The Good

  • EcoWater Pro Finder
  • Diagnose Water Feature
  • Easy Installation

EcoWater Pro Finder

EcoWater makes it really easy to find a professional in your area that carries EcoWater products. If you go to the “Find Your EcoWater Pro” section on the company’s website and enter your location, then it will find the closest store to you that can provide EcoWater systems. This makes it really easy for customers to find stores quickly.

Diagnose Water Feature

Understanding the problems you have with your water is essential to knowing what kind of filter you are looking for. EcoWater offers a guide on their website to helping you identify the issues you are having with your water, so that you can make the best decision for your home when it comes to water filters and softeners.

The Bad

  • Undisclosed Installation
  • Doesn’t Offer Salt-Free Systems

Undisclosed Installation

EcoWater does not disclose information about installing their systems on their website. There may be more information directly from the stores that sell EcoWater products, but EcoWater doesn’t offer any information. This can be difficult for customers trying to make a budget for their water system since an estimated installation cost is not offered.

Doesn’t Offer Salt-Free Systems

For those customers looking for a salt-free system, EcoWater is not the company for you. EcoWater offers water systems that do use salt, which you will need to replace over time. EcoWater is not the company to work with if you are looking for a system that is going to be salt free.

The Bottom Line

EcoWater is a good company that has a lot of good information to help you decide on a water system. The company has features for diagnosing water and finding a local store that carries EcoWater products, which makes the process a lot easier for customers. EcoWater does not have information on installation easily available and it doesn’t have salt-free systems, so if those two things are important to you, than EcoWater is not the company to use.

Aallen Katy, TX

We installed Ecowater when it was owned by a small business owner. He has such great customer service. It has since been sold 2 times. Now a larger company owns it. The policies have changed and I’m not sure I like them. I was never charged a service fee with the previous owner come out and do diagnostics. Now I’m charged $70. Not happy about it. With how expensive the water system is -routine maintenance is ok to have a fee for but troubleshooting should be included. I feel the small business /large company feel is gone. We are in need of a new system after having our current one for 10 years. I’m not sure we’re going to stay with them.
