I finally realized that it was time to get solar so I did a lot of research and analyzed 14 of the biggest and best rated companies and their proposals. I'm in the construction industry so all aspects were important to me: price, quality, products, warranty, service and the company's longevity. I decided to go with Solar Optimum for the following reasons: 1) They had the best or very close to the lowest price of all proposals and I had them all quote the same system/products, 2) The quality of the company, salesman, products and installation are fantastic, no complaints at all, 3) I wanted the best panels and inverters and they promote them: Panasonic panels, Enphase microinverters (there are a couple other panels that are just as good/slightly better but more expensive), 4) They have the best warranty available covering every aspect - 25 years on everything! Only two other companies offered this but were much more expensive, 5) Service was top notch from sales, to scheduling, to corporate support, through installation and completion, 6) Company has been in business for a much longer time than most and do a ton of commercial solar which comforts me that they will be around during the next residential downturn or recession. No hesitation giving 5 stars and no complaints.

I have always been interested in solar energy and have friends that currently use solar to power their home. After hearing about how much money it saved them in utility bills I was shocked at the long-term return and investment. So, of course, after discussing with my husband we decided to look into it ourselves further and set up a consultation with Solar Optimum - which is one of the solar companies we kept hearing about that came highly recommended. After our initial meeting, I was able to have a lot of my questions answered, as this is a big investment for us so we wanted to make sure about making the right decision. For someone who didn't know much about solar when first deciding to look into it, Solar Optimum was the perfect choice. From day one their communication, assistance and patience was incredible. They answered every question I had (and the ones I didn't know I had), and they never tried to push any product or service on me. I had my solar system installed, and I could't be more pleased with the process or the end result. Not once did I experience any problem, Sean was accessible any time I had any questions or concerns, and everything went exactly according to plan. I was referred to this company from a friend that was very happy with his system. I got a quote from them and from two other companies to compare. Optimum was by far the best price for what they where giving me. I still got a few references from them and I contacted them and they where all very happy with this company. I decided to sign the contract and move forward with them.
I have to say from day one the customer service was emasculate. The manager that was overseeing my project Arpiar was amazing. Calling me with updates with the city and time lines. When the project started they sent three installers exceptionally professional and knowledgeable.
They finished the project in 4 days. I was shocked. The did a very clean job and I was very happy with them. The owner even showed up two times to make sure I was very happy with the way things where going. They definitely exceeded my expectations. Very quality company.
I will definitely refer them to friends and family.
I appreciate all that you guys did.

I did a lot of research when I decided I wanted to get solar for my home. I was referred to Solar Optimum by a friend of mine that used them. I got a few different quotes from the top few companies, but price was not the only factor I was going with to make my decision. The quality of service and reliability of the company was also a big factor for me. Solar Optimum was definitely the lease expensive of the top companies, but I was kinda worried about there service I would receive. I looked at their reviews and I realy liked what people where saying about them. I was impressed!
So finally after some more research and asking other friends that had recently gotten solar for their home... I decided to go with Solar Optimum.
I can not say in words how happy I am with every aspect of my experience with them. They have great people that come to your house to set it all up, they are super organized, reliable, and everything was explained to me beginning to end which I realy appreciated.
I would recommend them to everyone and I have already referred my brother and another close friend.

I was a bit skeptical in choosing a local installer over a larger, well know national company until I met with Alex at Solar Optimum. I called on a Friday and was able to get an in-home appointment that same Sunday which was great! Alex explained solar to me in a way that made perfect sense. No confusion, no gimmicks and no games. I appreciated that. When it was all said and done, I chose a Panasonic solar system with the Enphase Microinverters. Solar Optimum's 25-years warranty was the game changer. No other company offered the same scale of warranty like Solar Optimum. Very happy with my decision.

