Shinnova was one of the few solar companies I spoke with that wasn’t pushy, didn’t try to oversell, and had by far the best warranty across the board. They were great communicating about the install which only took two days. I spoke with 7 different solar companies and I would choose them again in the future. 6 months after install and the system is working as expected. After one year we’ll really know if the actual production met expectations and if not Shinnova will add more panels for free. There was only one time when the signal from the gateway couldn’t report on production (panels were still working) and Shinnova quickly discovered it was a manufacturer’s software issue which was resolved within a few days.

If I were going to install 100 more solar arrays, I’d choose Shinnova Solar for every single job. They were professional, courteous, and easy to work with from the very first meeting until they completed the job. As an owner of a small business that stresses customer service myself, I was blown away at how courteous they were. Every person I worked with at Shinnova was excellent- salesperson, project manager, and installers were all top notch. I try to keep my property looking good, and the installers went above and beyond to make sure they disturbed as little of my yard and landscaping as possible. You can barely tell they were even there. If you care about the quality of work being done on your solar project and on your home, don’t waste your time calling someone else. If there is a competitor out there that is as good, you’d have to search far to find them. And I’m certain no one could be better than Shinnova. They are truly excellent at what they do.

They did a good job installing. Was done in 1 day as informed. Only issue we had was communication with when installation was pushed back and when tree service was pushed back we weren't told and had to reach out ourselves. When communicating with rep was made to feel we weren't understanding. I know delays happen but we should not be the ones to reach out and find out they are running behind. Would definitely recommend Shinnovabut I was not satisfied with the way I was made to feel.

We had a time sensitive and logistically complex installation, could not roof mount due to existing service entry far from rural residence, need to avoid livestock access, huge rock ledges that made it difficult to route our much preferred subsurface solar generation powerlines. We also had installed panel to power company 'issues' due to extremely poor cell service (modem connectivity at pole away from residence). We also had ONE bad panel which was promptly replaced after confirmation through Enphase that it was substandard. despite challenges, Shinnova Solar has done a good job and has great reputation in our rural area and in semi-rural install and also in our inlaw's install closer to more urban setting. Delay in approval due to being located in a remote area and Rural Electrical Cooperative was part of reason for delay in install.

After getting several quotes, I chose Shinnova because their financing+price was the best value for a good product with a better warranty than the others I considered. The sales rep was friendly, knowledgable, and helpful without being too pushy, and throughout the purchase and installation, they have communicated well, kept us informed, and done everything they said they would do on time. (Note that most of the time lag between purchase and installation and "turn-on" is due to waiting for city and/or energy company work (ie, permitting, inspection, meter installation) that's outside the control of any solar company.)

I contracted with Shinnova to install a solar system on my home two days after Memorial Day, 2023, and the system was activated on July 3. Every person I came in contact with from sales, to design, to project management, to installation crew acted professionally and courteously, as well as efficiently. They did not oversell the product but provided clear and accurate information. It was a much different experience from a different company that also made a bid on the job. It was clear that the company had a positive working experience with my utility company in Independence, Missouri. That helped expedite the process. The system has produced as expected during the first couple of weeks. I have no experience with warranty service after the install, but to this point I would give Shinnova a very high recommendation. If I were to do it again, Shinnova would be my company of choice.

Every step of this process (the installation, financing, technology/app tracking and tax filing) was smooth and effortless. I was a bit nervous about the network of contractors utilized but it was unwarranted. The solar panel installation took a couple months with several visits from the installers, electricians and Shinova reps - pretty painless overall. I'm a huge fan of the real-time data tracking app installed on my phone with several metrics to gauge performance. The installed cellular card occasionally has issues staying connected to the cellular tower in our neighborhood, which is more indicative of the poor cell tower coverage. However, the instructions for configuring the gateway through our wi-fi was pretty straight forward as a nice alternative. Additionally, this year's tax return was a very pleasant surprise and far exceeded what we expected. In fact, our experience has been better than promised from start to finish and beyond. We've been so happy to sing Shinova's praises to friends and family that my father-in-law opted to contract Shinova for his solar next June. We couldn't be more excited about our decision to go solar with Shinova!

