Once sale is complete. Your left to fend for yourself. Took 3 months before electric company approve apps for solar. Energy companies, Pure recommends to call next. Clearly do not offer solar services, barely getting set up, DO NOT OFFER 1 FOR 1 as they inform during sale. All electric companies I have spoken with said solar policies have changed over the last year and no one offers a match. You pay .10, they may only allow credit of .03. So, you know have a solar bill & regular electric bill. PURE IS BIG RIP OFF! My electric runs between $180-$500. No different than before panels. Plus I have a solar bill

I would give this company zero stars if I could. They walked us through our past two years of energy bills, showed us how buying solar panels would cut our monthly costs to virtually nothing, and assuring us the $176/month solar bill would be all or almost all we would pay. I asked if our energy company would work within these parameters; I was told they absolutely would. It was all a lie. We pay all but about $30-$40 a month less on electricity plus the panel fee. I am currently searching for an attorney to help with this issue.

If I could, i would give them NO STARS! I have 32 solar panels due to our high usage of electricity with a hefty solar loan amount and i still have to pay city electricity company for energy consumption. And if that's not enough horror, now I'm being told that we need to be "FRUGAL" with our electricity usage during certain times of the day when we live in a state with plenty of sunlight!! Save your money, solar is a rip off!!

I felt like they didn't communicate well with us. I had too many different answers from too many different people. The installation seemed to go well. There was some damage with some sheetrock in the ceiling, but they repaired that and a light that we had on the side of our home but we didn't realize it was broken until after they had finished. We only had the unit on our roof for 2 months and one of the converters had went down. It took roughly a month before they reinstalled and the unit was back up so I ended up having to pay the electrical bill and the solar bill at the same time.

They offered a savings on electric bill. I am very disappointed because I had only one bill before. Now I have two bills of equal or more money I have to pay. I will not suggest it to anyone or refer any of my friends to install the solar equipment around their house.

There has not been a lot of communication. My husband and I have to call multiple times to be able to speak to someone about our concerns. So far our experience has not matched up with what we were told when we signed up with Pure. That coupled with the timeline and the lack of communication has both my husband and I frustrated.

They promised a tax return we never got. Our system isnt providing the amount of energy they said it would. Our electricity bill and the loan have doubled what we were paying without them. The transister keeps going out. The company is a liar and said nothing was wrong, their own installer said thats not true.

The installation process was very efficient, the guys arrived with the panels and then they were able to install in one day. I was promised some stuff when I signed with them, and now that I have the panels already installed they haven't delivered.

They lied to me, that was not right. He said that he was going to pay itself. I was only going to pay $118 and I only get $95 of light a month, that's what I would get for $120. No more than that. Now I'm gonna have to pay $207.

I was told I would be able to have the system moved to my new home. I wasn't able to do so. They added on later the fact that the panels need to be paid off before they were they're able to move and that's not what I was promised. Some panels had an issue and they fixed immediately.

We have had the panels on our house for at least 6 months and they have yet to be connected. I feel that if there would be a problem with thw connections that it would have been looked into before installing them

Install was uneventful. No one explained anything to us. Now we have trees that are covering the panels. I still pay a high electricity bill because the person who sold them to us didn't explain it to us.

Pure energy is pure trouble! As a cash customer i was treated poorly! I paid my 20% cash down payment in May 2024. It took 3 weeks to get the plans approved. Once we were approved by the city, the team installed the panels and we paid the next 70%, so now we are 90% paid and not a KW generated. Unfortunately, management didn't listen to the electrician thinking he could hot wire our system which already included 10KW solar and a 22KV Generac. The electrician and myself as a professional engineer, concurred it was too dangerous to "hot wire" this system. This is where we began to lose traction. It took another 2 weeks to get a shut down scheduled. Finally, after a long wait, we had to seek alternative accommodations for a day while the power was off. The next item was inspection. Another week plus to get this scheduled... and guess what Pure "slow chaos" Energy wanted their last 10%. Still not a single KW generated and would be another week and a half to get the system commissioned. It doesn't end there. I insisted i wouldn't make final payment until the system was commissioned and operating. In the meantime, I inspected the system myself as a professional engineer and turned it on shielding the monitoring antenna with aluminum foil. The saga continues! The commissioning appointment occurred the day after departed on vacation, the 23rd of July. After the commissioning, the Pure "conceited" Energy representative Ron, left the system in the off position, steeling 11 days production from my electrical bill. I am still not signed into Solar Edge, the performance monitoring system, because it appears Pure "BS" Energy has not authorized or sponsored our access. Buyer beware. Personally, I wouldn't trust this company to walk my dog! Pure energy