I see why Solar Optimum gets good reviews, because I have so many positive things to say about them, their customer service and the way they handled my solar installation. I was nervous about approaching a solar company with the very limited knowledge I had - I was scared that they were going to take advantage of that. But that was not the case. Mike was great at explaining everything to me, and even when I stalled for days with new questions almost every day, he was patient and answered politely. I ended up purchasing Panasonic panels and I have no regrets. Finally I'm able to money on my utility bills.

We moved to Southern California from Northern California where we had solar on our house, so we knew everything worth knowing about the benefits of solar and the price level we could expect ( we also did research of course because times have changed ), so we appalled by the treatment we received from some of the companies we talked to. We were given the run around and misquoted on our system size when we inquired, but not by Solar Optimum. Everything they told us matched what we already knew - and they were not trying to up sell or push anything on us. Very honest and efficient, we highly recommend them.

Solar was a good idea for me because we used a lot of power at my home. I had a lot of devices plugged in and since I had a babysitter home most of the day the TV and AC ran around the clock. I started to meet with companies I hope to find a way to reduce my monthly spending. I met with one of the reps at Solar Optimum who came by with a great presentation. He had all sort of ways of helping me understand the work that would go into my build. I felt really comfortable moving forward with them and they did not let me down. My system looks great and brings me all the power I need and sometimes more. They have installed a monitoring system that I can use to see my daily consumption. All this was more than I expected.

I was going to go with Solar Optimum about 3 years ago but couldn't afford it at the time. Now 3 years later I called Solar Optimum and 2 other companies and Solar was still the best. I had been going back and forth since July with the financing and finally decided on one. Eric was awesome throughout the signing of the contract because it was a chunk of money and I had to be sure I was doing the right thing. He called me whenever I needed to ask him questions. We finally signed the papers in September 2018 for a 9.9kw with battery backup. Solar Optimum sent the best people out to do the job on 11/20/18 and where done by 11/23/18. All the guys that came out were great and the work they did looks wonderful.
The one I was very impressed with was Kim the Site Technician. She came out today to make sure everything was good for the City Inspection that is coming on Monday. She got me connected to the Tesla site on my cell phone that shows me what is being used by the grid and what is being used by the solar. She helped me to understand the system and how it works. She was amazing, very patient and answered all my questions so I think I know what I am looking at and what its doing. You guys have a great employee there.
This company was great and I would recommend them to everyone that wants to hear about solar. You guys aced it. God Bless and Happy Holidays.

After we moved to our home, we decided to look into solar to see if we could save some money on our electric bill. Solar Optimum was the third company we called, and we talked to Mark, who was extremely patient with us and took the time to answer all our questions. Some of them, he even answered before we had to ask, because he knew what information we needed. We called two companies afterwards, just to compare prices, but it was an easy choice to go for Solar Optimum because they were obviously the best! And we have not regretted that decision! We bought Panasonic system with the Enphase inverter and we very happy with the result. The system is actually overproducing, so we're now getting money back from our utility company.

I wanted to go solar for a long time but didn't think I could afford it. I started researching with companies after seeing a lot of my neighborhood was going in that direction. I met with a few reps who didn't seem to know a lot about the process which left me feeling uncomfortable. My experience with Solar Optimum was a total opposite. They had so much information to share with me and I found it easy to understand. They told me of added incentives and rebates that made the whole process easier to deal with. I am glad I went with Solar Optimum I ended up saving money on my bills and on my install.

We purchased our solar system from Solar Optimum earlier this summer and have been more than pleased with the results we're experiencing. Our utility bill was averaging about $275 to $300 per month for the last two years. Completely out of control and we felt it was time to do something about it. We found Solar Optimum on Yelp and read their reviews which lead us to call and book an appointment with Sean, the solar consultant. From the very beginning, Sean and Silva ( Coordinator) were so friendly and knowledgeable. I work in customer service and these two are experts in what they do--trust me. Overall, I would grade the process a 9 out of 10. A few slight delays through the design approval process but can't say enough about their knowledge, friendliness and customer service. Installation was smooth and they were able to turn the system on pretty quickly. 5-Star a A grade for Sean, Silva and Solar Optimum.

