I just recently started using Youtube Red and an pleased thus far. Having no more ads is awesome and the selection of videos is HUGE. I don't like having a monthly payment for such things usually but I can't do without Youtube Red now.

After a year long free trial of YouTube premium, I realized that free YouTube is now so inundated with ads that it is basically unusable. Therefore Premium is almost more of a necessary evil than a luxury. The music app is on par with Spotify however.

YouTube Red is great because you don't have any ads before your music. There are some music covers and other songs that are only on YouTube, so it's great to have YouTube Red because you can listen and close the app and do other things on your phone while the music is playing.

I tried Youtube Red for awhile and thought it was pretty cool. I liked that I could play music and turn my screen off without the music cutting off like it normally does. In the end I just didn't see the value in continuing to pay for it as I already had Sirius XM and Pandora but it was cool when I did use it and worked well!

Better than youtube for sure. You can stream live videos, live music and turn off your phone or use another app. In all aspects it’s a multitasking app that everyone needs on their device and in their lives.

You can't complain for free. Sure there are ads but it seems all free platforms have ads. You can find lots of content on YouTube Red.
