The sales guy was great friendly and seemingly knowledgeable. After taking our $$$ the story turns. In short after dealing with multiple service technicians coming to the house to get the same information before the project could get started and then multiple project mangers and months of delays. The nearly $60K system we wee told about is not what was delivered or even capable of powering more than a handful of circuits. They ran 100amp backup off the 50amp inverter output. I'm not an electrician but this seems questionable. BUT... They'll be happy to upgrade it for thousands of dollars more. In addition the solar panel bracing was mounted parallel to the rafters vs perpendicular. Which it causing sagging because the footing was not mounted over trusses. Now we have to add structural support between the trusses.

We were surprised with an additional $3500 charge for 3 piers in concrete for our ground mount array, only when presented with a pre-permit approval request. One would think this predictable. We are considering cancellation at a cost of at least $1000 rather than suffer further surprises.
