I had solar installed this spring, and picked Solar Harmonics based on their years in the business, good reviews, Diamond Certified rating and the very competitive price they quoted me. Everything about the project went smoothly, and Jamie was particularly helpful in getting all of the required permits, applications, etc. through the system. When the city inspector came for the final inspection, it passed with flying colors, and he told me, "You hired the right guys - they did an excellent job!" The system has been up and running for three weeks now, and PG&E has given it their blessing, so I'm all set! Looking forward to a nice, comfortably-air-conditioned summer!

After searching for some time for a Solar provider, we finally chose Jamie and Solar Harmonics. It ended up being a fantastic decision! From the start, I got the feeling that Jamie was there to help me, and not just to make a sale. He understood what I was looking for, and told me first whether I was even a good candidate for solar or not. Once we found out we are good candidates, Jamie was in contact throughout the entire process, and was very responsive. To me that is one of the most important things, and Jamie always responded in a very timely fashion. His operations manager Jared also deserves commendation. He answered my barrage of questions with patience and kept me informed throughout the whole process. We are really glad we chose Solar Harmonics, and if we ever move houses in the future, I know who to contact for more Solar.

After reaching out to a bigger player and getting disappointing service during estimation and planning, i reached out to Jamie to get estimates for solar installation at my place. Jamie was great in explaining all the steps and provided detailed estimates and plan. I really liked the professionalism and patience demonstrated by Jamie to answer all the questions and concerns. The installation was completed as per the schedule (without any delays) and Solar Harmonics made sure to be available till the installation was registered with PGnE. Would definitely recommend Solar Harmonics for potential solar installation.

We decided to find out about purchasing a solar system, Solar Harmonics was recommended, we contacted Jamie at Solar Harmonics. After speaking to Jamie for 15 minutes, he understood what we were looking for, and started an estimate for our project; the literature he provided recommended we get three estimates, which we did. After comparing service, warranties, and pricing, Solar Harmonics was the choice. Jamie stayed in contact throughout the process of design, permits and installation. His operations manager Jared that handled the actual install was professional and provided workers on site that were efficient, professional, polite, and respectful while working in our home. The project was started and completed on time with great communication and care. The system is working fantastic, and delivered as promised, We would recommend using Solar Harmonics.

After contacting 3 different companies, I decided to go with Solar Harmonics. Jamie was great. He answered all the questions I had without the salesman-type pressure. Great communication with prompt responses throughout the process even after the installation was completed. Work was done within and less than a week. I decided to add a fan in the attic for days with cooler mornings and hot afternoons to suck up all the hot air from my 2-story home which is supposed to reduce the temperature inside the house before running the a/c unit. I also asked about installing a transfer switch to connect to a generator instead purchasing a battery for power outages and the company was able to install it which saved me thousands of dollars! Great customer service over all!

I selected Solar Harmonics based on the positive recommendation that I received from a neighbor that is in the tech industry. I knew that this individual would have done thorough research on a a number of solar installation contractors, and that he would have selected the installer based on positive valued added to the products to be installed. This installer met or exceeded my expectations regarding the installation. Probably the single most important value of working with Solar Harmonics was that there was zero high pressure sales tactics employed by this company. In the past few years, I have been accosted by numerous solar installation contractors that literally hounded me to accept their respective proposals. I had been approached at retail stores as well as by 'door knockers' that were unwilling to accept a simple 'no' response to their sales pitch. Having spent a near lifetime career in industrial technical sales, I do not respond well to what I know are high pressure sales techniques. Per my above response, if the company and the products are reputable, there is no need for any high pressure sales techniques to get a prospect to buy the solar power system.

Jamie is THE MAN for customer service, knowledge and reliability. Look no further! Definitely in the top 5 of all contractors during the last couple years of upgrading our house. He is honest and always available to answer questions. Solar Harmonics was recommended by a few neighbors. After much research, and from the time when I first contacted Jamie to when we signed the contract over a period of a few months, Jamie was always available to answer questions by phone or email. The whole process was flawless and if I had to do this all over again I would definitely choose Jamie and Solar Harmonics. He is patient and prompt in returning my calls and emails if for some reason he doesn't pick up the phone, which is usually the case. Unheard of with most other companies we interviewed. He was very easy to work with and always helped me with my numerous questions. The installation company that installed the panels on our roof took about a week and was also professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I felt like I was in good hands from beginning to end. It took about 4 months to finally get the permit from PG&E after the installation. Jamie continued to manage the whole process and email them during Covid and SIP when PG&E put everything on hold. Very happy with the whole experience!

I looked at going solar for a few years, and when I decided to go solar, I asked a lot of people. Unfortunately, most of my friends and neighbors had recommendations on who not to go with for their solar projects. Almost everyone had some type of horror story. I understand solar is a big purchase, so I wanted to go with a company with a great reputation - and I have not been disappointed with our system from Solar Harmonics. I’ve had my system for close to a year, and it has nearly eliminated our electricity bill. I enjoy checking the solar production of my system and really enjoy not sending almost $300 to PG & E every month. As far as the installation, I have had zero problems, and their crews were fast, efficient, clean, and helpful. I recommend Solar Harmonics to anyone even considering solar power for their home and am happy to give them a five-star review.

The solar industry is booming in California, which is great for consumers that need alternatives. After recent power outages, and now being stuck at home with less income, we are all freaking out and trying to figure out what to do. Unfortunately, all the flashy ads, door knockers and telemarketers crowding the solar space make it hard to know who to choose, and who to trust. That’s where Jamie, the owner of Solar Harmonics really shines, so to speak! When you contact his company, you can actually reach a human being and get help without waiting days or weeks on end for a response. If you prefer to do business with local small business owners, consider Solar Harmonics. They are based in Brentwood (Contra Costa County), and Jamie is well known in the community for his fairness and generosity. He only does business by referral, so, over the years, he has built good relationships with local homeowners and business owners throughout the Bay Area. He has been an owner in the industry for over 10 years, so he really knows his stuff. Jamie takes the time to show you your options, and only recommend a system if it makes sense for you. It is super tempting to go with a no money down lease solar system, which is most of what you will see from other companies. But that company gets the tax credit, and not you, so it will cost you more in the long run. Often, you’ll get stuck with outdated or low-quality equipment with companies that try to sell you on cost. And, good luck selling your house with leased equipment. Solar Harmonics does NOT do leases, does end of year “true-ups,” and most importantly, they have battery back-up options, so your system will work during a power outage!!!! In this crazy economy, it’s smart to take control of the power to your home, get the tax benefits, and save some money, too! I highly recommend scheduling a consultation with Solar Harmonics. While I did not ultimately go with solar, I was so appreciative of the process. You won’t get high pressure sales tactics, you’ll get informed so you can make the best decision for you. I really appreciate Jamie’s patience and willingness to educate me, and my referrals, so we can all stop freaking out! Thanks, Jamie, for all of your help!

We went with Solar Harmonics initially because of the great reviews and diamond certification. Once we spoke with Jamie, and then with multiple other companies, we understood why their reviews were so good. Unlike all the other companies we spoke with, Solar Harmonics was able to provide clear information including a quote, and there were no additional or hidden charges. No other solar company was able to provide this info, and we spoke with multiple. With Solar Harmonics we spoke with Jamie the entire time, before, during and after the installation. It was a great experience!