On May 6th 2022 we spoke to Chris G. This was a door to door sales situation. Chris laid out how the solar system would operate connected us with financing through Good Leap, He stated that our bill for the panels would be $X for the first 18 months then it would go up to $Y. The problem is that Chris stated that when tax season comes around we would receive a check for an est. $16466.55. when we receive that check we would need to pay that to Pure to keep it at the $X price. We would find out later that the check part was a lie. When we spoke to him I told him that my husband is a disabled veteran and I am in a low tax bracket. With the child tax deduction I do not pay taxes and would be getting a refund. He stated then I should get the full check when I file my taxes. There were long delays in getting my system up and running, The project was "inspection in progress" for a long time and we had to email Centerpoint and Pure (9/8/22) and at one point Pure lied to us about an inspector being sent to my property to complete the inspection. After the panels were finally installed they do not have the output even hinted at by the Pure salesman. Fast forward to January 14th 2023, two more sales people came to my home stating that they were in the neighborhood "cleaning up Chris's mess" and that we did not have enough panels on our home to produce enough electricity. Jared J was the primary salesperson and wanted to sell us more panels. When my husband questioned him about the tax "check" part he stated the same thing Chris stated at first, then changed his story a bit say that we will not get it all at once. My husband then surreptitiously recorded audio of the conversation. After filing my taxes today I found that YES the tax credit was not refundable to me and what Chris and Jared said was a lie. This company uses deceptive trade/sales practices. Beware of them. I contend that PURE Solar and their salespeople (Chris G and Jared J) used deceptive trade/sales practices when speaking about the tax credit as their main selling point. Their pricing scheme us dependent on the tax credit that is nonrefundable to the taxpayer. The payment outline that they gave me was dependent on said tax credit. Also both salesmen continually gave information that was obvious tax advice. The question that I and my husband have is; if the solar system “seems poised to meet or even surpass the estimated annual production” then why would Pure send another salesperson to my home to sell me more solar panels? Why would Jared say that my solar panel were not producing enough energy for my home? Why would Jared J repeatedly say that they were trying to clean up Chris C's mistakes? Was this more deception on their part? Those are questions Pure Solar continues not to answer. Their tactic of avoiding the actual issue in any response, stalling for months and nonresponse shows they are not to be trusted. Pure is another solar company trying to do to Texas what these solar companies did to Michigan.

There are 2 people in the administrative part of this company that would respond to my concerns. The person who was supposed to be my main contact acted like I didn't exist until he needed something from me. He did not return phone calls or respond to emails, which resulted in more attempts to get answers. It was approximately 6 months from the signing of the contract until the panels were finally installed, during which time I was not kept informed on the delay. Then they showed up unannounced. Then it took several months to get it turned on, blaming the delay on the local power company, who responded immediately to my calls but said they were not getting requests from the solar company. Then the inverter failed after just a couple months. I decided to add a battery backup and the saga started all over again. They had to install a new inverter for that feature and that one failed shortly after install. Then the newly installed battery would not work properly after the inverter was replaced so there was a delay of several more months to wait for that. With each one of the failures there was a several month delay waiting for a new one. NO, I am NOT satisfied with this company. I can understand failures with new technology, especially with equipment shortages but I will not accept the total lack of communication of this company with me. I spent my whole career in the electronic service industry, where customer communication was the key to success. Even when I made that statement to several people in this company there was no response. Everything has been working fine now, finally, for a little over a month and it has been almost 2 years since the original contract was signed.

I put solar panels on my roof 2 years ago, I waited patiently for them to "kick in" my entire roof is covered house and detached garage with solar panels. I don't have a big house. I pay 250 bucks a month for the loan to get the panels, I have switched electric companies 3 times now. Still get an outrageous electric bill, which including my loan is higher than it was before. It's not even summer yet. I added a few things that use more electricity but from the get go I have never saw a benefit from getting solar panels. My bill was almost 400 dollars this month, I think we only used heater 3 or 4 days this month and a/c has been off and on not in constant use like normal. I have called Pure to get someone out to test the panels make sure they are working right and no one has called me back or set up an appointment. I had to repair my own roof because they installers missed the rafter 3 or 4 times and never fixed the hole that was put, so first rain came a leak instantly.

