I like that you can sign up for a free account and search for an apartment in a specific location. It is budget-friendly. It also has pictures and street views. It details the nearby schools and attractions. I dislike that some of the location's pictures are out of date.

Not the best, not the worst. It can be useful to get an idea of what corporate, big business housing is available and sometimes it does show for rent by owner properties, but you often have to go digging to find them. So it really depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for smaller rental companies and rent-by-owner and sublets, look elsewhere. If you are looking for more corporate landlord situation, this is a good place to look.

This apartment finding website is mediocre when it comes to the real truth of apartments. Although the pictures that they take are very beautiful(ly) enhanced, you are not always getting what you see nor the whole truth when it comes to the surrounding community, meaning neighboring houses, different apartment complexes near by or the surrounding property appraisals. This site is just for the realtors benefit and not so much for the buyers.

Apartments.com is very user friendly which helps someone like me who is not tech savvy at all. I liked I could hide the apartments I wasn't interested in. The down side is that properties can only have a complimentary basic listing for a short time.

They have a ton of listings that are pretty accurate. I do not like that they flood your email box with information. I think it would be better if the system had a button to inquire about a property and then be sent information instead of being sent right away.

It’s better when you can actually speak to someone right away. The videos and pictures helps a lot to make a decision and make the move smoother . The contacts that each Apt or house are very efficient, but you need some patient to wait for the response back

There are a lot of filters that you can choose from in order to find the type of housing that you want. This is a free service, so I used it a lot to help look for student housing in Provo. It has the option of searching for apartments with private rooms as well as by rent prices, which I found to be super helpful.

I really enjoy using apartments.com however the interface and the digitization of the map make it sometimes hard to use. in order for me to find an apartment, I had to go through a variety of different stats to be able to use the map properly. Furthermore, all apartments that are listed are sometimes not for sale on the actual apartment companies website. This makes it really hard whenever moving to a new city, like I was doing to keep up to date with the apartment search. However overall I enjoy that apartments.com shows photos the most recent photos of an apartment.
