After installation, I would have given Green Solar 5 stars. Green Solar was fabulous on the front end...everything went exactly as promised. However, one year later I noticed that that solar production had dropped to less than 50% of the previous year. When I called Green Solar, they promised a maintenance/repair service. But because I don't live in an urban area, I am still waiting 4 weeks later for Green Solar maintenance to show up, and they are waiting for a "national manager" who might be "in the area" (6 hours away) to arrive in two weeks to look at my system. Meanwhile, I continue to lose solar productivity for my electric company to bank against my utilization! Beyond frustrated....

This review concerns green solar technologies. This company designs the system and hires another outfit to install it. The first sales person I dealt with came across to me like a tire kicking used car salesman. He spoke quickly and was somewhat pushy. I insisted on working with a second person, and she was great. She was patient, she listened. It felt like she cared about me as a customer.Your website has confirmed that the inverter and the solar panels that green solar used are top-notch. But after the system was up and running I began to notice that two of the panels were not performing the same as the other panels. I spoke with the installation company. My rep there did about a 15 minutes study and concluded that two of the panels were partially in the shade of my neighbor's house. The installation company referred me back to green solar to discuss the issue. On January 11th 2019 I spoke with the rep I liked from Green solar. She referred me to her operations manager. I left a message for the operations manager and to this date have not received a return call. I then responded to a green solar email asking me to rate their service. I explained the problem in that return email and was called by a representative of green solar who said that customer service would call soon. They did not call. Later, I called the representative I enjoyed working with. She no longer worked there and referred me to another employee. I called him on for April 26th 2019 and he has not returned my call. On May 1st 2019 I did a live chat with the employee who responded to the email rating. He assured me that he would make sure that customer service calls me, but to allow 48 hours for that call. It is now May 5th 2019 and I have not received a return call.

They have been helpful with problems we have had. My complaint is that I had them installed in July they did not get it correct until December of that year. Now they do say they will reimburse me for the payments that I had to make while I was not able to actually use the panels but I did not get anything for the missed credits I should have gotten during the most productive part of the year. Now that they have been up for most for the beginning of December 2023 we have not had a problem with them working. GHS has been in contact through the issues but there was about a month and a half that I did not hear from them nor did they respond to messages or calls that I made to get anything going. Once it started costing them money they did get right on taking care of the problems.

Getting set up for financing was easy, my only concern is when I had a problem with my system I have a hard time connecting with someone to help.