We got solar panels for our home from Pure Energy last year. The salesman explained that we will get a tax refund from the IRS which is 30% of the cost of the system. He stated that we would get around approximately $8,000 that we could either use to buy anything like a generator or pay Good Leap since our amortization will increase after a few months if we do not use the money we will get from the refund. Now that it’s tax filing season, we found out that there is NO tax refund but a tax credit that will actually be deducted from our TAX LIABILITY. If your tax liability is lower than the tax credit, then you would NOT get the rest of the money in a form of a tax refund just like how he explained to us. We do not have any tax liability since I am an employee and my husband is a military veteran who does not need to pay income tax. Now our amortization with Good Leap will increase and it will be a more burden for us. Do not make the same mistake of trusting Pure Energy.

Worst company ever

Well where do I start . I financed my loan through pure energy for my windows . It was not suppose to start until install . They started the loan two months early . Then they installed windows scratched up all my window seals then went outside today and they ruined a good amount of my flowers in my flower bed . Literally stepping on them to the ground . Not a lot of sympathy from this company the ceo is no different than the employees who say it’s not my department . I would never use this company again .

This company's business model apparently depends on defrauding the elderly. My Aunt in Corpus Christi (80 yrs old) entered into a contract with them for roof solar panels, new roof and generator. > $40k. They installed the solar panels but never installed a generator or new roof. My aunt has died and they're refusing to either install the new roof or take the price off of the outstanding balance.

I would rate is 0 stars if I could. They lied to us about how much we were paying and told us that even when the sun wasn't out our electricity would still work and that we will be paying less in the electric bill. But now we are paying both the solor and our current electric bill and we can't even cancel the contract. I hate you can only cancel things for 3 days we didnt even get our solor panels until 6 months later

Our sales person was deceitful. He promised us that our solar panels would produce more that enough energy to cover our electric bill! In fact, he even suggested that we contract with an electric company who could buy back the excess electric our panels would produce! Our energy production isnt even enough to cover HALF our electric bill! So now, our energy costs have increased by $250 a month because of our contract cost. What a rip off.

I have been with this company for just a little over a year and have not seen any savings on my electric bill. My last bill I paid $387, my mother who has no Solar's and has a bigger house than mine pays no more than $190. I have contacted the customer service about this and they were no help. I really think something is wrong with the Solar system and really need someone to come see it. All they did was try to explain my usage vs production but did nothing about sending someone to look at it and make sure its working properly.

Fraud company would rate 0. They sold me panels promised me lowered bills. Turned out the panels weren't enough they damaged my home during installation they never compensated or repaired it took years to get ahold of them they never have the same employees they blame every other department. When I asked for a refund they stop answering my calls texts emails. They were supposed to have the owner contact me and still nothing. I was robbed! My home damaged! I signed in August Part installation was done in December my panels weren't running till March extreme headaches

I got my panels installed last spring. Nothing I was promised on occurred. I was told that my panels would generate enough energy to off set the cost of the panels. Not true. I was told that I would receive a tax write of 8000. Not true. Only 1400. The kicker is that they pro rate the loan based off the full tax credit. So now I’m paying more money for the loan and still paying for electricity. The total cost is atrocious. Knowing what I know now I wouldn’t buy solar at the prices their charging.

I was working on a solar project with another company when these guys came to the door and promised a better deal. They quoted the project and all the numbers made sense, so I cancelled my in-progress project and signed up with them. They came back a week later and said they made a mistake and wanted 30% more to complete my project. "Error" in their system. Total scam, avoid at all costs.

Pay a big light bill still. Pay the solar panels for 25 years, and not enough panels anyway to make a difference because my estimate was not done during the hottest months of the year. Waste of time and money, I'll be dead before they get paid off and it never even made a difference.

Not a good company to do business with. They have bad sales tactics similar to car salesman. Unprofessional door to door pushy sellers. Many people have complained about the quality of the deal they received. Many were lied to and taken advantage of. Really bad communication and customer service.

Solar panels were installed on my roof two months ago and they still haven’t been connected to the grid. I’m also waiting for my battery backup to be installed. I can’t get any answers as to when the installation will be completed. I’m not happy.

Took forever to get my system operation after the install, have tried calling to get help with connecting my converter to the app to make it viewable, but haven’t received any so far! The rep that sold me on the system quit returning my texts.

They come to your house once to twice a week and have the same young men knock at your door, and they don’t care if there is no tresspassing or soliciting signs. When you ask them for literature or business card they don’t have one.
