At first I was skeptical that solar would work, but after I got my first bill my concerns were gone. I only had the panels for half the billing cycle and still had a negative electric bill! I have gotten quotes from pretty much every solar company servicing Ohio. No one was more helpful friendly and knowledgeable than Jake with Gold Path Solar. It took my wife and I some time to decide to move forward with solar and during that time Jake was very helpful without being pushy. Moving forward with Gold Path Solar was the best decision we could have made. We were not passed off to a third party company as so many solar providers do. We worked with Jake the entire time. He kept us informed the entire time, even if it was just to let us know we were still waiting on permits. When issues arose not only were we informed right away, but solutions were presented to us. He noted that we had a no soliciting sign, and asked if he could just leave us some information about the product. We agreed and he was on his way. After looking into the information Gunner provided we were connected with Adam, who we now know is a co-founder of the company and were again pleasantly surprised by his professionalism, knowledge, and courtesy. After a meeting with Adam where he discussed the American-made solar panels Gold Path uses, the company's commitment to building long-term customer relationships, and the potential cost savings on our electric bill, we struggled to see a downside, so we set up our site survey. Matt conducted the survey a few weeks after our initial consultation with Adam and he was just as amazing as we had come to expect from Gold Path's employees. We had our 17 panels installed yesterday by a team of 2 guys - Justin and Wilmer. It only took a few hours and we barely knew they were here. They were great with our dogs and thoroughly cleaned up after the install (they even borrowed my vacuum at one point when they were done with our attic access). Solar without a headache or regrets. Financing was easy and flexible. From the beginning Adam Hay and his team walked me step by step through the process. The install team was very friendly and courteous. I was truly amazed at how they installed my unit in such a quick time and even double checked their work before leaving. After the install I received the final step by step proceed and everything went quickly.

Gold Path Solar - OUTSTANDING from start to finish! I will use one word to describe our experience with Gold Path Solar: OUTSTANDING!!! I have been thoroughly impressed with Gold Path Solar and they were OUTSTANDING in completing our home’s solar installation project. From start to finish, they have been stellar. They have been conservative, never over-promised, and actually delivered on everything promised. They never took the word of another company for things (me telling them that another company said “this or that could be done”), they always confirmed details for themselves before committing to anything. They wanted to make sure they were able to deliver on everything they promised. And they did! We received several proposals and quickly found that there are many dishonest companies out there. It was refreshing to deal with Gold Path Solar – they were always honest and transparent throughout the process. They were one of the only companies to come up with an innovative solution to maximizing the number of solar panels we could fit on our roof and keep an access to service our skylights in the future so panels wouldn’t have to be removed to service the skylights. From the start, Gold Path’s approach was 2nd to none. They confirmed everything so there were no surprises. They clearly thought things through from start to finish, anticipating any potential issues, proactively developed plans to solve them, and implemented their plan flawlessly. Their meticulous detail in planning really gave me the peace of mind to proceed with the project. Gold Path actually matched the lower price of another company we were initially considering. They had great reviews, 25 year labor warranty, price matching, and meticulous detail – making them the logical choice for us. We had 1 point of contact (Jake) from start to finish (and beyond). That was nice since we knew who to contact for any questions regarding anything. Any questions or requests were always followed up on promptly – even after hours or weekends. The more I researched, there were tons of questions – Jake was knowledgeable and always reachable (phone, text, email). He seemed to always have the answers. He was always honest and transparent, in the few rare instances he didn’t know something specific, he’d promise to find the answer and get back with us – which he always did promptly. I’m super picky, so pleasing me can difficult, but I’ve been “blown away” by Gold Path’s approach and follow through. The quality/workmanship of the work by the crew performing the installation was phenomenal. They devoted 2 days to our installation, saying that it likely could be done in one, but wanted to make sure they had enough time not rush and do it right. Their installation crew was very knowledgeable and was able to handle any of the issues that come up with construction projects and kept me updated along the way. We wanted an aesthetically pleasing installation and they were able to keep all the wiring for our project concealed, so there are no conduit runs on the roof between groups of panels on the different roof surfaces and no conduit from the roof down to the disconnect box on the rear of the house - only 2 companies would commit to these things, most simply said they would “try” to do it. It wasn’t easy, and I was impressed how they accomplished it, and they took the time to do it right. We were beyond impressed by Gold Path’s workmanship, quality, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right. They completed the job as promised, with high quality, and there were no surprises. We are VERY pleased with how our solar project turned out. Everyone from the owner to each member of the crew truly seemed to take pride in their efforts and pride in their team. We’ve had solar for 6+months and Alex still reaches out to make sure everything is going well. GPS does a great job through the entire process of setting clear, realistic expectations. They answered all of our questions and really walked through the process with us. The true cost of the project was explained, activation fee and what the real life value of the panels would look like. Now having had the panels for over 6 months, we are really happy with our whole experience.

Gold Path Solar is a very professional company. Their Sales team took the time to not only explain the benefits, but also about the technology itself. Incredible service! I should’ve done this years ago! Don’t choose anyone else! My wife and I worked with Alex on this and he did an incredible of sitting down with us and going over everything from how it works, to how the monthly billing goes, and then even all the installation questions I had. Even post installation I had a couple questions for him and every time he picked up the phone and was happy to answer or get me an answer if he didn’t know off the top of his head. We’ve been really happy with solar and recommend it to anyone that will listen.

I needed to repair the wiring between my solar panels and the inverter after squirrels chewed through the original wires, leaving them exposed on the roof. Gold Path Solar promptly stepped in and installed new, well-shielded wires. They did an outstanding job in a timely manner!