We have had our solar for over a year. Prior to choosing a company, I did research on solar companies. Shinnova ranked high on ratings and still does. Many HOA’s list companies if you go solar and they rank high there too. I am extremely happy with the inspection process to make sure our roof support was sufficient. Shinnova added support to our newer home to make sure it met standards. The app I have lets me see how my solar is storing in the battery back up. I have met people that have solar which they bought through door to door salesmen. Please don’t go there. Choose a company that’s been around and has a high rating. We are glad we did!

Shinnova Solar, Did great! They came to the house multiple times and went over the how much power would we need and how much the solar panels would generate. They went over many purchase plans and loans. They performed numerous inspections of the house and power system before generating plans and submitting them for approval. They provide weekly updates till the system was approve and then scheduled a date for installation. Then followed up with the web site for inspecting the system. They went the extra mile on helping with financing and with set me up with a tax person to help gain all the credits I was able to get. Overall, Shinnova Sola was great to work with and I highly recommend them and I have been telling all friends about them

James G. Came out and walked me through the process. Assessed how many trees would need removed to provide enough viable daylight to produce the amount of electricity I would need to be ahead of usage consumption most of the year. 80% or so I think. After about 8 weeks later materials were delivered. Trees were removed by professional Arborists. And the grid and photovoltaic panels along with the transfer switch and net meter enclosure were installed by their team in only two days. The electircal component installers did a small bit of damage in my drywall above the garage. But it was so minimal my friend just patched it for me before their guy had a chance to come back to get it fixed. I have received emails with the rebate materials enclosed and need to review and allocate all my tax return information to file thru turbo tax pro as soon as everything has been compiled. Overall I would highly recommend for your solar needs and have told at least 6 people to use them and tell them I sent them to ya. And I think some went forward with the deal. The level of professionalism their teams showed me was that they were good at their trades and took pride in a job well done. So far the meter has been installed. And the system works as intended. Just need to schedule my regular cleaning maintenance. And reap the benefits of going solar. For my wallet 💸 and the planet 🌎 and my child's 👶future. 10/10 🍿 5-star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌞 👍

Shinnova was the first company to respond when I indicated an interest in finding out more about solar for our home. We sat up an initial meeting and the representative who spoke with us had me sold in a few minutes. All of the questions and doubts I had dissolved. The lower roof pitch was no problem, the roof in good shape, the lack of overhanging trees ideal. The. Initial quote for a 24 panel system was less than expected, but I gave COPD and require dedicatef oxygen at night. A backup battery system could be wired in to solve the problem. The cost concerned me but with tax incentives and other means the cost was excellent again. We signed up and they immediately started work on design getting needed permits and hooked me up with a project manager I could contact anytime for updates or questions. When i got worried about cost again i asked for a itemized breakdown and got it immediately. My concerns disappeared. When they began installation, it looked complex but was done in a few days visits and involved as many skilled workers as needed to keep the project on track. The operations manager even became involved due to somw unusual aspects concerned with my nightime needs. When it went live last September I had sn application on my crll phone to access and fine tune the system..which i do now daily. With exception of two winter months filled eith overcast, the electri company had owed me rather than me owing them..on the overcadt months the bill was under $20 I am delighted with Shinnova's response time, quality of workmanship, pricing, maintaining an open door for communication and followup. With the additional professional help they supplied at tax time, I am super happy with the adjusted cost. If you consider solar, begin your adventure " living on sunshine" with Shinnova. They are simply excellent

I found the entire process, from first contact through activation, very positive. I had many questions and they did a great job of explaining all aspects. The people were very positive and put absolutely no pressure on us to commit. I think most people do not believe they can afford to add solar. That simply isn't the case. Shinnova is fantastic. We have not yet received our first utility bill, but if everything goes as planned, we should break even on our total costs (panel payments and utility bills) on a yearly basis.

I have needed a couple repairs due to software updates on the manufacturers side and Shinnova was great in coming out and fixing the issue with new hardware free of charge. We have had solar panels since December 2018. There have been electic bills that had credits and some that were zero dollars. Wish i had invested in a battery bank with the panels, then I would have not need for a generator during power outages. Could still add battery backup, but power outages don't happen offten and when they do, don't last long. Backup generator is only used for 2 or 3 hours when power goes out. I think the best part is the low electric bills. Thank you, Bruce R.