Since Solar Optimum installed our panels over 2 years ago, our electric bill has been $2.20 a month (the cost of hooking us up to the LADWP grid). In addition, the panels have been so efficient, that I received a few hundred dollars in credits for over producing electricity last year. I run my air-conditioner for at least 6 months of the year. I am very happy with their service, with their follow-up to questions I have, and with the stability of the company.
Once the installation was completed (which always takes longer than they say, with any solar company because of the number of permits and LADWPs lag time in reviewing permissions), and the monitoring system was installed, and we were hooked up into the grid, you can forget about it. All we have to do is rinse the panels off with a hose about every 3 to 6 months, depending on whether there is any rain.
I highly recommend this company.

I knew I wanted solar panels on my home so I found Solar Optimum. I was very pleased with Solar Optimum. Their team of sales experts walked me through all the different financing and purchasing options of solar panels along with the different brands of panels. They laid it out clearly and gave me a break down of the project.
The installation team arrived on time and finished within a day. I just had to wait for the DWP to come and inspect the work which too a bit of time. I am now glad I have solar panels that are warrantied for the next 25 years. Looking forward to being green.
If you are looking into solar, Solar Optimum will be a good way to go.

As I was searching for a top solar company in SoCal, I came across Solar Optimum on the Energy Sage website. I received quote from 5 different installers and the range of products and pricing was a bit overwhelming. Solar Optimum seemed to have the best offering and so I met their sales consultant to discuss my energy goals especially because I have a pool and an electric vehicle that consume a lot of energy. From start to finish, I was impressed with the simplicity of the solar process. They made things easy to understand and manageable. I never felt rushed with them and the staff was always attentive. Now that the system is turned on, we've saved thousand of dollars this year in electricity. All thanks to the Optimum crew.

It took me 3 months to research and evaluate Solar Companies before I came across Solar Optimum. It was not so much about lowest price wins the deal but actually the technology behind it. So I probably had 3 to 5 estimates with the top installers in my local area of Long Beach and 2 from Los Angeles area. So I met with Eric from Solar Optimum and what really blew me away was that he offered a product that just came out that month I had my Solar installed, other competition still were processing it and were not available. Lastly another thing that stand out was that their warranty was pretty intensive up to 25 years while the competition only wants to do it for 10 years.
Installation had no hiccups. Another key factor in any installation is communication. Updating or telling the installer your concerns in advance helps the process. Eric guided me with the process clearly. The city inspection was smooth and no issues. I had an upgraded 200 amp panel too in the process since my panel was 100 amp. The installation was very clean not only in the roof but my main panel area. I also had stucco work done because of my newer panel, but they also have a masonry specialist to clean up any work after. He even match my wall paint after the stucco repair.
I highly recommend this company.

For the longest time now I have heard a lot of buzz about solar. I kept noticing panels on people homes but never researched enough to find out. When my friend installed his I decided to ask him about it. He had so many good things to say that I decided to try out the same people. I called Solar Optimum and they quickly setup one of their guys to come over and show me how they could help. I knew my friend wouldn't have gone with this if it wasn't worth it so I decided to make the change. They installed my system in fairly short time. Soon as it was on I noticed the change it brought to my pocket book. On top of the great work they offered my friend a handsome referral fee for mention them to me. What an amazing company.

I was looking for an experienced solar installer and consultant to walk me through the energy process. I came across the team at Solar Optimum from my cousin across town who had a system installed a little over a year ago. Probably like most, I'm all for saving money on utility bills but was concerned about the look and aesthetics of panels on my roof. Didn't want it to show from the front facing part of my house. I'm glad I called Solar Optimum because they took care of my concerns and were particularly detailed from the design to installation and now with the performance. If you have any reservations about going solar at your house, put them to rest and call these guys at Optimum.

