Momentum Solar originally told me that the survey would be one day and the solar panels installation would be one day. This project began in June and now it is December and they are calling to come back again for the 19th time. Their work was shoddy, the install crew left a mess and apparently the panels are still not working. I wanted to do something good for the earth and it has turned out to be a nightmare.

They did not present the full truth to me about how solar billing works in my area. The benefits they told me are not true- I will never achieve 100% solar independence because when I am not generating power, but I am using power, I am being charged for the power. They did not contact the people who I gave to them for referrals.

Also, the whole govt rebate part was super misleading and we fear under new tax laws we just paid additional $6400 for this system which we will never recover. Not pleased at any level about this.

It took way to long to install and the installation was done so unprofessionally. Customer service promises they will help and they never do than to say sorry they gave us a lousy 250 dollars even tho I spent and lost ten times that amount do to the installation. The only thing I''m happy about is there gone and hopefully they never have to touch my house again

I was not told in advance that snow on the roof can cause gutter damage, and my gutters were knocked off the roof and dented my car. During a snow, I witnessed wet snow sliding off the roof all at once and instantaneously, brought down my font gutters. I filed a claim and they told me I need snow, gutter guards. This was the first time it was disclose to me that snow can damage gutters. I was never notified about this. They paid for my gutter repair. They also said they would pay for my car insurance deductible, "in writing', however they lied and refused to pay me.

The installation process went on well without any hitches, except they left something outside that I busted my kneecap on. I had to go in for emergency surgery, and I haven't been able to have any grandkids over because of that. I think it would have been nice if they had removed some trees to get the maximum amount of sunlight.

I made a very bad decision going with this company. The installation was neat and clean, but the solar panels have never been turned on. It's been a whole year, but they haven't turned on my panels. I would love to arrange them to come turn everything on. I arranged for inspectors from the company to come, but they never showed up. Customer support promised to have everything taken care of, but nothing happens still. It's ridiculous that I've been dealing with this. They have not completed their job.

I'm not a very happy customer. I complained to the company that my bill was around $300, but it is supposed to be much lower. I keep asking for a copy of what they estimated my bill to be, but they haven't sent it yet. I'm taking the steps to remove their system, but it's still here. I'm upset that I'm paying more for electricity than I was before. I would never recommend them to anybody, and they gave me a lower watt panel than I had asked for.

They promised that I would have a generator hook-up in case the wind power goes out, but that hasn't been done. I haven't heard even though I've called several times about when the generator installation is going to happen. But, the installation process went well, there haven't been any problems with it since it was installed.

But, I'm not having a good experience, I'm having issues I have had several times, and nobody will follow up with my complaints. I cannot recommend them to others because of it, people have approached me about my panels and i can't refer them.

Prior to contacting Momentum Solar, I had bought solar panels from a company that sold me panels that weren’t powerful enough for my home. Momentum rectified this problem by giving the right number of panels for my home needs. I appreciate them a lot for their help and honesty.

Their staff are friendly and well informed. I had lots of questions about solar, but they patiently answered them all. The day of installation, the team arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the day. They worked very well together and got the job completed on time. Definitely worth going with Momentum Solar.

Salesman was going from rote memorization, but that's okay. Got the information I needed and let him know Momentum was my first company to speak with about solar and that I'd discuss with the 2 other companies coming over and let him know. For the next hour he tried to 'close the deal'. I asked for any literature, a business card, or a copy of the contract they wanted me to sign ... nope ... nothing in writing. He actually wanted me to sign a contract 'to save my place for installation' for 25-years at 5.99% interest but it wasn't 'binding' according to him. WHAT?? It would be funny if it wasn't so sad and a shame that Momentum Solar resorts to forcing people to sign a purchase/install contract to just 'save a spot in line' for an installation - regardless of whether or not you want them as a company! THEN we find out that the price is 'negotiable' because they'll price match. I've got two more companies coming by today - hopefully, it won't feel like I'm in a time-share presentation. I see GREAT reviews about Momentum Installation, but customer service and sales can use some work. GlassDoor shows some employee issues as well .... seems like a 'get rich quick' as a salesman opportunity, at the expense of the buyer. Just be careful folks, no need to sign a contract, especially a 20-25 year contract to 'hold your place in line.' Ridiculous! Do people really buy that line??
