We began with a consultation from a sales representative who seemed genuine, and despite knowing the pricing for a new roof and solar was a bit higher than market value, we decided to move forward. Unfortunately, once the paperwork was filed, everything went downhill. We received multiple conflicting calls from different departments, each requesting paperwork or giving misinformation about DOB approvals. It took over three months just to get approvals. When the roof was finally installed, the crew did a terrible job—damaging garden plants, puncturing the roof, and even causing brand-new siding to fall off. It took another month for them to come back and fix the roof. Next came the electrical team, who tore down newly finished sheetrock, left without proper cleanup, and created more issues with my ceiling and exhaust fan. It took another two months before repairs were made, and even then, the work was not done properly. The original solar plan called for 25 panels, but only 20 were installed, yet the project still passed DOB inspection. When I followed up, I was told the missing 5 panels could be installed afterward to avoid re-inspection, which raised serious compliance concerns. I requested a refund for the missing panels, but instead was met with months of back-and-forth, excuses about a company “merger/acquisition,” and no resolution. This has been ongoing for over four months with no response, and I am now preparing to escalate legally. Adding insult to injury, the paperwork submitted to Con Edison was incorrect, preventing net metering setup and causing me to lose out on months of credits. This company’s customer service is poor, their work unprofessional, and their compliance practices questionable. I was warned not to use them when they operated as Sunco, and now I see why. If they change their name again, my advice will remain the same: stay away. My experience has been nothing short of horrible, and I will be pursuing legal action.

My whole experience with Sunco Solar was wonderful! It started with the first meeting in December. My reps were nice and very knowledgeable. They explained the whole process and showed me how I would save so much money and help the environment l! They replaced my roof too with great tax rebates! My Roof rep, was amazing also! The whole solar and roofing teams worked together to get everything done as expected within two months with no stress on me! Communication was excellent! My reps were available day or night for any questions about any aspect of the project! I would highly recommend them for all these reasons! Very Happy 😊.

I would give this business on star if I could. At the start of the project they were great, but once the project was completed, they stopped responding to my questions. I recently reach out to them by phone got someone name Tony, he evaded my questions, then apologized he could not answer my question. I asked to speak to a supervisor, he responded there is no supervisor around, I then asked if I can have a supervisor call me back, he said he does not have that information. I regret using this company and would not recommend.

So far 7 mos in horrible service. Did not live up to contractual obligations. Left half of my house on the grid. Had 2 bills to pay. Roofer installers damaged roof. They are refusing to fix the issue. There own contractors bad mouth them. I would say if I had the chance I would not do it again. Email after email call after call, its easy for them to push people aside when it doesn't impact them personally. This is impacting me personally and they just dont care. If a yone cares happy to provide actual proof.

So about three months ago, I had a representative from the attyx company mr. Sam MITCHELL come to my house and get me a price for solar. I was inquiring about solar due to me needing a new roof on my home and they stated they will replace my old roof free of charge. They promised me a $5000 bonus to sign up , a new electrical panel in my garage, and a brand new roof to put their solar panels on. They also stated I would pay a fixed rate of $95 a month for the next 20 years due to me owning the panels. I asked many many questions. They assured me and laughed at me that they’ve been in business 16 Years. There is nothing to worry about and there is no scheme here so they sent people with drones to look at my roof, they sent people on my roof to check it out. They all said yes the roof needs to be replaced one very soon. So two workers came and said they need to do minor repairs on my roof as they aren’t replacing the roof he said no it’s not in your budget for the plan that I was getting. I tried to contact my sales rep several times. No answer. I was referred to his supervisor Logan Christiansen to no avail. He also stopped answering my calls. they all stated is your roof needs to be replaced but in order to do that I would have to pay either $11,000 or not sign up with them. I then sent a drone of my own on the roof to look at what they did they left my roof patched up and taught everywhere 10 times worse as it was before. Just please learn from my mistakes do not sign up with this attyx company. Please learn for my mistakes. They will send salesman to your house promise you the world and take advantage of your lack of knowledge so now I have a messed up roof, no solar panels and they refuse to answer my calls if you can, please advise on what next steps I should take before taking legal action.

I appreciate all this company did for me, they had a bunch of different options. Luckily, I was able to finance the project with them that help keep my cost low. They showed up on time installed my HVAC beautifully and picked up after themselves. They reached out after a few months to see how everything was. I really appreciate their follow up.

I find ATTYX excellent in handling all the transactions including requests for permits, sending different teams to take care of surveying, electrician, roofers and solar installers. My roof was replaced in one day and 2 days after my solar panels were installed. Alex, the Manager, was so efficient and professional in answering my questions and concerns. Overall, I am very pleased and I’m giving the service a 5 star review! Nena

We did solar & a guest bedroom AC with ATTYX, aka SUNco :) The best thing we liked about this company is “efficiency” which I just had so many bad experiences from living in Hawaii. SUNco was always on schedule as they promised if any changes, they would update so we could be ready not left in dark and wondering! Thank you team for wonderful work!

