The only part I can say with proof is that they left the installation products sitting in front of our home for a month. Every time we scheduled to have them come out they would tell us it wasn't until the next week. I started writing down installation time the moment the office person told me what they scheduled. I would then call the day and time is was scheduled and they would tell me that I was wrong I what I wrote down. This happened once a week for three weeks after the first week initial week we waited. If it was gonna take a month, that's fine but I don't appreciate someone not owning the fact that they might have messed up. I took ownership that first week that maybe it was my fault until a few weeks later I noticed a pattern. The I installation was fine. The electricians were great, which from what I understand they can work for several different solar companies. Once the electricians got involved, the process actually seemed like it might come to an end. We regret going though this company. The final product was satisfactory, but the relationship side of things is hideous.

Zero continuity throughout the duratuon of the project. I went through three project managers over the 18 months it took to get the system installed and running. Needless to say, the time to complete the project took way longer than they said it would, and I ended up making payments on the loan before the contractors even broke ground. Contractor work was fine, however Horizon's communication with the work staff was slow and unclear, thus adding to install time. Horizon also failed on numerous occasions to properly communicate with local inspectors and power personnel. Even now they are still contacting me for serial numbers for parts they failed to catalog correctly. I'm glad I FINALLY have the system, and glad to be done with the installation process. I'm terrified of how they will handle maintenance in the future though, as this experience was extremely aggitating.

We didn't have a great experience with the whole process. The customer service was great and kept me informed with the process, however the rest of it was a disaster. I had two different companies. One company started it and a completely different company finished it because it was a disaster. They put in the anchors incorrectly and then we waited and then they went and got different permits for different things they didn't need and it was it was a mess. We've tried a couple times to contact them to further service the battery, but we haven't heard any response back from them so that's kind of a disappointment. So we have to look elsewhere.

I would not recommend this company to others. Our system was not turned on and functioning for months after their promised deadline. They would promise a call back and then never call. We would follow-up and they would continue to say someone would reach out to us to schedule the completion of our system. This went on for months until someone finally came to finish the installation/complete setup.

Horizon would call and be available to return calls up to the point they had the money. Once we tried to get them to finally get the solar turned on after months of trying, they wouldn't return our calls and we never heard from our project manager again. They didn't show up at scheduled times or even days(when we took off work and stayed home to be there), then would show up randomly without our knowledge and leave our gate open so our dogs ran off, not once but multiple times. It was a myriad of issues of this sort.

There was a lack of prompt communication about the need to reschedule. I had arranged to work from home for nothing on one day. The electrician and another crew member got into a fight in my garage. I was told I would get one month of credit for all the inconvenience. I haven't seen it yet and I e-mailed 2 weeks ago. I still haven't seen a response.

The sales person that came to my house seemed knowledgeable and seemed like a good fit. There was some good customer support there was also some very poor customer support. The installation process was for the most part good. Scheduling and getting all the the correct stuff wasn't necessarily smooth but the actual installation itself was once once everything was figured out. It took a lot of grief to get to that point.

The worst solar company. Every time I called them they said that they'll do something and never do it and never called back and never give you information on the solar update. They said they'd have it done in two months they didn't get it done on time and I still don't have my batteries and it's been six months since I had it installed so incomplete after six months. Don't use Horizon.

It was a terrible experience I'm not kidding. I wish that I never got into it. They did not do a very good job. It took almost six months to get this thing going, I was very unhappy and I've asked also for a paper records of what I received so I can have some proof of something and I don't know how many times I've asked, but I've got nothing. Sounded like a good deal but I am very disappointed.

I was promised things that they didn't deliver, such as a check for a thousand dollars. Kind of underhanded sales tactics. It took time too. Install was not that great actually. It made my house look like crap so I had them come back in and move it and make it more aesthetically pleasing. Other than that it was fine. I thought they were pretty dismissive of my concerns once they got the money in hand they don't really care, which is too bad because it's their reputation.

Lack of communication or response. Horrible. It was supposed to happen in March of last year they finally got turned on a week ago. And its been on my roof for almost two months sitting there doing nothing. It's outdated from everything I've been researching and been told by everyone in the solar industry here in Vancouver Washington. We were over charged. I'm never do business with them again.

