Renu took twice as long to install than projected, started charging me before producing electricity, blamed local power grid for problems and (despite being within warranty period) charged me thousands to fix when 35 of 39 panels’ microinverters needed replaced. And this was after 6 months of having the system down.

Update on last review... I was told I'll save money and was told that the most I'd pay to met Ed is around 10 dollars... Well apparently it's not true! I just paid my monthly payment on solar and come to find out I also have to pay met Ed over 400 dollars this month!!! That is not 10 dollars!!! I'm finding out l have been lied to about many things. Do not recommend this to anyone until they stop their lies. Thank u 😠I ended up paying out more than save anything so far...will see how it goes this yr...not happy customer right now...will update again

I was promised a $50 if I had someone give them an interview to do solar panels for their home. I was also promised $1,000 if the deal went through and the person got their solar and everything was taken care of. My sister was the one who got the panels did the payment plan. I talked to them several times and told them I've never received any of the money that I was promised for this. I think they're very unfair very unkind they quit taking my calls. So hopefully no one else believes her advertisements

I would definitely not recommend anyone deal with this company. During installation, the company called Enphase recommends installing surge protection. Renew chose not to do that. My system was down for over a year because of a surge, or a pair of surges that came through the line and took out 19 of my 20 micro inverters. Renew was ineffective in diagnosing. The problem drag their feet to visit my residence, never brought the materials they needed, and then finally tried to charge me about three times what another company charged to fix the problem their installation created. They rarely return phone calls, and I am thankful I no longer associate with them . I’d suggest running in any other direction than dealing with this company.
