Champion Window traces its roots back to 1953 when they started as a neighborhood manufacturer of storm doors and windows. They quickly expanded into the replacement windows industry and moved into their 502,000 square foot headquarters in 2000. More recently, Window & Door awarded Champion Window with the 2008 Crystal Achievement Award for Most Innovative Plant.

The Good

  • Experience
  • Low Finance Rate
  • Coverage
  • Lifetime Guarantee

Experience

With over 60 years of industry experience, the experts at Champion Window have seen it all. Because they have moved through the industry from the bottom up, they do recognize and understand the concerns of their clients. When it comes to whether or not you can trust this company, it’s safe to say Champion Window are leading experts in their industry.

Low Finance Rate

Although the final cost of their siding services will vary from home to home, Champion Window does offer APR finance rates as low as 6.99 percent.

Coverage

Champion Window operates in 30 of the 50 states in the U.S. When compared other companies in the industry, this number is well above average. Your chances are extremely good that Champion Window operates in your Lifetime Guarantee for siding and installation.

Lifetime Guarantee

Because their siding materials are durable and require little maintenance, Champion Window offers a Lifetime Guarantee for siding and installation. They promise that their siding resists fading and even claim that their siding material won’t rust, crack, or peel in any way.

The Bad

  • Contract Length
  • Inconsistency

Contract Length

Some may find that Champion Windows’ strict 60 month contract length is troublesome enough to steer clear of the company. Other siding companies in the industry offer a wide range of contract lengths, from six to 24 months.

Inconsistency

On the whole, Champion Window does at least attempt to address consumer concerns. With this in mind, there have been a small number of complaints regarding failed deliveries, poor service, and poor workmanship. While the company is actively making promises to fix problems, some clients claim they are not loyal to their word.

The Bottom Line

A 60-month contract length is too much for many people. For those who don’t mind the contract length, Champion Window is a fantastic choice for your siding needs. Their many years of experience equip them with the industry knowledge and client sympathy needed to provide great service. Though some few have been dissatisfied with their experience, we still recommend Champion Window for their affordable finance rates and industry expertise.

Champion has the worst customer service inhale ever dealt with. They have lied to us. They don't return phone calls. We called them and wanted to add another window. There policy is once it's ordered to cancel u have a 30% cancellation fee. So I called them to order the window then we found a few big leaks so I called and said I didn't want to order the window til the leaks were fixed. Well he ordered it anyway and never did fix the leaks. So now I'm stuck paying for a window I DO NOT WANT. When i called about the leaks I was told they were busy and we lived so far away it was going to be a while before they could get to us, but boy they sure dis order that window fast. Anything to get your money. Worst experience ever. I even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We have has problems from start to finish. Will never recommend them to anyone. Worst company ever.
