LA Solar group did a fantastic job. I have 72 280 KW panels hill side mounted in Calabasas. Plan check was longer than expected but as I built the house I do understand the delay as the footing required enlargement. Once this was approved the install was exceptional and the panels are aligned and level. The production exceeds our expectations, Ara and Gary were a great help as I was kept up to date during the permit process and would recommend them to anyone and I have. Best price, great service and top quality products.

I chose LA Solar Group in 2014 because of all the good reviews on Yelp. Once I met with Ara the main engineer I was satisfied they knew what they were doing. The price was very good and they completed the project on time. I happened to have an issue with the inverter but they worked with me and have taken care of the problem to my complete satisfaction. LA Solar is definitely a good company to go with.

Great Solar Energy Company that came in at a great price and found ways to save money by using existing electrical panel - no up-charges or gimmicks. Antoinette **** kept me informed and tracked my account, all along the way. It did take a bit of time to for them to coordinate with LA City and LA DWP, but staff was professional and addressed issues in a timely manner..

After months of research my family and I made the decision we would go solar. I contacted 3 solar companies which had great reviews on yelp. Out of the three, La Solar, gave me the best deal with the best named panels in the market (LG) compared to no named panels. La Solar initially installed a 7.4kwk system, a EV outlet with a new circuit breaker box. We were so happy with our system that we reached out to LA solar again months after and used our federal rebate to buy additional panels. After getting a sweet deal we added 20 additional panels. Las Solar offers quality at a great price.

LA Solar Group provided the best service of any company I have ever worked with. Gary Lubin, the representative,, always called me back and answered emails quickly. Every person who came out from the electricians to the panel installers was on time, courteous, and efficient. I'd add a negative comment to make this review sound more balanced but there is nothing I can say bad about this company. My son and I both used LA Solar Group and are both happy. I am generating the energy that LA Solar Group estimated that I would and can watch this from my iPhone application.

The system was installed on July 31. It is still not operational because they neglected to inform the power company to request PTO until I asked them to do it on August 21. The Power company still had not heard from them on August 28. I still do not have PTO, and it is September 24. LA Slar made an appointment with me for yesterday to come out to turn on the system yesterday, but they never showed up nor called to let me know that they wer not coming.

So far they are working fine, I haven’t had any issues. Installation was great and I am happy with them. They have a lower price and higher quality panel. I really struggle with customer support. They did not contact me about changes to the date of installation but installation went fine.

I did not receive updates, changed installation, did not change with city which wasted inspection. Took 5 trips to get the system working correctly because it was incorrectly wired originally. Installers did not have paperwork because it was not provided to them. They did not ground in second location which is required. This is just a portion of the on-going terrible service I received.

They have terrible customer service and communication. They cancelled appointments constantly, and nobody seems concerned once you're in the contract. We failed inspection and they won't fix it, it's been several weeks with nobody following up. They made a lot of promises and yet nobody will even respond to my complaint, and I've had to stay home from work for 3 days with no solution.

After the project for my home went on with periods of work being postponed, I escalated the issue. LA Solar made up for the lost time and was very responsive to my requests then completed the job with no further issues. Four stars because I wish I didn’t have to go through escalation to get the project to completion. The service I received at the end though was excellent!

We had two batteries installed by LASolar. A year and a half later there was a problem with the system not connecting anymore with our iPhones and tablets. LASolar tried to diagnose on-line, then sent out technicians twice. They wanted to make sure our problem got fixed, which it did!

It's been 3 years since LA Solar installed a 7.8 kW system on my roof that provides about 80% of our energy needs. It's performed better than expected and I expect to recoup my initial net investment in about 2 more years. We paid for the system upfront and got a nice break from their initial estimate. The system itself is one of the cleanest installations that I have seen, all of the panels laid out contiguously. Would not hesitate to recommend Gary L and the company.

Permitting took ten months when it shouldn’t have because they were not paying attention. The solar system is generating power but it has been continuously dropping connections. They do not seem to be aware of the feedback that I have given. I would not work with them.
