By way of a quick self-introduction, I was a manufacturing engineering manager for a well-known medical device company. I trained production people to work as members of high-performance, self-directed teams. Three things interested me concerning High Definition Solar. They were a diamond level company. They sold a robust modular designed product. In addition to saving money on electric bills, I was also increasing the net worth of my house. When working with the company on getting my panels up, I determined that, indeed, they were diamond level in performance. Every employee that I communicated with had customer satisfaction as a prime goal. All the company employees I saw worked well together. And the company was honest and up-front. No hidden bills or frills. They tell you exactly what you'll get, what you'll pay and when. I highly recommend High Definition Solar to anyone considering going solar. It's a good deal and this is a great company to take you through to the end painlessly.

The High Definition Team was courteous, professional, and efficient. Luke C, Sales Manager, took time to answer all our questions. Cody B, Project Manager, evaluated placement of the panels for best possible production and electrical compatibility. We appreciated his reassurance that our fairly new steel roof would be okay. Issac V and his installation team did a great job. There was a slight delay connecting with PG&E NEM. They did not receive the correct permit release document. The situation was quickly correct as soon as it came to light. Due to COVID-19, we have not received training on the system and how it works with PG&E. Will look forward to a visit once the "stay at home" is lifted. We will recommend.

The sales presentation was good and the salesperson was very informed and professional. No pressure was given during that first meeting. All we had to do was analyze the PG&E bills to determine how many panels were needed. The project manager was punctual and knowledgeable, and overall it was very quick. He also made sure to let us know what to expect in the next steps. He explained the entire install process and they handled the permits for us. They said that the installers could take a couple of days but it went by in a day and a half. They were prompt and on-time. They had to find areas for the grounds and it was out of the way and smooth. City Inpectors passed the installation immediately. PG&E took some extra time getting things hooked up but things got sorted out eventually. We get a monthly report for the generation and we can see what we produce daily. Everything is very transparent. The panels are producing great.

We had a great experience with High Definition Solar. All appointments were made at our convenience. My Husband and I were looking into installing solar panels, but had many questions. When the canvassers came to our neighborhood, I felt it was a great opportunity to get the questions answered. I set up an appointment with the Sales Rep, who was extremely knowledgeable about the process, the hardware, even types of financing available to us. We chose to go through the CA state PACE program, which made the whole process go even more smoothly. We did not feel pressured into making a decision, so it felt right when we did. The fact that we were both there to make the decision together, was a plus in my mind. The project manager came in, inspected the roof, drew up a design and then set up the installation and inspections. The installation went quickly and smoothly, They had said my husband did not need to be there, but some questions did come up, and it was a good thing he was there to answer them. The city inspector gave a two hour window for his arrival. I was impressed that the installer waited patiently in his truck until the inspector arrived. The inspection was quick and successful. There was small glitch with paperwork, so that the PG&E connection took a little longer than normal. There were also some post install questions that took a little effort to get answered. I recommend that the Customer Service number be given directly to the owner, at the end of install, and that it be made clear all questions should be directed there. Fortunately, we had kept the pamphlets and found the number there. Once we contacted the Customer Service Rep all has gone well. He has been great about keeping in touch with us. We started saving money on our PG&E bill immediately after it was connected. My husband and I both are happy with our decision, and recommend this company.

Each phase of the process with High Definition Solar actually went very smoothly. No real issues to speak of to be honest. A few months after installation I had a situation where I called to have something done and didn't receive an immediate call back. When I did call to get an answer on my initial question two weeks later, I found out that the issue had been taken care of but I just wasn't told. The second person I spoke to called back about 10 min later and informed me that everything had been taken care of. That's really the only bump in the road I've run into though. I'd do business with them again.

A very over whelming experience, the idea of solar energy as the way of the future is what we believe is the way to go. Working with High Definition made the process easy and understandable. For us we knew capturing the sun power and putting it to good use would reduce our carbon footprint was a great idea. But understanding the solar system was another story. Yes, all the companies produce nice literature about their system and how great it works , but, High Definition gave us the feeling. They spoke with confidence and belief they were onto something worth our interest. We felt these guys were the ones for us and we have been very happy since we did. The sales team, to the project manager, to the installers, we knew they were a team and we were important to them. The sun power we capture will remain out of our control the equipment we choose is in our control and High Definition Solar company is the one.