You can't get a hold of nobody. Once they put up the solar they disappear and can't get a hold of somebody to get my issue resolved. I ended up buying the solar and they said they were going to do it online, then six months later they finally show up to do it and the installer did a great job.

Dealing with HorizonPWR has been an absolute nightmare. If I could give them zero stars, I would. From start to finish, this company has been nothing but a headache. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and completely incompetent. The installation was delayed for months, and when they finally marked it "complete," the panels were non-functional. It took almost a year to get them working, and even then, my electrical panel box started smoking the day after they were turned on! Their shoddy work could have caused a fire in my home. To make matters worse, the roof started leaking around the solar panels, and their so-called "repairs" were a joke. They sent people out multiple times, but the problem persisted. I had to climb into the attic myself to check for leaks because they couldn't be bothered to do a proper inspection. Their customer service is a disgrace. They rarely answer the phone, ignore emails, and have missed multiple scheduled appointments without even a courtesy call. And don't expect them to stand by their warranties or promises—they're just empty words. I spent a fortune on this solar system, and it has been nothing but trouble. HorizonPWR has left me with a barely functional setup, and I'm out thousands of dollars for repairs and reinstallation. They are a company that takes shortcuts at every turn and has no regard for their customers. Save yourself the stress and frustration—find another company. HorizonPWR is the worst in the business.

COMPLETE NIGHTMARE OF A COMPANY!!!! AVOID HORIZON PWR AT ALL COSTS!!! My experience with Horizon PWR has been nothing short of a disaster, and I feel compelled to share the details to save others from the agony I've endured. This company, chosen for the purchase and installation of my solar panels, has demonstrated a shocking level of broken promises, unresponsiveness, and sheer incompetence, leaving me exasperated and filled with regret. I signed my contract with Horizon PWR on April 27th, 2023, with Logan S as my sales rep, referred by my friend Jake. Logan promised a $500 referral fee for Jake and a $500 credit for me. While the initial installation met the estimated timing, issues began to surface soon after. Logan had sold me on a rebate program from the State of Oregon, claiming that funds initially earmarked for lower-income households were now available to all income levels. Logan assured me he initiated the rebate application on April 27th, 2023, a claim backed by verified text messages. However, when I inquired about the application on June 8th, Logan's response was vague, stating it was "Pending." Subsequent inquiries led to silence, with Logan eventually forwarding my email to Kelsey from the Customer Service team. In August, Kelsey informed me that their office had no record of the rebate application, and since the panels were already installed, I was no longer eligible. Despite presenting screenshots from Logan showing the pending application status, the company shrugged off my concerns. The rebate, promising up to $7,500 back, became a crucial part of my decision to shell out over $30,000 for this project. After countless attempts to resolve the issue, I filed an official complaint with the company, seeking a $5,000 refund. It has been over 3 months since I submitted that request and I have yet to receive any response. Logan reached out in December, claiming the application was submitted and declined back in April, but when I requested some sort of proof that it was actually submitted and declined, again he went silent and has not responded or provided any such proof to his claim. Dating back to that initial inquiry in June, I had also received a letter from Greentech Renewables, the supplier of the solar panels. In the letter they stated that they have a right to place a lien against my property if they are not paid by Horizon for the panels and suggested that I request a "Greentech Renewables Unconditional Final Release" form from Horizon PWR. When I inquired to Logan about the status of the State of Oregon rebate, I also inquired about this form. His response, and I quote . . . "That is voided now. It's only in the time the panels arrive and when they are installed". Ummmm, No! I responded back stating "But this refers to them (Greentech) being paid by the installer (Horizon) so how can I be sure that you have paid them for the panels and there is no possibility of a lien being placed on my property? That is why they recommended asking the installer for the final release for my records". I never received a response from Logan to this inquiry either. On August 16th, I received a notice that a lien had been placed on my home for $10,004.57 as Greentech had not been paid by Horizon. Now I am furious, but I am also concerned. I paid cash for my system up front (Big mistake). $30,210 and now I have a lien for another $10,000 on my home. What if Horizon goes out of business now, am I just out the extra $10k? After raising my concerns with the customer service team, they finally paid Greentech, and I had to chase down the lien release from Greentech myself. Thankfully, unlike Horizon PWR, they were very easy to work with and once they received payment, they provided me the lien release right away. Phew! As of December 15th, over 7.5 months after signing my contract and installation of the panels, my system remains inactive, having failed inspections multiple times due to the pure incompetence of Horizon PWR. Jake has yet to receive his $500 referral fee and I have yet to receive my $500 referral credit. My patience has worn thin, and I deeply regret ever engaging with Logan and Horizon PWR. The lack of professionalism, integrity and accountability displayed by this company is beyond unacceptable. My hope is that others learn from my ordeal and steer clear of Horizon PWR at all costs!

