I’m very pleased with our solar system from ReNu. The installers did an excellent job and the electrician was outstanding, not only with the wiring, but in doing so in a clean, professional manner. I like that ReNu set up our SREC program; one less thing for me to be concerned about. And customer service is just an email or phone call away. I highly recommend ReNu Solar and Roofing.

When are solar panels were installed in July 2021, the installers were efficient and knew what they were doing. They installed and secured 40 panels to our metal roof in no time. They were great to work with, answered our questions and very polite. We love our panels and last year decided to add the batteries for more efficient usage. I am leaving this message on my own accord without any prompting from ReNu.

Renu Solar installed solar panels on our church/home roof several years ago. It has proven itself as a great investment. The Renu sales representative was very professional and did not pressure us. The installers were all very personable and knew their craft well. We received tax rebates and we receive monthly payments for excess energy produced each year for ten years. It is wonderful having a zero or negative electric bill. (Meaning extra money in our account.) Around 1-2 months in Winter, we do receive modest bills. We would recommend Renu to anyone interested in having a solar system installed.

They were very good at selling me my solar panels, I am getting the feeling my system may be undersized, versus the predicted output. Everyone was very friendly. They could have cleaned up the job site a little better. I am still finding zip tie ends in my yard almost a year later. Once the system was installed, I could have used more assistance setting up my accounts and managing my app/settings. It was working, but it wasn't optimized, so I missed out on some savings. A thorough walk through of how to use the app would have been great.

The job was done quickly once it got started. There are many steps to get online. That is not controlled by the installer. I do not regret going solar powered. Electric bill have been non existent since November 2022 and then barely $8 this month. If I have a concern, I call the Rep and he takes care of it. I’m very satisfied.

I would definitely not recommend anyone deal with this company. During installation, the company called Enphase recommends installing surge protection. Renew chose not to do that. My system was down for over a year because of a surge, or a pair of surges that came through the line and took out 19 of my 20 micro inverters. Renew was ineffective in diagnosing. The problem drag their feet to visit my residence, never brought the materials they needed, and then finally tried to charge me about three times what another company charged to fix the problem their installation created. They rarely return phone calls, and I am thankful I no longer associate with them . I’d suggest running in any other direction than dealing with this company.
