Their installers destroyed a new, 2-month-old roof. Each repair attempt was ludicrous and ultimately resulted in a leak that was so severe the ceiling inside the house caved in. The roof was finally replaced and solar reinstalled and we are whole, but it took months and lawsuit threats to get it accomplished. Never again.

Was told that my system would run 100% of my electric needs, but now I am just paying a slightly discounted electric bill and a solar system bill at the same time for the next 25 years.

Freedom Solar Power's customer service is pretty bad. I wasn’t impressed with how they handled my issue. I think it is also expensive for the value.

Really good equipment though I am a little worried it is undersized for my house. Customer service is prompt and knowledgeable but the experience could be more positive.

We signed a contract with FSP for a 10kw solar panel installation with battery backup in 2Q22. After waiting approximately 5 months for design/permits, the installation crew arrived and immediately informed us that the system we requested couldn't be installed on our older home built in 1935. Calls to the Company were not returned, and we were left in the dark regarding what remedial steps might be required before the installation might proceed. All of this could have been avoided if the site inspection engineer had been forthcoming during his initial visit to our home.

We liked the panels for the first few months but some have stopped working and we can’t get anyone out to do the repairs despite repeated calls

Install went great until a minor glitch that did get resolved. Paid our final bill and never got the closeout packet we were supposed to receive. So now we have no information about our system and how it works.
