deadline - but the contractors they use are good people, just hope you don't run into any trouble or else it will get rough. If you are not overly partial to a certain mechanic, GEICO is a much better deal with a world class customer service team. Most of my family has already moved over to them and when my current mechanic retires I will certainly be doing the same.

I had a ridiculous experience with AAA last night. They made me wait on a busy highway stranded for over two and a half hours. They sent my call to the wrong tow shop twice, got my location wrong three times and i spoke to about 6 different people who all managed to screw up my information. Then no one notified me when the tow truck driver was on his way so they had to be redispatched, and one girl at AAA intentionally left me on hold for over 25 minutes! Ultimately i didnt end up getting towed until almost 4 hours later. These people do not know how to do their jobs!

Their towing service wasn’t bad if it’s straight forward and in a populated area. Trying their car insurance, price is not very competitive and when using the MyAAADrive the trips are not recording all the time and I have location tracking on while using the app. Also during this coronavirus I emailed about extending the MyAAADrive requirements and all they responded with is to speak with my local insurance agent (pass the buck why don’t you).

Good Morning I had a sad experience with a that a tow driver who try his best to collect $ 160.00 out me 8/10/2020 He kept saying his dispatcher told him my membership was basic when know classic membership can be towed for 100 miles him and the dispatcher are crooks SMH, VM

When we were getting quote for car ins this company was very friendly and they were great at explaining things. When I compared prices they were a good amount higher. The agent lost some of his friendliness when I told him about the comparison.

I have been with AAA for over 30 years and am very satisfied with their service. I have had flat tires, dead batteries, and towing at no cost because of the plan I have. The road service guys have been very courteous, too. I get all the best discounts and no one can give me anything better. Right now I can't think of any improvements to suggest.

AAA roadside assistance is super helpful if you ever find yourself needing car help. They've come out to jump my car, change my battery, change a flat tire and tow my car— all included in the yearly fee. The downside & the ultimate reason my family cancelled our membership after several years is there’s a limit to how much assistance they can offer before they start charging extra, which is ridiculous (something like 2 jumps a year & 1 tow <5 miles)

I like the fact that they are there when we need them most of the time. By that I mean last winter our mini van suffered a battery that went dead. AAA boast that they bring a battery to you and you are on your way, we have been AAA members for nearly 30 years and were very disappointed to find out that OUR van was one that they didn't stock. So I was out of luck. I had to rent a car to get to work. No one was around to help me,

We needed to use their service for a tow once and the process was easy. However, they send you yearly renewal letters so it looks like you are "choosing" to renew. I chose not to renew this year as my current insurance covers what they offer and also the primary was in my husband's name...and he passed away in Oct 2019. That being said, I had to call my credit card co that called AAA to go through the lengthy process (agent blamed it on "slow computer") to get the account closed and monies refunded.

They sell different levels of membership. The basic gets one tow. The higher priced membership doesn't tell you it's not for unlimited roadside service, but only 3 calls a year. Roadside service is also controlled by the zone in which you purchase the membership. Buy in Central PA, but breakdown in Florida, you're at the mercy of what PA can negotiate in Fl, rather than just having Fl take care of it. Some agencies are better than others given their customer service. Now, there are so many ways to get roadside contracts (via insurance, car loans, etc), that AAA is antiquated.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about AAA I attempted to rent a hotel room through this AAA service I went on hotels.com and found a better rate I attempted to book an airline ticket the app kicked me out and would not allow me to book the flight

AAA has always honored our insurance. And we feel like we have a fair price. However, we started with AAA because we live in a rural area and wanted roadside assistance. We have to pay extra for roadside assistance in our area because we don't live close to a city. This means we will probably be finding another insurance company soon.

I love AAA...when I need it. The problem is that I rarely need it and when I do, I don't have enough "mileage" or the distance I need help with, doesn't cover. We were literally stranded in Bear Lake and it was harder to get AAA to help than it was to do it on our own. That shouldn't have happened in my opinion

They are great when I need them, it’s just not that often that I need them. If they had a month to month program I think I would be more inclined to keep them. They are great to work with when I need them and very customer friendly.