I was looking for a solution to my monthly electrical charges that was as hassle free as possible. I got on a few sites and started comparing offers. While most sounded similar in many areas I decided too look a level deeper. I wanted someone who truly understood the field they were in. I read so many reviews that spoke highly of solar optimum. I requested a meet with them and was impressed from the get go. They had a firm understanding of both what I was looking to accomplish and how they could make that a possibility. We went over many design until finally I was happy with the end result. They soon began work which happened so seamlessly I couldn't have asked for a better crew. We were a bit skeptical in the beginning to take a Solar Optimum into consideration. Our monthly high bills however pushed us to take a risk and trust these guys and oh boy did it not pay us back greatly.
After weeks of research and carefully studying many companies and their service, we finally decided to give this company a chance. And it astonishingly surprised us. Our monthly bills have decreased tremendously ever since we had them install the panels and we have been absolutely happy with our choice. The service installation went pretty fast and ever since we had the panels installed, there have been no problems. Our experience so far has been nothing but great until further updates.

I had just remodeled my home and was looking for a company that could build this new addition to my home without leaving scars. I had met with several companies, many which could not deliver the custom look I was after. When I finally met with Sean from Solar Optimum he went through every aspect of my system ensuring what could and could not be done. When looking for a company to work with I search for many things. I look for a company who is ethical, has good business practice and ultimately enjoy what thry you do. I got all these from solar optimum. It was a pleasure dealing with them through and through. The initial phone call provided me with more information than any other company I had called. The crew took the utmost of care with my home while they were on my property making sure they left my home looking the way it did, minus my new solar system. What a world of difference to finally talk to a professional and experienced company who was able to speak honest about my utility saving and roof situation. I spoke to two other companies before calling optimum and each of them gave me a quote by phone without ever coming to my house to at least look at my roof. I realized the technology is there to do that but i told these companies that the roof maybe in bad condition and that the google satellite is not accurate . After hearing about optimum from a friend, I spoke to Silva and she booked a consultation the very next day for me with Armando. He actually came to my home and was able to inspect my roof. I signed with them and cannot wait to get the solar system up in a few weeks. I will be sure to post the photos when it's completed .

I heard about Solar Optimum through some friends who always mentioned their solar system and how great it was. We decided to finally look into the idea of getting one ourselves. We reached out to the office and talk to one of their sales reps, Silva, who was so informative from the get go. I mentioned my busy schedule due to my job and they were very accommodating to me. I met with their consultant who came in prepared with a few options that made the process easier for me to understand. Each time I called in with a request they were wonderful with making them happen. I like my friends where so excited with my new system that I have been trying to refer all my friends as well. The referral bonus helps but the amazing experience is what sold me.

I work from home now so my work life dipends on my computers and tech at home working.I have experienced a few instances where the power has gone down and I have been unable to continue working .I soon found that solar would be my best bet to make sure I have the power that I need it, when I need it. I have heard of competitive bids but this was truly a site to behold . After I scheduled a few appointments companies flooded my house with similar quotes. What stood out to me was all the special attention they took in designing not just my system but all the steps they put in to make sure that I was happy with it during the entire installation. I was given option that other companies did not offer and I was happy to see that this options where all in line with my goals for energy use. It's great to finally meet a company who is there to listen rather than to lead you towards a purchase you are not happy or sure of.

so much money with my electric car I started thinking the larger
scale and decided to upgrade my home's electricity to solar. I met with many companies but in the end, decided to go with solar optimum. They offered me a wonderful 9.8 kW system that achieved my homes energy needs and warrantied the work for the next 25 years. They choose to buy the system was an easy one to make once they told me of the credits and rebates I could receive. This relieved a lot of the cost and made the decision that much easier to make.

I consider myself pretty high tech and an ambassador when it comes to green technology. Last year I had a solar system installed at my home by solar Optimum.
They installed 28 LG solar panels with the racking and inverter as well as a monitoring system on my cellphone. I only wanted tier 1 equipment knowing it will be on my house for the next 30 years plus. The solar installation was completed in less than 2 days but final inspection took another two weeks. Very clean installation and the system is humming along very nicely. Solar Optimum gets my five star rating.
I recommended them for anyone looking to save big money on their electricity bill.