All workers/members are very reliable. Their time management is impeccable. Communication was excellent. The manager always kept us informed of all steps being taken. When we called Mr. Alex, the manager, he always returned our calls and came through with our concerns. All team members worked together which helped ease any stress we had.

When you call the support team on the mainland is excellent at what they do. They are very personable and friendly and seem to genuinely care. HOWEVER, the support team they have locally in your area, from my experience has been awful. Primarily because the guy that came to my house to look at the roof, never followed up with what he said he would do. It was difficult communicating with him because he never answered his phone or replied to the texts. Having a leaky roof is stressful and I am finding that finding a good reliable roofer is challenging. I would not recommend Attyx to anyone!

What a scam!! I cannot express the regret of using this company and their false promises enough. I was in need of two new air conditioning units and was enticed by a representative from ATTYX to get two brand new units ($16,000) and solar panels ($55,000) for a whopping $71,000 for both. Well, I was told I would be “off the grid” and basically the $300 solar panel bill would replace my energy bill. Win/win, right? WRONG! It took 5 months for the panels to be activated and for the past 3 months my electric bill is still $300 on top of the $300 solar panel bill because the panels are producing minimal energy. I reached out to ATTYX with my concern/frustration and was basically told to suck it up and “have a nice day”. I was also told it takes a while for the panels to reach full capacity, but even my electric company said I’ve been scammed. Of the 723kwh total energy used for November, the panels are only producing 114.6kwh for the entire month of bright sunny days!! Please please please do not use this company. To make matters worse, the panels are considered a second mortgage and a lien will be placed against your home so if you need to refinance or pull money from your equity, forget about it. None of this was explained during their sales pitch. Take off the rose colored glasses and do your research folks! Don’t be scammed like the rest of us.

I made the mistake of clicking on a Facebook at that advertised a free, government assisted HVAC upgrade. I was soon contacted by ATTYX. Since clicking on the ad, I have received no less that 10 calls a day, sometimes 20! I've also been texted and left multiple voicemails. One text explained to qualify, I would need to install solar panels on my roof. I very kindly let them know I was no longer interested, because I don't want solar panels. I also requested they stop calling me. They still continue to call and call and call. I have a screenshot showing my call history that I'll try to add if possible. This is harassment!!!

I have been affiliated with this company since 2023. It has been a nightmare!! My system Installation was completed in January 2024. It never worked properly that was apparent to me after approximately two or three months although I contacted the company on numerous occasions nothing was ever done to look into this matter. It was the most stressful situation that I’ve ever experience. However, a stroke of luck put me in touch with a . Courteous person who listened to what I was saying, His name is Brandon D.… it is only because of him that I can rate this company at all This young man should do professional development as an example for the rest of the staff. No one else took the time to listen or made any effort to remedy my situation as it turned Out my system was improperly installed, and only because of Mr. D. was it resolved. Once again, thanks to him.

Here's the updated review: **1/5 Stars - Unacceptable Service and Poor Workmanship** "I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Sunco's (now operating as Attyx) installation of my roof and solar panels. Since the installation, my roof has been leaking, causing damage to my ceiling. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue, Sunco/Attyx has failed to resolve the problem. Today, I was told that I am out of warranty and need to contact the manufacturer to fix the roof. This is outrageous! The issue began immediately after installation, and Sunco/Attyx has refused to take responsibility for their subpar work. It's even more suspicious that they recently changed their name to Attyx, perhaps trying to distance themselves from their poor reputation. But the truth remains - their work is shoddy, and their customer service is non-existent. As a customer, I expect quality and service from the companies I work with. Sunco/Attyx has failed to deliver on both counts. I feel misled and taken advantage of. Beware of Attyx (formerly Sunco) - their poor workmanship and lack of accountability will leave you with costly headaches and stress. I demand better from companies I trust with my home."

Over priced. Really bad customer service. The project took forever to finish and lots of surprises. I specifically want to warn everyone from that sells rep. Mitchell Sims a complete fraud. Promise and never deliver. After you sign the contract he will never answer the phone. And you have to deal with all the headaches by yourself. Lots of promises and don’t deliver. A complete fraud.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE, WOULD HAVE NEVER INVESTED MY MONEY ON THIS PROJECT. SOLAR PANELS HAVE DESTROYED MY ROOF. TECHNICIAN (WHO LOOKED LIKE HE WAS 18 YEARS OLD AND SPOKE NO ENGLISH) CAME TO MY HOUSE AND SPRAYED SOME SILVER SILICONE AND SAID IT WAS REPAIRED. 2.5 MONTHS LATER, SURPRISE, LEAKING AGAIN ANDD CEILING NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 2 WEEKS AFTER VERBATIM HAVE BEEN TOLD "FIRST COME FIRST SERVED". I JUST WANT THEM REMOVED ROOF FIXED AND OUT OF THIS NIGHTMARE.

Broken promises from day one & sold me a system & only installed half with an AC that I can’t turn on. They were quick to install the first half in 2 weeks so I couldn’t back out from the deal. It has now been 2 months and haven’t completed my installation & they don’t return any of my calls & blame outside vendors when they are to blame for scheduling with them or submitting permits. The communication is horrible & not a trustworthy company at all
