Zillow is a great cite to browse real estate to get an idea of what the market is in your area and virtually tour homes without an agent from your couch.

Very easy to search properties, like the fact you can narrow your search criteria making it useful. Like the fact it saves your searches and you get notified when a property matches your criteria.

These people are a nightmare!! We aren't even listed with them. Our home is not for sale, not in pre-foreclosure, not up for auction!! Our home has been in loan modification, was approved by our first lender, sold to another lender and is in final review. We have been told by our lender that all is approved. Zillow and Auction.com will not remove the false listing!! They both tell us to have the mortgage company just call them...Per both of our lenders, "we don't call Zillow or Auciton.com". Both mortgage companies are saying this is a scam and will be initiating legal action. We are in contact with our attorney as well. This happened the first time in Feb 2019, and was removed immediately by Zillow. Now somehow they just can't remove it. This was re-posted a week ago and now they won't remove it!! Avoid Auction.com and Zillow at all cost. They listed this on their own, we never contacted them.

When I was looking to buy a house, I enjoyed using Zillow. The only thing I didn't like was that houses would already be sold and they would still be up on zillow's site and it was kind of frustrating.

The site is easy to use and has a ton of useful information. The searches are easy to customize, but it only has town specifications whereas I would prefer distance specifications.

Ziillow is a great tool to find a house, but isn't necessarily the best tool to find a foreclosed home. A lot of time, the "foreclosed" listings on Zillow are outdated or are just ways to get your to look at a house even though it is not foreclosed. Best to look at real foreclosed sites to get real information. Zillow can help give ideas and pricing though.

Zillow's pricing on properties is not very accurate. The only thing it should be used for is comparing the relative value of properties. Our house sold for 25% more than the Zillow stated value. It is advisable to take everything with a grain of salt and check several sources.

Often times, I use Zillow as a trusted site to search for rental properties and/or houses for sale. The information is not always accurate for rentals (as far as pricing and current availability) but I've contacted Zillow personally regarding removal of my personal property information and they were promptly responsive.

Looking up homes on Zillow is easy and you can occasionally see homes on the inside that are off market. The downfall is that I don't feel like the "zestimate" is necessarily accurate and people might be in for a surprise when they actually work with a real estate agent.

Zillow is by far the site I've used the most for searching rentals and found several. Easy to navigate and lots of info on the properties, although some lack photos. My only criticism is that all the properties on Zillow seem more expensive than on other sites, I'm not sure why this is.

I have used Zillow many times as I used to be a real estate agent. Zillow is good for the most part but often the home prices are over stated. Also they often have homes 'for sale' that have been taken off the market. Realtors do this so they can get more calls even though that particular house has sold.

The search engines are very specific and coincide with maps for every listing. Being able to contact realtors/landlords as well as apply directly for properties was a big plus.

Zillow is great for just checking in on the market area around you. Sometimes their map function doesnt work the best but jo big deal. I dont think their information on the details of the properties is always accurate but again its good for getting a general sense or just looking homes up for fun.

Overall a pretty good site. The mapping ability is one thing that I really like. I wish there was more filtering options. I have found some listing where the data didn't align with the end results. I guess this is because the poster selected bad data when creating the listing.

Easy to search & the interface is easy to use. The listings may not be 100% up-to-date though. Your email will get updates long after searches unless you remember to go in and delete the saved search from your profile. But overall, it's great. The app is very user friendly, too.
