Dish network is a terrible choice of Satellite TV., you will spend more time dealing with customer service and technicians than be able to watch television, their equipment has so many issues and their customer service doesn't care for customers, go with Comcast Xfinity or other serious company.

Their dvr boxes repeately fail. And if you download a movie, DO NOT pause it or rewind it or the entire thing will fail and you will pay for a movie you will never see. And good luck downloading another one, it won't work either. If you call them you wait FOREVER only to get some knucklehead in another country who tries to upsell you. They SUCK.

Horrible customer service, I call to cancel the service couple months ago , they still charge me for two more months and say that I never call to cancel, they don’t put notes on there system and they just said that you never call , now I’m stock on paying this service, never again , not recommend 👎

The Hopper is nice to record shows, but the signal is terrible. Bad weather will prevent you from recording or watching anything live. Too expensive for how slow the service is and how limited the channels are.

We had cox for so many years. I had some issues with them. BUT never as many as Dish.its so over priced and terrible service. As soon as this 2 year deal is over I'm going back to Cox. Grass is not always greener on the other side. Pure crap.

I pay 80+ dollars a month for what amounts to a bunch of unmitigated crap. Then, when a show I'm really interested in comes on the reception all of a sudden goes down the toilet. If this, or any other provider, were( interested in us customers they would listen to and provide us with the programming we want, no BS, no questions asked!

Ive been with dish for about 15 years. Im tired of being lied to . They say if you stay we will give you this programming for $30... ok I stay, a month later its auto charged $45. a month or 2 later its charged $55. or $70 or $95 ... IM so fed up. I am going to look for a better more reliable and more honest service.

Terrible. Weather is always a problem from a small cloud to snow. I’m serious about clouds. Calling them up is useless because they just keep asking what do you see on the screen. They are just waiting for the weather to change. Being honest, look for something else....

Dish cancelled the One channel that I was using their service for, when I called to cancel they held me to the highest early termination fee, make sure you know how absurd these early termination fees are and that this company cancels channels regularly without any warning and shows no sympathy. Extremely poor customer service experience.

Dish gave me the wrong information on equipment I needed to purchase then refused to refund my money. Claimed I was outside their "window for returns". That occurred because of their delays in sending me the boxes and packing information for the return. I will not ever, ever do business with them again.

When you start up with Dish they’ll give you one price eventually the price goes up and up it’s not worth the package plus times are hard right now trying to get extension for three days and they said no your service gonna be turned off until you pay your bill they’re not looking out for the customers

Please do not sign up for Dish. They don't guarantee the channels but they guarantee to hold you to a contract. I have been called 7 times in 2 days regarding my account. It at the point of harassment. Please choose any other company but this one.

We continue to have technical disruptions from our dish...on a MONTHLY. basis. It takes about 45 minutes to fix the problem....when we call for help we are ALWAYS put on hold for 30 minutes or more

Impossible to cancel. I canceled in February. They failed to cancel it and continued to bill me. Had to stay on the phone for over an hour. Still wanted to charge me for a service I did not use. I had been a customer for at least 10 years! I will never be a customer again!

All the channels are running limited movies now, most of which are over 20 years old. Most are switching to 40 year old tv shows. They won’t even run seasonal movies like “HOP” and “ Rise of the Guardians” now at Easter time for the children at these trying times. Not fair to pay $150. Per month with nothing to watch.

My mother, 70 years old, tried to have her dish changed to her name after the death of my stepfather. They told her she was fine for 6 months. After a month they shut 9ff her service and said she needed to provide his death certificate to prove he's dead. Why put this lady through more trauma? Absolutely disgusting treatment to a widow

Increased my rates DURING PANDEMIC 6$ per month. NO SENIOR DISCOUNTS. NO INCENTIVES TO KEEP CUSTOMERS. Only INCENTIVES FOR NEW CUSTOMERS. Daily updates interrupts usage, bluetooth devices,and USE of DISH REMOTE. This service/provider/company could be replced by MOST ANYTHING. BUYER BEWARE!

Dish first lost HBO some time back so I have to pay more money to Amazon to get HBO then earlier this year (2020) they lost our ABC affiliate and then they dropped the NFL channel and now I find I don't get Saturday Night Live on the NBC affiliate they are instead airing episodes from the 1970's HUH??? I absolutely hate, hate, DISH

Dish Network steals from the dead. My Dad died in December 2019 and they still refuse to refund payments made for services rendered AFTER HIS DEATH. They are required by law to refund this money. None of Dish's employees are aware of the Federal and State consumer protection laws regarding decedents.

"universal" remotes operate functions on tv but the navigation arrows dont work. Absolutely pathetic design. How does it operate tv functions but wont scroll through the options? Very POOR design. WAIT, WHAT? DISH refuses to get a deal with Fox Sports North, so here we are in a 6 or 7 state area and cant get any of the pro baseball team here. Meanwhile, their bundle is full of stuff like 'Am I Pooping Enough' and 'Dr. Pimple Popper?' I WILL BE LOOKING TO SWITCH! no wonder they are dropping customers by several 100,000 per quarter.

They charged me for an account that was never turned on and refused to refund the fees. Then when I complained, they charged me another $500 to cancel the account that was never turned on. I'll never do business with them again. Cancelling my other Dish account and selling my Dish stock today.

Dish promised a 2 year price lock then after a few months drastically increased the cost of service by claiming they only promised to lock in the cost of one programming package but they increased other costs like local channel access and fees and rentals of equipment. Do not trust them.

Poor Customer Support. Reference two issues that have been reported over 3 years ago, and still have Dish saying "we are working on that". 1) Netflix on Hopper 3 blank screen 2) Dish Anywhere does not work without internet. Dish continues to advertise you can download to phone, then watch without internet. NOT TRUE.

Idk who or how the training is done over there at DISH but at this point I’d rather hang a wire hanger from my tv than use them for anything!!!

This is by far the worse service I purchased in my life time, stay away, there is absolutely no reason to switch from cable, we've had nothing but issues, since we purchased, min hold time has averaged between 15-17 minutes, took 39 minutes to trouble shoot my issue, and wasn't offered anything, do not subscribe to this service

After several calls to dish to inquire about pause service for a second home the agent Dan was rude, kept me on hold for 30+ minutes because I asked to speak to his supervisor . He disconnected the call. When I called back I found out he disconnected the service. I am filing a FCC complaint against DISH.