I was refered to solar optimum through a neighbor down the street. I saw the company truck at his house back in october and they were installing a new solar system. I was able to get the name of the company and set up an appointment with Sean. I was impressed with solar optimum work specially when Sean told me that they installed the solar system at the Northridge, Glendale Galeria and El Segundo Malls. It was important for me and my family to not give or business to any new or amateur solar companies because I have heard horror stories.
In the end Sean and installation team did a great job. The supporting cost at solar optimum were all very helpful including Tommy, Neema and Kim.

I attended a workshop last summer with a friend at Solar Optimum office in Glendale. My neighbor already had a solar system but was considering getting the new Tesla home battery. I tagged along to learn more about solar since it was something I`ve been thinking about for a while. The solar workshop really helped my understanding and I was able to ask a bunch of questions to the two guys that were doing the presentation. Afterwards, I met Jacob one of the reps and we scheduled a consultation at my home with my wife.Even though we met with two other solar companies so I do a fair comparison, I ended up with solar optimum because of their warranty and production guarantee (25 years).

I had a reat experience, my rep Kevin was very helpful + the team. They were great on walking me throught the process and the vedio were helpful. Solar Optimum did a really great job of answering all my questions, and helping me make decisions about what sort of system I wanted. They have a well designed process that makes it clear what has happened, is happening, and will happen as your system is designed and installed, and it never felt like they were trying to just sell me a bunch of stuff.
The system itself was installed well, and has been working out great so far.

When initially shopping and interviewing various Solar companies, I ultimately selected Solar Optimum. i found they were always available for my many questions.
Installation was super fast and without issues. I even had them upgrade my electrical panel.
Solar Optimum’s customer service is outstanding. There‘s always someone available to answer questions/concerns, and if that individual is unable to address a question, another person with that specific knowledge will call me back.
Overall, I will without a doubt, recommend Solar Optimum to install your Solar needs.

I am pleased with the final result of the installation, power generation is 50 to 100 % of needs depending on season, sunlight hours and weather, I expect this to improve. Spring, Summer and Fall. Batteries are great to have.
Customer service follows thru well in most cases.
Installers were diligent and polite, quality of workmanship is acceptable but can stand some improvement. however with some persistence they did complete open issues.
Hoping to receive all rebates and incentives, yet to see.
BTW, I did overpay a bill and Solar Optimum caught it and did refund me the over payment, Thank you
I would recommend Solar Optimum to others.

The competitive price was a very large factor in my choosing Solar Optimum to install my solar system; however, my experience throughout the process was very good once I understood that different departments handled different aspects of the installation. The referral to the WPCCU (credit union) for my loan was simply great, and my raise in my social security essentially makes the payments for the loan. Lastly, I found all represetatives of Solar Optimum very courteous and professional.

When I decided to install solar at my home, I reached out to 10 vendors including Costco Sunrun. After comparing the technology (solar panel and inverters offered), price quoted, and customer reviews, I went with Solar Optimum. Although they were not the cheapest, they offered the best value and trust. The whole process was pretty straightforward with great communication throughout the process. The installation went smoothly. I am now 3 months into usage, and I am glad that I got solar through Solar Optimum.

After signed up, I was further delighted about their quick and efficient response to my concerns. Solar was very pleasant to work with; the technician took the time to explain how everything worked while the installation was being done. Solar Optimum had to do things in steps because they had to wait on PGE for approval, but once things were approved, it took no time to get the solar up and running. I had a little issue with the installation, and Solar fixed it the following week. I am happy to recommend Solar Optimum to anyone that needs Solar.

Wish I had found them to install my solar panels but at least I found them to install my battery storage to tie in with the panels. The installation crew Ara, Kenny, Zhora and Zach were professional, knowledgable, and courteous. Best of all, I can't thank the supervisor Rene enough for making what can potentially be stressful issues so painless. Rene is amazingly upbeat and on the ball the whole time.