The first sales person would have been fired if he was my employee, however after receiving a call from the company and arranging a second appointment things began to smooth out. The second person that came to my home was very good to work with , he went over every thing, explaining how the system would work, how it could be financed and what would be involved in the installation . A site investigator was the next person that I spoke with, he arrived on time(big thing) and went over the how and where the installation would be done. The crew arrived on schedule and the system was mostly finished the first day, on the second day the job was completed and signed off by the city inspector. I have had contact with the personal on the company office a couple of times with a few questions and have found them to be very friendly and always have answers to any questions that I may have had.

These guys are the real deal. They installed my solar system in 2013, and I've been thumbing my nose at PG&E ever since. The product is water-tight, and the service is above excellent. I had a really minor issue with the energy reporting system and called to be walked through to a solution, and the Customer Service Manager insisted on driving from Concord to Foster City to solve an issue that had nothing to do with energy collection. Wow! I was amazed that any company would go to those lengths to turn a very happy customer into an ecstatic one - especially when there was no revenue attached to the call. Talk about service. I can't recommend High Definition Solar enough. They are the best. I

This company has been very Professional to deal with. Their Installers did such a Great job, paid attention to all the small details, took pictures for me , painted conduit, All looks great. Sales person was a very nice and personable Young man that answered all my questions. Honestly this whole project went like Silk .. Smooth with no issues, and I did not just get the job done , I have had it over a year. I even had a Follow visit from a Customer Relationship Manager that came to make sure I understood everything and see how I was. He even gave me some tips on how I can continue to conserve my Energy usage.. True, True Professionals

Someone knocked on our door from High Definition Solar soliciting solar. As anyone we are very cautious when dealing with a business offers from door knockers. The lady was quite pleasant and informative. We accepted their appointment and then met with their sales person. The sales person was very professional and a great teacher when explaining solar. We decided to do business and have solar put onto our roof. We then met with their project manager at our home. He explained what the next steps were in the process. Two weeks after meeting with the project manager our solar was on our roof. The installers were clean and professional. After the project was over we met with their customer service rep. This was quite nice to have someone actually follow up after the project was completed. We are satisfied with our decision to do business with High Definition Solar. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. This was a great experience!

My wife and I had an excellent experience with the HDS team. From a very friendly and thorough initial consultation, to project scheduling and management, to install, it was a very seamless and easy experience. The only minor hiccup was that our electrical panel needed to be upgraded, which added an extra day to the install (we were made aware before purchase that this might be required pending inspection). I would certainly recommend the team at HDS, given the level of professionalism and value of the product/work done.

Sean O did an outstanding job of answering all our questions, and not once did I feel that he was being dishonest or attempting to deceive us or hide anything. Dan, the project manager, was on-time and had the permits right away, installation was able to start the following week. The install team did very clean work, and were in and out in a single day. I knew I wanted to get solar and not sure exactly now how I connected with High Definition Solar but I'm glad I did. The sales presentation was complete, the contractor, Jason, took care of all documentation needed by the city and my HOA and he kept in touch with me regarding any delays. The install went smoothly but the BEST part and the reason I gave them a 10 was because of the follow up by Robert who came out and showed me how to access the online data, how to read and understand my PG&E bill especially the part about the true up concept. After reviewing the risks and benefits (mostly benefits) of going solar, we purchased a system from them nearly 2 years ago and upgraded it 6 months later. We have been very pleased with the professional manner with which this was accomplished and with the ongoing support we have received. We were especially pleased that they are also a roofing company since their warranty also covers our roof. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a solar panel installation.

Great experience. Full explanation at sales, didn't push to get more panels than I really needed. They kept in touch all through, and handled all permits, interface with PG&E, etc. Good financing options offered. Installation went well, even used my paint to touch up the conduit. Had a post installation followup visit to go over all and what to expect.

About a month ago, a salesman for High Definition Solar came to the house and started his sales talked. He said that in about 10 yrs or so, our electric bill will probably come up to a $1000 a month due to rising PGE rate. He computed our average monthly kwh usage which came out to 813kwh and then he suggested that we should have 2.8kwh solar system installed which would cut our kwh usage in half. I guess he knew what he was talking about so I did not argue but it cost me more than $28000. I wonder if he overcharged me big time with underpowered solar system. I am just wondering if the other solar companies charge a lot less than High Definition Solar. I have the name of the salesperson who came to the house. After 25 years, I won't still recoup my expenses.

These guys are crooks. High pressure sales people selling undersized solar systems, at prices 2x the industry average. Under no circumstances should you sign up with this company prior to getting other bids. They also have a lovely habit of preying on the elderly. If you find out your parents or grandparents are looking at this company please get involved.
