Pretty good so far, im a new client but ive been happy with their professionalism ... from sundown to sunup it seems they answer the calls... i know ive called em at diff times. I feel less scared of the IRS since they are on my side. So far, its going good.

The process took some work on my end but the results were great ! Anyone can make a mistake. It's the mark of a reputable company to correct that mistake to the best of their ability. This company admitted to a mistake on our taxes and owned it. No matter how our initial experience went, in the end, what counts is this company took time to investigate the issue and then made it right. They worked out a payment plan, and they were all so very professional, we had constant communication and they truly have an exceptional tax program to help people out with the IRS. We were struggling doing it on our own and we were getting nowhere. The most Unethical, unprofessional company I have ever done business with in my 40 year career. The failed to provide service agreed to in the service agreement. I terminated the agreement and a mutual release agreement was signed. The agreement required that I receive a portion of my money back on or before 120 days. It is day 144 and they still won't refund my money. They have committed fraud.

When I received an audit notice, they offered Audit Protection, relieving my stress. With them on my side, I had nothing to fear.

I first contacted Tax Group Center in the Spring of 2021 after receiving several letters from the IRS owing a total of $12,266 for 2018 and 2019. Tax Group Center told me they could help me get my taxes reduced and taken care of for a fee of a few thousand dollars or even get my taxes reduced. There was never any discussions about charging $350 for me to fill out paperwork they sent me, $350 an hour to for them to call me on the phone, $350 an hour to send me an email, or I would have to pay to file taxes that I had already filed. I was charged twice $500 for 2022 taxes that I had already done along with 2020 and 2021 taxes that were not even part of either 2018 or 2019 taxes for witch I paid Tax Group Center $1,500. I gave them money on three other occasions the first two i had to go through their credit agency for a total of $10,300 at 16% interest, for which i thought was to pay the taxes I owed. February 2023 I was called on the phone asking for another $11,200 that I had to put on my credit card at 12.9% interest. Every time I was called asking for more money I was told my case could not go foward without these additional funds. On July 19th 2023 I received a phone call from Tax Group Center stating my case was resolved and I owed the IRS $20,000This is when I started to attempt to get answers to why i paid them so much money. After repeated emails and phone calls that were never answered on Sept 7th 2023 I finally received a receipt for services that was filled with ridiculous charges and a statement that they owe me $13,430 of money that I over paid them and they will pay me back over a 12 month period at $1,119.16, I find that unacceptable. I still have not been answered why I paid so much, why it took 2 years to resolve, why I wasn't told about the fees upfront. Tax Group Center never had my best interest in mind when representing me to the IRS. All I wanted was to have a payment plan set up with the IRS and Tax group Center took over two years to accomplish this. I am 70% VA combat disabled and dealing with The IRS and Tax Group Center has really taken a toll on my mental health and my marrage.