In regards to your complaint, we are deeply apologetic of the negative experience that you’ve had. We wish to come to a resolution that is fair to both parties while remaining in agreement with the contract that was signed.

In regards to the activation of the system. Installations and inspections can be a long and difficult process. However, the Horizon PWR team remains committed to activating your solar system, and is in the final stages of full activation. We maintain that we are in full accordance with the “DELAYS” section of our signed contract.

In regards to the referral credit promise. The “PROMISES” section of the signed agreement states: “Owner acknowledges the Developer is not responsible for any promises made between the Owner and Developer's representatives that is not explicitly written in the agreement and any offer made by the company outside of the agreement must be accompanied with an official addendum to the original agreement in order to be considered valid.” Furthermore, the company's $500 referral credit is meant for the referring party only, not the referee. However we have come to the agreement with our sales representative involved in your case, that because of the miscommunication and the promises made, the representative is willing and happy to pay you the amount of $500 as a gesture of goodwill.

In regards to the energy rebate. We apologize for the miscommunication and promise made by our sales representative. Some variables exist when calculating the amount of the rebate, such as your financial situation and cost of your PV system, therefore, the number provided by our sales representative was an estimate based on past customers. As was previously stated in the aforementioned “PROMISES” section of our contract, we believe we are not responsible for payment. However, as a show of goodwill, we have calculated and determined the amount that you would have actually received based on the cost of his PV system and income, and are willing to pay you that corrected amount of $1,350.

Again, we apologize for the overall negative experience that you’ve had with us. To summarize, we are willing to pay the revised calculated tax credit as a gesture of goodwill for a total amount of $1350, plus an additional $500 will be paid by our sales representative. We believe these amounts are fair to both parties in relation to the contract, and the promises made by our sales representative.

We look forward to resolving this case and providing you with monetary reconciliation.

I have never in my life had this much trouble with a company I expect by the end of this we're going to be going to court cuz even management doesn't seem to care to fix the problem To start things off when they were scheduled for my initial install they called two days prior and rescheduled two weeks out then they showed up out of the blue the morning the day of the original install no one had contacted me about this I was told my system was up and running and they would contact me about the next step over a month later I still hadn't heard back I took the initiative and called them they didn't have a clue what was going on they told me that my system was done and just had to schedule the inspection but they didn't know how to go about doing it Called back a few days later got someone else on the phone said the same thing except he knew how to get the inspection scheduled scheduled me an inspection like a week and a half out I sat around waiting for the inspector to show up and this is one of the only calls I actually got from Horizon over the course of several months I got a phone call saying that they had a misunderstanding with the equipment and my system required a battery backup system which I was adamant about not wanting they insisted I either had to have it or get a total of 50 solar panels Long story short I've been having to call them 2 to 3 times a week constantly rescheduling because no one ever shows up to get these battery backup system that I did not want but they keep telling me they're doing me a favor by giving me free battery backup system cuz they screwed up but what good do these battery backups do when I can't use the solar at all So about a week ago when I called and scheduled another appointment that once again they did not show up when I talked to him I told them that if this kept up I was going to have no choice but getting an attorney and higher a competing company to finish the job and send Horizon the bill and I was told oh we'll get the job done The last day they were supposed to show up for this install I was told they'd be here by 11:00 in the morning I waited till 1:00 and called they said they were just finishing a job and would be over shortly this was a couple days ago
