Mid July 2018, we signed up for a solar system with Nergy Solar via rep Bill S. Bill was a smooth talker and made lots of promises – it seemed like a no brainer to buy into solar. (But now we know why he pushed for us to give him a 5 star rating on Google pages immediately following contract signing – we never heard from him after all the issues began - I am now updating my review)! Since that time there have been so many hiccups, delays and mis- or non-communications it has become ridiculous. And as I share this I see I am not the only one with major issues with this company. The following is just a synopsis of my experience. Communication with them has been confusing and appalling, for lack of better words. So in short, don’t deal with this company. For the longer version, read on. First, we signed up for the energy saving insulation package (which was several thousand $ extra – our first mistake), which was supposed to have x number of items included. We did not receive them all. It took several months talking to several people in the company before they finally agreed to reimburse a very small amount to us for our “inconvenience.” Second, the site surveyors were NO-Shows TWICE! And we was told it was a miscommunication on our part! During the survey, we found out that the amount of energy the battery would hold would not be enough to run our AC through the night – we would actually end up on the grid before sunrise. (Bill said our solar/battery would take care of everything except APS mandatory fees). To clarify this, we were directed to speak with James. James explained what the battery was actually for was to get us through the APS “peak” time. So basically our battery would only last til about 8pm then we’d be on the grid all night. Additionally, our AC would not be connected to the emergency power should there be an outage. So in short, Bill LIED about multiple points we believe to get us to sign a contract. When we told him what Bill had promised, he directed us to Bill’s boss Keith. We never heard from Keith, even after mentioning this issue to Val and Alex and a third person (don’t recall his name). They all basically said we must not have understood what Bill was explaining. No, there were 3 of us in the room when Bill gave us his spiel and answered our questions; he lied to us. Next, it took over 4 months to get the panels installed. After that, while waiting for the battery, we mentioned to at least 3 different people that Bill said we would need an upgraded electrical panel installed (ours is the 1979 original). All 3 of them told us that the “Master Electricians” looked at the photos the rep took and the panel was fine. The battery installers arrived, worked all day, but couldn’t finish because they did not have the correct fuse for the panel due to our panel being OLD (this tells us no one looked at the photos or they would have known which fuse to bring). They had to return another day after obtaining the necessary fuse to finish installation. Then there was another “miscommunication” regarding the city inspector appointment. Betty said it could take a few weeks; when Alex called to confirm the date we informed him Betty never called with a date. The next day (Dec 7) he texted stating there was no appointment. It took til 12/21 to get the inspection. And it FAILED because we need an upgraded panel! We are STILL waiting for that to happen. In the meantime, the payments have come due starting Jan 7, 2019 (we were told we would not pay a dime until the system is up and running). Another false statement. Now we are paying a solar bill AND the full APS charges. Since Dec 27 we have left voice and text messages with some of the numbers we have for Nergy Solutions and no response! That is what prompted us to start filing complaints and reviews hoping for a resolution.

If I could give zero stars I would. Summer was my sales rep and wow did she sell me some serious snake oil.I was told that with the number of panels and the two batteries I would only have a small fee that I paid to SRP each month. Now I am paying $250 for my system and oh my first bill was $400 with SRP. It is now down to $200. Funny thing is the most I paid in the summer before solar was $575. I was better off before solar. I purchased my solar in November of 2017 was connected completely in August 2018 started getting billed in March of 2018. Luckily, Valerie had the decency to reimburse me for the months I was not connected although I did only get reimbursed partially for the last month. Guess something is better than nothing. So fast forward to today.... while installing new lighting in my house my husband discovered that 90% of our house is not on solar. WTF am I paying $40000 for? I am so pissed right now. I would not recommend Nergy solutions to my worst enemy.

We purchased a solar panel and battery setup from Nergy Solar & Electric on 06/05/18. We were told that they were behind schedule for installs and it would not be started until the first week of August. The solar panel crew did arrive in the first week of August and did a horrible job installing the panels. They broke 25 roof tiles, spilled paint all over our brand new gate and pavers. The head installer had the audacity to shake my hand and tell me the install went great before I saw the damage they did. It took 6 weeks before they finally fixed the roof tiles but they have yet to fix the gate. Next the battery team came to do their portion and burned out a breaker which has yet to be replaced. We failed the city inspection due to their poor work and negligence and now we are stuck paying our power bill and solar loan payment which we were told would not happen. I have spoke with the new install manager, Nate, who assured me they would get it all taken care of. He told me he would be at my house personally on 10/13/18 to make sure everything is ready for re-inspection but he never showed and never called me back. When I called him on 10/16/18 he said he was busy putting out fires and forgot to call me. He then said the city came out on 10/16/18 and we passed our inspection but we were told that we had to be present to let the inspector in to view the battery which didn't happen so I'm assuming he lied. He is now telling me that it will be 2 more weeks until APS can be out to do their inspection. Horrible company with no integrity, GO ELSEWHERE FOR SOLAR!!! UPDATE: Since my review I was contacted by Don and Nate. They worked hard to get the breakers replaced and to get the system running. Our system was turned on 10/29/18 and they have had someone come out to pressure wash the paint off the pavers and reseal them. They also contacted a company to replace the boards on the gate. Alex at Nergy has gotten approval to have our first 2 solar loan payments reimbursed and Nate gave us a gift card for our troubles. The install process went poorly but they picked it up and got it taken care of like a company should so I have raised their rating to 3 stars.

I would discourage anyone from purchasing from N-Ergy solutions. They make a bunch of promises and scam their customers. I am paying $200 a month for their system that only produces 5kwh a day, when it should be producing much more (100kwh). So basicly my electric bill doubled. I pay the solar vendor $200 a month and I pay APS up to $200 a month in the summer. The contractor they used to install my solar, drilled holes completely through my wall, causing damage to an irreplaceable picture. My house was less than four months old when they did the install damage. Completely incompetent, from the sales guy to the customer service people to the install crew. They are all incompetent and their product is garbage. I would discourage anyone from using N-Ergy solutions solar. The disgustingly obese sales guy, Bill S talks a good game and is convincing. Don't buy in to his BS, he has no idea what hes talking about. Do research, find a decent solar company and installer. N--Ergy solutions out of Chandler, AZ is not the solar company to choose!

Bill S sold us nothing but a pipe dream! Full of promises that ended up being nothing more than lies. Now we live with a higher energy bill than we had before solar. Everything came out of the shadows once the system was up and running. Our mistake for not doing more research into this fraudulent company. Heed warning! Run if Nergy Solutions come knocking, not worth the headache. Sucks when companies like this take advantage of hardworking families for their own greed. Not a good way to do business!

I purchased a setup based on there calculations and no savings none. so now im paying my electric bill at a higher rate due to srp pricing for discouragement of solar and the solar setup that dosnt work no contact no solutions 5 months now no change. They guys that showed up to install the solar smelled like marijuana when they came to the door didnt even try to cover it up. I didnt have a good feeling after unit was installed . I had to disable the load controller because the unit was short cycling my ac wich over time would take out my Ac compressor thousands in potential damage.