When I hired/retained the services of Tax Group Center on January 04, 2022, to represent me in resolving my IRS tax issues and help eliminate or reduce the tax debt. I was under the understanding that I was being represented by a firm/company with attorneys that were competent, professional, and capable of providing the best legal advice possible. According to their Service Agreement “TGC agrees to represent the Client in consideration of the Client’s payment of the required fees, as demonstrated in Section 4. The term of this agreement is one (1) year from the date of this agreement, or until service(s) (see Section 2 Scope of Representation Services) are completed. To find out that wasn’t the case. Services have not been satisfied or completed. This would be a violation of their contract. I have received less than stellar treatment from Tax Group Center. I’m very disappointed with this company. I placed all my trust and confidence on this firm/company. I have lost the trust and confidence of the attorneys and staff and have been wronged and misrepresented. I contacted the company on several occasions through email and phone, I explained that the service was unsatisfactory. I don’t believe my case was thoroughly presented, there was negligence on the attorney’s (Evan G), part. This company lacked communication. I did not receive any updates regarding the case. No emails or phone calls to advise me on how the case was going. I don’t believe that I was represented fairly by this company to address my concerns. I also feel that fees are excessive for the service that they claimed they provided. These fees were not adequately disclosed, and had I known about them, I would not have pursued a business relationship with this company. Now one year and seven months later (08/24/2023) the IRS tax issue is still not solved. This back and forth with several members from Tax Group Center (Jennifer S, Jennifer F, Evan G, Dawnell C, Julie M, Chadd L) and notifications from the IRS of threats to Levy/garnishment of my retirement pension has caused a lot of personal and financial stress. I have served in the US Army for over 37 years, and I dealt and experienced a lot within my time in the service (Bosnia-97, Kuwait-04, IRAQ 04-05). I am 100% Service-connected Disabled Combat Veteran with several medical conditions and this type of unprofessional business does not help my condition any, causing more stress. After emailing and speaking with Jennifer F, the case was transferred over to a Customer Representative, Chad L to investigate. I have received nothing but excuses from the company. From staff being on vacation, they are not available, they are off today to no response at all by email or voice messages as well as ignoring my calls and emails. On several emails and phone calls, I made numerous requests for Tax Group Center to forward me what services they claim they have done to solve the IRS tax issue that they were hired to do on 01/04/22. It’s been 1 year and 8 months and still no resolution to the case. Recently TGC sent me an email with a Mutual Release Agreement (Tax Group Center Terminating the contract) and what they consider to be a breakdown of services that they provided with an outrage’s charges of services, (see attached invoice). In the Mutual Release Agreement, they entice you with a refund. The refund won’t even make a dent on the debt that they have put me in. Clearly indicating that they don’t want to deal with me anymore. In the breakdown it doesn’t show that they tried to or contacted the IRS to discuss the case. Chad L stated that the company was investigating the case and would get back to me. Yet I have not received any new report of update on the 2019 taxes. The only two staff members that have reached out to me regarding my case have been Jennifer F and Julie M and recently Chadd L and that’s because of the constant email that I’ve been sending to resolve the issue. Below is a breakdown of the amount of money I’ve paid so far and the debt that Tax Group Center has placed me into. January 04, 2022 - $1,500.00 - a consultation fee prior to service being rendered to TGC to help me solve the IRS issue. (PAID). According to their website the consultation is FREE. “During a free consultation, Tax Group Center will determine if it can get the results the client needs and what programs would be best. Whether you need help with individual income tax issues or other business tax issues, Tax Group Center can pair you with the tax professional you need”. January 24, 2022 - $6,500.00 - a contract (monthly payments of $242.38 to United Consumer Financial Services) for the service that I have not received information for. A total of $8,785.93 with interest. I spoke with Jennifer S who clearly stated to me that the ONLY thing I need to pay was the $6,500.00 to resolve the case. That was a lie. April 04, 2022 - $2,533.00 - My expected 2022 refund was applied to a past due IRS tax obligation. I had no knowledge of or for what year. I found this out when I inquired about my return. I spoke with Ms. Jennifer F before I filled out my 2022 taxes, she clearly stated to me that the IRS would NOT keep my return. The IRS kept my 2022 return. This is something TGC was hired to do and supposed to be working on. This company has put me on a debt of - $12,818.93. These are the individuals that I have either spoken with or emailed to. Jennifer S-Senior Tax Analyst Dawnell C-Tax Preparation Specialist Evan G-Attorney Jennifer F-Resolution Specialist Chad L-Customer Service Julie M-EA If Tax Group Center is not able to provide me with the services that they stated in the Service Agreement, then I should be entitled to a refund. I understand we are responsible for our debt, but I hired this company to help me get on a better track and not put me in a worse position than I was. The response lacked an apology and was completely unsympathetic.

So far so good! Tom over there has talked me through the process and i just signed up with them. Its a good feeling to have a collections hold and to be able to sleep at night!

So far so good with Tax Group center... to be determined on star 5 but so far they have earned my trust and that of my pappy. He is disabled but i am his POA... they are understanding of the case and are helping us keep his estate intact. I commend them as its a complicate tax matter.
