My experience with this company has been nothing short of a disappointment, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. Initially, I was impressed with the sales team. The salesperson was responsive, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service. However, after the sale was made and I was transferred to the service team, I encountered several issues. For the past five months, I have been unable to enjoy the benefits of the solar panels I purchased. 1) The installation process was marred by a lack of communication. The crew would come and go for two and a half weeks without any prior notice, leaving me in the dark about their schedule. This lack of communication continued even after the installation was complete, leading to confusion about whether my system had been turned on or not, and further delaying the finalization of the installation. 2) After the installation, many of the panels were not aligned, and the brackets that held the panels were not even. I had to contact the company and request they come back out. The crew arrived with a bad attitude and semi-fixed the issue. 3) The system was marketed to me as one that would generate enough energy to cover my highest bill plus 10%. However, since the system was installed, I have been making additional payments on top of my loan, amounting to an extra $100-$200 each month. I then began trying to work with the service department to determine what was wrong. After my initial contact with their service person, I had to follow up for three weeks to get a response. They then had a crew come out to inspect the system. The crew found that one of the main cables was not correctly installed, which did not allow the system to produce sufficient energy. They stated that the issue had been fixed and that they would monitor it to ensure it was producing enough energy. Given that the issue was caused by an improper installation, I requested reimbursement for the additional expenses I incurred. I submitted this request to their accounting department, but unfortunately, it was rejected. I then escalated the issue and requested a reconsideration. Despite my numerous follow-ups over the past five weeks, I have yet to receive a response from the company. I have been trying to call this company directly for several weeks, but all I get is that no one is available at this time; please leave a message. I have left messages but have not heard back from anyone. I have been working with Millica from Energy Harbors customer service. Multiple follow-up emails and calls with zero responses. I highly discourage anyone looking for solar to use this company. I have only had problems from the start, and from their actions, it appears that they are not looking to rectify this issue. There is no accountability. I have had friends and family get solar, and they have had none of these issues. Do your research and find a reputable company that will support you through the process. I hope someone in their corporate office sees this review and contacts me to help resolve it.
